They boarded my 4-month-old German Shepherd mix (about 50 lbs) and my 4-year-old Yorkie mix (about 7 lbs), which is not always an easy combination because they have very different needs and personalities. They did an amazing job making sure both dogs felt safe, comfortable, and loved. They were patient with my energetic puppy while also giving my older, smaller dog the attention and care he needed. I received updates and could tell my dogs were happy and well cared for throughout their stay. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I have a dog park right behind my place. I can bathe them if need be! If they stay over night they can sleep in the bed with me. Just like a kid , if you don’t allow something then nor will I ! I have pets of my own so I ask that your pet be UTD on shots and not aggressive what so ever. No pets that chew , unless you send them with their toys. If boarding please bring their bed and crate , for times I go to work. I work close to my house so they will still be let out during the day. I have grown up with show dogs that I use to show in the AKC junior handler conformation, my parents have had dogs that ranged from American staffordshire terriers, Bully breeds, Belgian malinois, French bulldogs, GSD, chihuahuas so I am very experienced with a variety of dogs since a very young age. I also have plenty of experience with reactive dogs as I own a reactive dog and have worked with numerous dogs who have special triggers. My routine is to wake up, let dogs out, feed/water them, dogs are usually fed from an enrichment toy (west paw, kong, slow feeder etc). My personal dogs and training client dogs start training an hour after breakfast for about 20-30 minutes then we play tug or go for a sniff walk for an hour while clients dogs are hanging out inside. Throughout the day I am rotating dogs from play areas to chill areas or outside so they have their own space and room to play or sleep. Dinner is around 6pm and is the same process as breakfast. House sitting routine- whatever routine your pup is on! I try to follow their routine as best as I can to insure nothing has “changed” for them :) I am force free and fear free professional pet sitter and trainer. Dogs that are crate trained can go in crates during down/chill time. With the dogs that are NOT crate trained or they have crate anxiety they will be loose inside the house with no crate time at all. Every dog is treated as my own and are loved as if they are the best thing on the planet (that’s because dogs are) I do not condone any violence or scare tactics used on animals.

About: I have been taking care of my dogs since I was a sophomore in college and now I am in graduate school. My dogs are my life and I treat them how I would any person. I am stern, yet gentle with my training, we go on daily walks and play time is all the time. I can show you better than I can tell you. My dogs are my daily routine. I get up at 7am faithfully and take both dogs to the restroom, then it’s feeding time, then it’s play time in the apartment, then it’s nap time. My dogs are on a strict schedule and love it. This is everyday, non stop until the right results are permanent. My apartment complex has a back yard fenced dog area. The puppies are safe and free to roam or run as they like and please.

About: what sets me apart is not only is this a passion for me i went to school for it. I feel like pet care services should be more accessible cause you know shit happens and having a good pet care system really changes things. Im from Chicago and im currently trying to become an exotic veterinarian or be within vet med sciences. I completed one step by attended fox college vet tech in chicago and trained animals on top of that specializing in fear and aggression. I’ve worked with banfield clinics and have done free service pop ups. i’m never gonna judge just want to be part of your pet caring team. I own pets so i understand all sides. I always follow the instructions given first to me first because every dog and every routine is different. tips and tricks can work for certain situations but at the end of the day, pet parent knows their dog best. How I personally take care of my pets is through getting to know their individual personalities and building a system that runs with my lifestyle, but also taking them to dog parks using plate puzzles to stimulate them, and personal time because, at the end of the day they are just as as much as aware as we are.

About: Since childhood my first jobs were taking care of family and friends fur babies. They are treated with loving care and compassion as if they were my own. There is a lot of flexibility in the services I can offer, just message me and ask. Currently I am working 50/50 from home. My schedule can change depending on the week of booking.
