She went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable and happy throughout his stay. Our dog is a very picky eater and refused to eat his kibble, so Christy thoughtfully offered him eggs, cheese, chicken jerky, and even some of the homemade food they prepared for their own dogs to ensure he was eating well. Our dog also enjoyed plenty of playtime. Their large backyard gave him lots of room to run around and burn off energy, and Christy even gave him ice to help him stay cool in the hot Houston weather. One thing we especially appreciated was Christy's excellent communication. She kept us updated throughout the stay and shared plenty of photos and videos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and comfortable our dog was. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life! We had a family dog when I was growing up and I would house/ pet sit for my neighbors when they would go out of town. I currently have three fur babies. A 2 year old Cane Corso/ Stafford Terrier named Moose, a 2 year old pit bull mix named Oakley and a cat named Romeo! About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was born but I started counting my years of experience from when I moved out, got married, and had 2 dogs of my own that recently passed. We got them both when they were puppies and cared for them all the way into their seniorhood so I have experience taking care of puppies as well as elderly dogs. I work from home so I will be here to care for your pet the majority of the time (I’m happy clarity more in person). I hope to work with you and love on your pet soon! If at my house, I can watch your dogs here while I work from home. We have plenty of yard space if your pet likes being outside and if they don’t, I’m available to let them out anytime throughout the day. If at your house, it will just depend on the day/time and if I’m able to work from there. If I can I can just bring my laptop but if I can’t, it will need to be in the evening when I am clicked out. At my house, our dogs were mainly inside dogs so they were with me the majority of the day and anytime they needed to go out we let them. I will follow whatever feeding schedule needed; my dog’s food ranged from solid to soft food (our older dog had some teeth extracted and didn’t have many left) or a mix of both so I’m comfortable giving either. Water is usually always out for them to get when they needed it. Our smaller dog was allowed on the couch and bed and our bigger dog was only allowed on the couches here and there but was allowed on the bed. We did not crate them but I am familiar with crating. For other places, I will follow whatever routines/rules requested.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life of all sizes. Very patient and friendly with all fur babies. In our home they are apart of my family. I am currently a stay at home wife so my schedule is very flexible and I am very happy to make appointments to make sure they get the attention your fur babies deserve! I have experience with dogs beings off leashes trained as well as the ones that constantly need leashes so they don’t get into trouble. Playing in the yard or just butt scratches are a staple!

I keep dogs properly leashed and pay attention to our surroundings at all times. I also stay off my phone during walks because I want my attention to be on your dog, not a screen. I watch for other dogs, cars, people, or anything else around us that could become a safety concern. Whether I’m taking your dog on a walk, playing with them, feeding them, or just keeping them company, I want them to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. About: I have owned cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, fish, horses and many other creatures. I have more than 45 years experience with animals and I have also worked in an emergency animal hospital (VCA Spring Branch). I have tons of patience and free time and would love to help out with your pets. I own a tabby cat currently so I am always taking care of her in some way. I am neurodivergent and a bit awkward from C-PTSD, ADHD and mild autism spectrum disorder. I am more than capable of doing a great job with your animal kiddos and probably more in touch with them than humans because they are predictable which is a nice change from humans. I am trying to help my mom in any way I can to send my 18 yr old twins to college even if that just means taking care of myself more without help from her since she and I have coparented for 18 years and she has always been my biggest inspiration and supporter. I have a fenced yard. There are tons of walking trails in the area. I am very relaxed around animals and just love to give attention and companionship. Pets are allowed to be inside and outside. Whatever makes them comfortable. They cannot get out of my yard and I would never leave them unattended outside. I love to meet pets before staying with them even if more than once because their security and comfort allow us all to stay safe and secure especially if i am coming in their house with their humans not there. Your pet will get plenty of attention, affection, and companionship so they feel relaxed and at ease while you’re away. For dog walking, I make safety and enjoyment my top priorities. I walk at your dog’s pace, whether they prefer a relaxed stroll or a more energetic outing. I’m happy to include exercise like running or playing fetch if your dog enjoys it. After each walk, I ensure they have fresh water, are settled comfortably, and I provide updates so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for right in the comfort of their own home.
About: I’m a very loving individual and you will see that. I steered into the Medical Field for a little but my heart is in animals and giving them the attention they need. I have worked at Rover Oaks as a Doggie Daycare attendant. From being bitten to having snuggling moments, I wouldn’t change my thought or reconsider any animal that I’ve taken care of. After losing our first born 'child,' a pit bull mix named Bella, I was finally able to adopt again in May 2019. Shelby is a blue heeler mix, and she loves playing with other dogs. Our dog also enjoyed plenty of playtime. Their large backyard gave him lots of room to run around and burn off energy, and Christy even gave him ice to help him stay cool in the hot Houston weather. One thing we especially appreciated was Christy's excellent communication. She kept us updated throughout the stay and shared plenty of photos and videos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and comfortable our dog was.
