About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was born but I started counting my years of experience from when I moved out, got married, and had 2 dogs of my own that recently passed. We got them both when they were puppies and cared for them all the way into their seniorhood so I have experience taking care of puppies as well as elderly dogs. I work from home so I will be here to care for your pet the majority of the time (I’m happy clarity more in person). I hope to work with you and love on your pet soon! If at my house, I can watch your dogs here while I work from home. We have plenty of yard space if your pet likes being outside and if they don’t, I’m available to let them out anytime throughout the day. If at your house, it will just depend on the day/time and if I’m able to work from there. If I can I can just bring my laptop but if I can’t, it will need to be in the evening when I am clicked out. At my house, our dogs were mainly inside dogs so they were with me the majority of the day and anytime they needed to go out we let them. I will follow whatever feeding schedule needed; my dog’s food ranged from solid to soft food (our older dog had some teeth extracted and didn’t have many left) or a mix of both so I’m comfortable giving either. Water is usually always out for them to get when they needed it. Our smaller dog was allowed on the couch and bed and our bigger dog was only allowed on the couches here and there but was allowed on the bed. We did not crate them but I am familiar with crating. For other places, I will follow whatever routines/rules requested.

I don't have any special training other than having my own dogs who are obedient for the last 12 and 6 years. I'm a stay at home mom, of soon to be two children. “Our previous dog sitter moved out of state, so we were concerned we could find someone our boys would be comfortable with. However, Mercedes was a wonderful pet sitter. She went above and beyond. Our little chihuahua has cancer, and she made sure he had his meds, and was kept comfortable. She even took him to the vet when he had a medical emergency. Our healthy dog bonded with her and was her shadow. She provided regular communication, and pictures. We will be using Mercedes for our boarding from now on.”

They took them for long walks/to fetch each morning and allowed them to come in and outside for plenty of play throughout the day. Their home is very welcoming and inviting for both dogs and humans - they were unfazed by our pups jumping on their furniture and had plenty of comfortable places for our dogs to lounge and sleep. Susan was very responsive and sent beautiful photos. Most importantly, our dogs came home relaxed and happy - it was clear to us that Susan provided a stress-free, calm environment for them to thrive while we were away. He can be Fiesta (little dog syndrome), and when he got into a scuffle, she didnt hesitate to jump into action, fix my baby up, and let me know. The videos and pictures I received showed a happy, and playful Kilo and that means alot when I'm not used to leaving him with anyone. She was understanding and crazy nice. If she will have us again, I will definitely go straight for Aka!”
