Being that we would be gone for 2 weeks, we were a little nervous leaving Eli with somebody he hadn't stayed with before but soon after dropping off Eli our worries went away. Kara sent us an immediate update saying Eli and her dogs were already having a great time playing together. A week before Eli's stay, Hurricane Harvey came through the area and Kara kept us updated as they were out of town during the storm and had to postpone her return. About: I’ve volunteered at the Houston SPCA, and raised/babysat dogs all of my life — I’ve got a lot of love to give! Aside from raising my own dogs, volunteering at the SPCA has exposed me to dogs from various backgrounds, so I have just about handled them all. As for cats, I’ve taken care of cats throughout my life as well and now have two of my very own. I have just about everything they need to feel loved, safe, and taken care of! I mainly work remotely while my husband works fully remote, so looking after fur babies fits in just fine. This means we’ll take potty breaks often, get lots of pets, and go on walks and/or play throughout the day. If your pet is on the active side, I will happily ensure they are getting the exercise and play they need. If your little one likes to chill and be cuddled, I’m totally down for that too. About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was born but I started counting my years of experience from when I moved out, got married, and had 2 dogs of my own that recently passed. We got them both when they were puppies and cared for them all the way into their seniorhood so I have experience taking care of puppies as well as elderly dogs. I work from home so I will be here to care for your pet the majority of the time (I’m happy clarity more in person). I hope to work with you and love on your pet soon! If at my house, I can watch your dogs here while I work from home. We have plenty of yard space if your pet likes being outside and if they don’t, I’m available to let them out anytime throughout the day. If at your house, it will just depend on the day/time and if I’m able to work from there. If I can I can just bring my laptop but if I can’t, it will need to be in the evening when I am clicked out. At my house, our dogs were mainly inside dogs so they were with me the majority of the day and anytime they needed to go out we let them. I will follow whatever feeding schedule needed; my dog’s food ranged from solid to soft food (our older dog had some teeth extracted and didn’t have many left) or a mix of both so I’m comfortable giving either. Water is usually always out for them to get when they needed it. Our smaller dog was allowed on the couch and bed and our bigger dog was only allowed on the couches here and there but was allowed on the bed. We did not crate them but I am familiar with crating. For other places, I will follow whatever routines/rules requested.

I actually used to have a Rover profile when living in Alaska over 10 years ago, but I can no longer access it. We have several pets of our own, including a Bengal and Savannah cat, as well as a standard Poodle. Please not that if your pups or kitties are not good with children, I would be unable to do boarding in-home. No animal is too big or too small! I do offer a repeat customer discount ☺️ I work from home, so does my husband, so your pet will receive around-the-clock attention. If they are typically kenneled, I do have one additional XL dog kennel on hand, but they are also free to roam if that is what you prefer. Potty breaks are frequent, and additional walks can be completed upon request. Our typical route is a one-mile loop from my home to a nearby man-made lake. My home has a fully fenced-in backyard, and kennels are available upon request. Your fur baby will have plenty of attention from my dog, Piper, or my cats, Meech and Moon. Walks are only completed on leash to ensure your pet does not elope. We do have children in the home, but they have been raised around animals and know the importance of respecting your pet's boundaries.

About: With a Yorkie and Pomeranian in my family, I have been well equipped to take care of any pup! I love these furry guys and understand how important it is to have quality time away with quality care equipped for our little guys. I am currently a student at the University of Houston and am incorporating pet care into my schedule. I truly make time to make sure my clients pets are cared for.
