“I asked Jonathan to care for my new 6 year old dog while on vacation. Jonathan agreed and the experience was absolutely the best. You see, my new dog, Andy had previously lived with a neighbor behind me and bc Andy is a fence jumper my neighbor had locked the dog in a cage his entire life. So he was not socialized or house broken until just the last 3 months since I took him to live with me, however I had given Jonathan as much info as I knew about him. Jonathan was so attentive with Andy he even made a special leash where Andy could run in his very large backyard but yet could not jump the fence. My biggest fear was he would run away but Jonathan sent me videos every day so I could see he was safe and happy. This was so comforting for me. When I picked up Andy he seemed a but confused which broke my heart bc I truly believe my new dog wanted to stay with Jonathan. I really think Andy had a great week staying with Jonathan and I will certainly call him again when I need a safe place for Andy to land for a few days or weeks. Jonathan is the best. Oh and Andy had his own spot on Jonathan's couch just like home.”

About: I have been grooming and pet sitting for 16 years. I own and operate my own dog grooming salon (Motown Mutts) . I regularly pull and foster from local shelters and have experience with frightened, nervous and special needs dogs. I have a ton of references and have quickly earned a reputation for providing excellent care in my area. My children were raised doing this and dogs that don’t normally love kids love mine because they speak the language. The dogs are very rarely left alone. My daughter is an LVT and handy for emergencies when I call. I can also groom them with advanced notice during their stay. We love our pet sitters like our own and become very attached to them. My babies usually run to my door and can’t wait to get inside. I am certified in emergency canine CPR and therapeutic massage therapy. The dogs will go to work with me daily unless I find the daycare experience stressful to them (older or nervous pups). I also have employees at my salon so they are available in emergencies The pups will be my pet while with me, we wake up at 4 am, have our meals and then head to the salon for the day to play. I don’t do a lot of playtime outside in the summer during the hottest times but we exercise in the evenings when it’s cooler. If there is an emergency I have staff willing to help out. I prefer no Sunday pick ups or drop offs because that’s family day

The patio is separated with a gate-door, so if we are hosting a dog they can enjoy at the same time with no problems. The extra room we have allows our guest/s to have their own room with their own window. They are free to walk through the house and make themselves comfortable.

About: I got my very own dog when I was 10 years old. Domino was a dalmatian and really just set the ball rolling for my love of all dogs! I have had at least one dog since, the most at one time was 4! We had Chihuahua named Pancho, Boxer named Pepper, Pit bull named Petey and a foster Mix named Ziggy! I would adopt all the dogs if I had enough space. I have dog sat for friends and thought this would be a great way to keep Hobbs social while still being an only child :) I currently work remotely and am available for 24/7 care in my home. I have one kennel but space for you to bring your own if your baby is more comfortable there. However, this is a dog friendly home so pups are of course allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed. About: I am a mom to 3 human babies and 2 babies with paws! Our pets are an important part of our family and I will give yours the same love as my own. I have lived with animals my whole life and understand what it takes to keep them comfortable, healthy and safe. Enjoy your time away and I’ll make sure you come home to happy animals! I am a stay at home mom to 3 awesome kids which keeps my schedule very flexible! Aside from getting my daughter to and from school I have quite a bit of free time! I have a fenced yard but prefer to be outside with the dogs when they are out. I don’t have a doggy door because I prefer to keep my cat inside!

About: I've had both dogs and cats since I was young. I have worked in vets, rescues, and animal shelters, and have experiences with animals of all ages. My schedule is currently completely open and available, so I am able to watch your pets any day of the week or weekend, at any time! I understand that pet owners know their pets better than anybody! So I follow the instructions exactly as they are given to me. I will give your animals the same love, attention, and care that I would want someone to give mine!
About: I dog sit regularly for family and friends. I take my boyfriend’s dog for walks, play, and take him for trips to the dog park while he is at work. The dog is a 50lb labradoodle, so I have experience with larger dogs. My roommates have a cat who I help take care of too. I have spent my whole life volunteering at animal shelters like the LASPCA, and I have a vast knowledge of dogs, cats, and small pets. I have had pets in each of these categories my whole life, and I would love to help take care of your buddy! I am a law student, so my classes are my priority. I am free weekends, and during the weekdays I have class to work around. I have multiple green spaces at my apartment or near my apartment. I would love to take dogs on walks around LSU’s campus or for a trip to the dog park. I have a spacious apartment with lots of free space for playing. I keep dog toys and supplies at my apartment for animal visits. If you have a cat we have scratching posts, toys, and plenty of supervised playing space. Our home is animal-proofed as well!

“I asked Jonathan to care for my new 6 year old dog while on vacation. Jonathan agreed and the experience was absolutely the best. You see, my new dog, Andy had previously lived with a neighbor behind me and bc Andy is a fence jumper my neighbor had locked the dog in a cage his entire life. So he was not socialized or house broken until just the last 3 months since I took him to live with me, however I had given Jonathan as much info as I knew about him. Jonathan was so attentive with Andy he even made a special leash where Andy could run in his very large backyard but yet could not jump the fence. My biggest fear was he would run away but Jonathan sent me videos every day so I could see he was safe and happy. This was so comforting for me. When I picked up Andy he seemed a but confused which broke my heart bc I truly believe my new dog wanted to stay with Jonathan. I really think Andy had a great week staying with Jonathan and I will certainly call him again when I need a safe place for Andy to land for a few days or weeks. Jonathan is the best. Oh and Andy had his own spot on Jonathan's couch just like home.”
