I drove from Houston, anticipating driving back Sunday morning but things went south with a realtor and I found myself scrambling to reschedule tours to Sunday afternoon. My two anxious, always-by-my-side cattle dogs (y’all cattle dog people know what I mean) didn’t have a safe place to stay while I was looking at places, though. I very last minute requested a few hours of daycare and Alexa saved the day! The next challenging part is that my dogs are rarely away from me so they act a fool whenever they’re left alone in a new environment. Her boyfriend was so patient and understanding while I was dropping off my dogs.
