About: We are empty nesters that love our pets and have found it hard to find quality sitters for them. This has led us to open our home to pups that need a place to stay where they can be a part of our family temporarily. We work full-time during the week and are home in the evening and on weekends. My spouse works from home most days. Pets are fed in the morning and let out to play and then are fed in the evening and out for play time. Our backyard is fenced with a six-foot privacy fence. Our pets have full home access when we are home. All pets have access to water all day and are fed twice a day, We crate train our pets and do use crates for our puppy that is learning to be potty trained. All our pets are seen twice a year by our vet and get all recommended vaccines and are on flea and heartworm preventatives.

One of our dogs is newly adopted from the shelter and can be a bit skittish, but he warmed up to Dale right away. “Heather was an excellent pet sitter for my two kitties. This was my first time having someone watch my cats for me, I was anxious and nervous from hearing about other’s pet sitting nightmares. All of that instantly went away on her first check in! Not only did she comply with their feeding tasks, she also stayed and gave them pets/lovings and made sure their litter box and automatic water/feeder was good. I enjoyed every single update and picture she attached to the check in. Upon arrival my kitties were happy and in good health as I left them and I couldn’t have been happier with Heather’s service. About: I really do yall! Although I also love dogs and fish and birds, kitties do hold a special place in my heart. With the exception of of my boy cat Sherbie, who passed from lymphoma, my kitties have lived long and happy lives. My most recent two girls, Biggie and Nandie (Nandie is pictured with me here), were foster fails who I had the pleasure to know since they were just two weeks old. So some experience bottle feeding, and thankfully, many more years with them as seniors (although each of their eventual passings was very hard, which is why I petsit instead of adopting currently!) My girls both had special needs, including one with insulin-treated diabetes for the last 6 years of her life, so I got in lots of practice giving meds and taking samples for the glucose meter! I always made sure the litter box was cleaned at least twice a day, and water bowls washed for breakfast and dinner. One of their favorite things was “clean sheet day” which was our weekly people and cat bed laundry day (honestly I think they mostly loved anything warm and fresh out the dryer!) As mentioned in my main profile, I’m no disciplinarian lol! I do give as much affection and attention as they want, if they want, and if not, I give them space to be. I’m just happy and honored to care for them.
About: Our dogs enjoy taking walks. They help themselves to the doggy door anytime. When caring for others, we take them out the real door whenever needed. The couch belongs to the dogs. We have a small fenced yard and a large yard as well. We have plenty of leashes but may want to bring your own collar or harness for your dogs. The dogs remain separately kenneled when necessary because sometimes we have my sons male dogs as well. We rotate the crates many times throughout the day for each dog to get their exercise. We hope you will bring your dogs to see us. Thanks for considering me. I currently work part-time and have most days off completely. I am never gone too long to meet most dogs potty schedules. No dog is ever kenneled more than four hours a day. I have found that they are usually never in the kennel more than an hour at a time unless there are aggressive breeds here also during their stay and then the kennel time sometimes gets closer to the four hour mark, especially overnights. Rover dogs take priority at night times and are left out of kennel whenever possible. Putting dogs in a kennel when I’m my care is the last option. They live hanging with my friendly female dog and occasionally my sons two dogs. When any aggressive breed dog is in my care, I do rotate them in the kennels to prevent anything from happening.

About: I worked at a dog boarding center for a year. As well as taking care of family and friends animals before. I feel like I’ve had a way with animals since I was younger, even without trying animals seem to attract to me. I work a full-time job from 3pm- 11:30pm. I haven’t had too many worries with it interfering with dog sitting. Normally, I just feed the dogs a little early let them out to use the restroom and everything and then after work I take them on walks and get their energy out before we head to sleep. In my home, my pets get fed once a day but they’re on a pretty strict diet so we feed them lots of fresh meat and vitamins. I am an active duty military member so working with dogs offers a win, win situation for the owners, pets and me. The owners get peace of mind that their furry friend(s) is well taken care of, the pets get my unconditional attention, care and love and I get an opportunity to destress ( by doing drop ins where I feed, pet and play with the dog), and exercise. I can’t wait! I work about 5 minutes away from home so I often stop by throughout the day for bathroom breaks and play time. I also have the ability to work from home. I always treat pets and homes with cars and respect. Timeliness is included in said respect so I will ensure to be on time and prompt.
