“This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”

Leaving my dog with a person I did not know made me nervous as well, however, Britney shattered my perception of how boarding could be. She replied to questions very timely, provided me with daily pictures of my dog, without asking. She asked questions when she wanted to know more about the dog, she was super friendly, very flexible on times. I was also worried about my dog feeling comfortable eating and drinking, however, my dog ate and drank on the first night at Britney's home. Britney must be doing something right. I would highly recommend Britney to people that I know for boarding, and if I need boarding again, Britney will be my first choice.”

About: I’ve always been a cat person. Growing up, I would often help take care of friends’ and family members’ cats whenever they were away. I loved spending time with them, making sure they were fed, had clean litter, got plenty of playtime, and, of course, lots of attention. About three years ago, I got my own cat, and she’s honestly my best friend. Taking care of her has taught me so much about cats and their different personalities. About: I make sure that your animal is well taken care of. If I have school or other things going on, I make sure to stop by to see your pet every 2 or so hours. I give lots of treats and hugs and cuddles to your furry friends. I’m currently in school so I’m perfectly free after 2pm Monday-Thursday Other than that I’m free all day and available at your let’s need. Also available to check on your pet in between classes I make sure the pets are fed every day and night at the same time. I walk dogs at the same time every day and for the same amount of time. About: I have been the main sitter for multiple friends a family for years. I have always loved dogs! I love getting to know their different personalities! I have had many dogs my self and I know how stressful it can be making sure they are taken care of when you are gone! I work from home and have flexibility to be able to work from anywhere, which gives the flexibility to be able to do pet sitting! I live in an apartment that has a dog play area to let them run! I normally take walks on my breaks anyway so helping someone out walking and playing is accessible multiple times. About: I have a 8 yr old bichon myself whom I have trained to be an esa. I also have a five-year-old toy poodle mix who is also an ESA. I am the go to person to dog sit for my friends and family. I am very patient and kind and sill give you furry family member all the love they need. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of the fur babies. I am gone for about eight hours on Tuesday and Thursday. However, I work very close to home so I can run home to do Potty breaks if need be. Both of my dogs are very different personality wise. Loki loves to play and he’s a very curious dog. He likes to interact with other dogs as well. He may be eight years old, but you would think that he’s still a puppy with the amount of energy he has but he’s not wanting to play. He’s wanting to watch TV and cuddle as for Apollo. He’s very laid-back and chill. He likes to just sleep and play by himself, but he will play with other others. He does have a condition with his eyes where he does not produce the correct amount of tears so I do administer a daily medication for him. I do have a small yard with a doggie door so they have access to outside all day.

You can call for video as often as you'd like! I don't crate any animals unless it is requested. The puppies have access to the whole house including beds and couches. I respect what you do with your babies at home and I'll do my best to keep the consistency! I goto school in the evenings but I am home the rest of the day. I live a very active lifestyle and your pups will join us in hiking, walks, fetch, park and out door restaurants! Kiddy pool is available if your dog enjoy the water. We have a very high privacy fence and a dog door that can be utilized under supervision. You will get ton of pictures and updates and video calls are welcome! I take safety very seriously and we have cameras set up. Gates are set up around front door for safety. We have a camera in the home as well. All the dogs are assessed before being accepted.
About: I have owned dogs the past 30 years! (And a cat as a child). I am dependable, responsible and caring. You can be assured your pet is in good hands. I am currently an at-home mom of two middle school aged children. I have the flexibility to meet most pet needs you might have with little notice required. I have a fenced yard that our Cavapoo has free access to. Our children love animals! When I’m in your home I will take care of it as if it were mine.

“This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”
