“I would give Heather 10 stars if it were possible! We’ve boarded our dog on several occasions and it’s always been a tough experience because she doesn’t eat very well and has seemed depressed while we’re gone. Our experience with Heather was the complete opposite; our dog was content and happy the entire time, something we didn’t think was possible while boarding 😅. Heather was very communicative and sent photos and videos of our dog every day while we were away. Her facility is also very clean and well kept, and feels warm and inviting as opposed to the large dog crates we’re accustomed to with other boarders. Heather obviously loves dogs and we were so grateful that she took such good care of our dog while we were gone for 10 days. I can’t recommend her and her services highly enough, this was hand down the BEST boarding experience we and our dog have ever had.”

About: i’ve had cats and dogs my whole life so i have plenty experience with both smaller and larger breeds. i currently have an australian shepherd/cattle dog mix, named Apollo. he is an epileptic baby so im also familiar with administering medications, not so much injectable medications though. i also have experience with guinea pigs and hamsters. all pets require love and patience. i’m currently working part-time and studying full-time. my schedules varies week to week but i am sure that we can work something out that fits both your pets needs as well as my own. i will care for you pet(s) however you need or request. i just ask that you give me detailed direction and guidance for what’s typical for your fur baby and any specialized care they may need.

About: I have had many animals throughout my life. I have also cared for friends’ animals when they go out of town. Your fur babies will be well cared for with me! I am a stay at home mom to teenage boys, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am home all day most every day, so you can rest assured your pet is getting one on one attention every day of their stay! I have a fenced yard and a 9-pen boarding facility at my home. Each pen has access to a private, fenced potty area and your dog can either participate in group play or have private one-on-one play if they are more shy.

We were going on a family beach trip to Galveston but the owner wouldn't allow pets, so we had to find someone close and quick. The day before we contacted Lori and sent her pics and info and she immediately said yes! We received pictures everyday of Hawkeye happily playing and being loved on. You can tell they truly love all of their guests and treat them like family. My two little boys came home and raved to my husband how nice Lori and Billy were to Hawkeye and us. About: I’ve fostered over 300 cats and dogs since 2017 through Rescued Pets Movement and BARC in Houston, TX. I’ve worked in an upscale kennel/boarding facility in the past and can easily adhere to specific routines some pets may require. I currently live near the Medical Center in Houston, TX with my male fiancée. I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life- I love all animals but have much more experience with larger dogs vs. smaller breeds. I work 100% remotely and am home generally all the time on the weekdays unless I need to run out for an hour or two, during which my personal dogs are required to be crated by my landlord. Depending upon weekend plans, my personal dogs are crated for no more than 8 hours a day while we are out and are fine with this. I am happy to not make plans on a weekend I am watching your pets if they suffer from separation anxiety or similar condition. My two personal dogs are a 6 year old male black lab mix (Avery) and a 2 year old female Great Pyrenees rescue (Kona). They are both incredibly sweet and gentle with all animals and people they encounter. Kona is a bit shy with new people but is great around other dogs and LOVES cats. All of my animals, including my two female cats, are all spayed or neutered. We also have a “senior” kitty LadyBird who is around 7-8 years old and a 5 month old Russian Blue kitten named Romy. The cats are the well established bosses of the house but please do not book with me if you have a dog that is aggressive toward people, other dogs, or cats. I work 9-5, 100% remote from my home and can take as many breaks as needed for potty breaks and usually a trip or two per week to the local dog park after working hours. My animals are big couch potatoes and love to lounge around while I work and listen to music or watch tv. We always use slip lead leashes unless we are at the fenced in dog park. Because of my remote work, I am able to maintain a quiet, relaxed and peaceful home environment that would hopefully quell some animal anxiety being in a new place.

The only places I really travel to during bookings are to other drop ins and the gym but I can ensure not to be gone longer than 4-5 hours! We’ve boarded our dog on several occasions and it’s always been a tough experience because she doesn’t eat very well and has seemed depressed while we’re gone. Our experience with Heather was the complete opposite; our dog was content and happy the entire time, something we didn’t think was possible while boarding 😅. Heather was very communicative and sent photos and videos of our dog every day while we were away. Her facility is also very clean and well kept, and feels warm and inviting as opposed to the large dog crates we’re accustomed to with other boarders. Heather obviously loves dogs and we were so grateful that she took such good care of our dog while we were gone for 10 days. I can’t recommend her and her services highly enough, this was hand down the BEST boarding experience we and our dog have ever had.”
