“I would give Heather 10 stars if it were possible! We’ve boarded our dog on several occasions and it’s always been a tough experience because she doesn’t eat very well and has seemed depressed while we’re gone. Our experience with Heather was the complete opposite; our dog was content and happy the entire time, something we didn’t think was possible while boarding 😅. Heather was very communicative and sent photos and videos of our dog every day while we were away. Her facility is also very clean and well kept, and feels warm and inviting as opposed to the large dog crates we’re accustomed to with other boarders. Heather obviously loves dogs and we were so grateful that she took such good care of our dog while we were gone for 10 days. I can’t recommend her and her services highly enough, this was hand down the BEST boarding experience we and our dog have ever had.”

“We hit the jackpot by finding Lori and Billy last minute to watch our Australian Shepherd, Hawkeye, who we have only had three weeks. We were going on a family beach trip to Galveston but the owner wouldn't allow pets, so we had to find someone close and quick. The day before we contacted Lori and sent her pics and info and she immediately said yes! We received pictures everyday of Hawkeye happily playing and being loved on. You can tell they truly love all of their guests and treat them like family. My two little boys came home and raved to my husband how nice Lori and Billy were to Hawkeye and us. About: I have had all sorts of pets growing up including dogs, cats, lizards, bird, and bunnies. I volunteer at the Galveston Humane Society and Galveston Bay Dolphin Research. I am currently retired so available anytime! Can respond on short notice. And work on holidays if needed. In addition to pet sitting I can water your plants and collect your mail. When I had my fur baby he would sleep with me and sit with me on the couch! He was my joy and a big couch potato. I will love and treat your fur babies as family!
About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8 years old and have cared for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. As a single mom to a 9-month-old, I spend most of my time at home, so I’m already in a routine that supports being present, reliable, and responsive to pets’ needs throughout the day. Pet sitting and drop-ins align well with my lifestyle, allowing me to balance school, parenting, and caring for animals without conflicting with a traditional work schedule. I’m able to incorporate feeding, playtime, litter care, and companionship into my day while maintaining a calm and structured environment. This also gives me the opportunity to do something I genuinely enjoy—caring for animals—while earning income in a way that fits my current responsibilities. I take the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet very seriously. I follow each client’s instructions closely to maintain their pet’s normal routine, including feeding, litter care, medication if needed, and any specific care guidelines. I approach each pet with patience and respect, allowing them to feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. I also treat every client’s home with the utmost respect. I keep spaces clean and tidy, follow all house rules, and ensure doors, gates, and entry points are securely handled. I am mindful of security and privacy at all times, and I leave the home as I found it or better. My goal is to provide reliable, trustworthy care so pet parents feel confident and at ease while they’re away.

“I would give Heather 10 stars if it were possible! We’ve boarded our dog on several occasions and it’s always been a tough experience because she doesn’t eat very well and has seemed depressed while we’re gone. Our experience with Heather was the complete opposite; our dog was content and happy the entire time, something we didn’t think was possible while boarding 😅. Heather was very communicative and sent photos and videos of our dog every day while we were away. Her facility is also very clean and well kept, and feels warm and inviting as opposed to the large dog crates we’re accustomed to with other boarders. Heather obviously loves dogs and we were so grateful that she took such good care of our dog while we were gone for 10 days. I can’t recommend her and her services highly enough, this was hand down the BEST boarding experience we and our dog have ever had.”

“Angelo is a wonderful Pet Sitter (from a human perspective). He is communicative with daily pictures and very responsive to questions. His home, yard, and set up are perfect for pets. He follows all of your requests even when you forget to send the brush. He doesn't take too many pets at once. He doesn't force them into cages. My dog came home happy and tired, which is a good thing because she was active. I only wish pets could speak and tell us about their experience!
