About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. My first job was a Veterinary Tech, and I am a Registered Nurse. I have trained multiple dogs, and use positive enforcement as frequently as possible. I have cared for several aging pets to brand new puppies. I work from home. I occasionally have meetings, events outside of the home. My home has a dog door for access to my fenced in backyard. I do have a way to block this if necessary but my dog uses it all the time and have had no issues with the back yard. I have a fenced in back yard, my dog is not one that typically plays much with any toys or other dogs. She is very friendly just older now and has not as much energy or interest. We do take daily leash walks. Any dog would need to be leash trained in order to walk with us.

I have a 2 year old Rottweiler who had parvo when she was 2 months old and we got her through that, and recently fostered a cat who we just got back to health as well. “We hadn’t left our 10-year-old silver Lab with anyone in a long time, and we really didn’t want to board her in a large facility. We were looking for something more personal and calm, and Roland ended up being a perfect fit. Communication was great from the start, which made leaving for an extended Europe trip much easier. Our dog got lots of individual attention and gentle socialization with Roland’s dog Coco, and she was clearly comfortable and happy while we were away. Roland even worked with her on a few behaviors and took the time to show us how to continue that at home, which we really appreciated. We came home to a relaxed, well-cared-for dog. He’ll definitely be our first call for future pet sitting and boarding, and we highly recommend him.”
