About: I’ve have always had animals in the household growing up, have never not, not had a dog or cat, find peace with animals. And love I currently work from home n only two days out of the week at another job, so I am pretty flexible with taking care of dogs. She asked thoughtful follow up questions during our meet and greet to ensure that she could mimic the routine my cats were used to as best as possible, and she kept my home neat and tidy and exactly as I had left it. She replied to messages quickly, and I appreciated that when the Rover app was down, she took the extra step to send updates and photos as a personal text instead. She was also very accommodating and was able to promptly adjust my booking dates when there was a sudden/unexpected change in my travel plans. Both of my cats took a liking to her fairly quickly and she did such a great job taking care of them while I was away! The Rover cards were brief (1-2 sentences for the visit summary and 1-2 photos per visit) and I would have liked more detailed updates and more photos but that was on me for not expressing so at the time of booking. Since then, he's been happy to go every day. Roy sends several photos throughout the day, which gives me peace of mind, and he's been super flexible with scheduling and timing. This statement coming from myself is not expressed lightly as I am the definition of a ‘crazy dog mom’. Naturally, I get high anxiety having to leave my pup behind during travel as I typically try and take her everywhere. Since moving to TX, it only took one stay with Kellie for me to realize that there is no one else I’d rather use exclusively to care for Storm while I am away. About: I've had a number of animals since the age of 4. From birds, and fish to Cats, dogs, and rabbits! I have always had a cat or dog in my home and I LOVE ANIMALS!!! I have house sat & boarded pets for 8 years now for friends, family, and neighbors. I treat them like my own and ensure that they're fed, get walked, lots of rubs, and everything I can to keep their usual routine! I'm currently not working and want to do something I love to stay busy. I have an open schedule to handle all your pets needs. I stay in a very spacious 3 bedroom home with yard space where they have plenty of room to roam. There are also parks near to release their energy. I currently have an open schedule. I always update my schedule to reflect any changes. I am very flexible at the moment. Once I have a pet job in place I try to focus on the pet/pets. It honestly depends on the animal. Different animals react differently with new people and different environments. If there's a shy dog, I like to let them come to me and lead with a gentle and dismissive approach. I would encourage them to play or come for pets, but I would not force it because that is not their comfort level. Another may be a big ball of energy and thrive on fun, pets, and praise. I like to make sure they're comfortable and happy.
