About: I have two dogs of my own and I dog sit for friends and family. We have a small home but give plenty of out door fun all day long for those energetic puppies Weekends are mainly open for us. We would rather stay home with our pups then going out. If we do go anywhere our dogs are kennel trained. We will soon have a fenced yard but for now we use leashes for outdoor walks, runs and lots of play time to get that energy out of the puppies. Our dogs have their own futon and lots of toys to keep them busy indoors as well.

My Border Collie saved me as much as I saved her. I think dogs bring a "peace" to their human. About: I have over 8 years of training and care giving experience in over 20 different species of animals ranging from livestock to dolphins. My life has always involved animals. Growing up we had at one point 20 pets (chickens to an iguana). I continued and expanded my animal experience when I decided to pursue a Bachelors degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M-Kingsville. Equipped with my formal education, I started a career at the Texas State Aquarium where I learned how to train an array of species using operant conditioning focusing on obtaining desired behaviors through positive reinforcement. “This was my first time leaving Duke with someone and I was really worried he would not do well. We had gone on a meet and greet 2 days before and Duke got along well with Melinda and her 2 dogs but I was still apprehensive. When it came time to drop him off he jumped right out of the car and ran up to Melinda and her husband without hesitation and went right in the house ! Melinda kept me informed with pictures of Duke having a great time and I have to say Duke misses his new friends. About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs and am able to help train dogs in being potty trained. I am extremely caring for dogs and enjoy learning how your pet experiences their own life! I’m currently not working so my full attention will be on your pet. I will take your dog out at least 3 times a day and can even take them to fun spots if allowed. I have a gated community with a small doggy park. I have a friendly dog myself that loves meeting other dogs. I am completely understanding of your needs as well as your dogs.
