My favorite part about meeting new dogs is the opportunity to get to see their individual personalities and building their trust into my little human home. Im currently a student in the MPH program for NMSU. Currently my courses are 100% remote format and I work from home so I am constantly present. I enjoy taking my dogs to the dog park daily or keeping them entertained outside with music or a bonfire at night. My duplex home has an all around chainlink fence for the front yard and 10ft wooden fence for the backyard. It is very puppy proof with no holes, no wires or gas/power lines running through the bottom of the yard. I have 2 dog, a 6yr old red heeler mix female who is approx 48lbs and loves to chase and a 5.5 yr old male blue heeler full breed approx 44lbs who loves to fetch and chase little dogs. Both are medium sized dogs taller than a beagle but smaller than a labrador. Both are up to date on ALL vaccinations and gets nails trimmed bi-monthly.

We are a homeschooling family and I am mostly home during the day to tend to my pup. My children are gone twice a week and I am home all week long. As if they were my own. I enjoy spending time with them throughout the day, whether that’s relaxing together, watching TV, or simply keeping them company so they don’t feel alone. 🥹 I make sure to follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I also take time for enrichment and exercise, whether that’s playing outside, going for walks, or engaging them with toys. For pets who enjoy it, I also offer plenty of affection and cuddles, while always respecting their boundaries and letting them set the pace. About: I am young and active so I’m able to walk dogs for miles as well having the experience with unique breeds like an Alaskan malamute I wake up in the morning at 5 am to feed my dog and I take her out on a mile walk and sometimes run. I treat all dogs the same, I give them the love they need as well as play with them and give them belly rubs too.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all sizes. I currently own a German Shepherd and a Pitbull, so I’m very familiar with caring for larger breeds, keeping up with active dogs, and providing consistent daily care. I’ve also helped care for my sister’s Chihuahuas and cat, along with my aunt’s cats, two Pitbulls, and Yorkie. Being around so many different pets has helped me learn how to adapt to different personalities, routines, and comfort levels.
