About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. About: We treat every pet like our own, giving young pets the play, patience, and structure they need, and offering seniors the extra comfort and gentle care they deserve. Whether your dog or cat is young, old, or in between, we're here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. My husband and I have a 4 year old Shiba Inu of our own (Tobimaru). We both work from home, so daily activities are morning and evening walks, indoor play, and backyard adventures when Toby is wanting outside. If a pet needs our attention, we are quick to grant that. Our fenced in backyard is well shaded, so it's bearable for heat or sun-sensitive dogs in the tough summers of Austin for their outdoor needs. Pets can have the run of the house - we have dog beds in nearly every room. Plenty of space for play inside, and a spacious fenced in backyard if they have the zoomies. We have plenty of room for crates if that is the preferred method of overnight rest for your pet. Our neighborhood has a great amount of foot traffic and dog walking, so we always feel safe in that regard.

I’ve watched my several of my friend’s dogs and they all get along great with Tendie! I love to play with energetic dogs and relax and snuggle with lazy dogs. Tendie is a senior dog who does very well with other dogs and mostly keeps to himself after he’s met another dog. I work from home so I can accommodate any special timing needs your dog may have. I can let a dog out in my yard anytime of day for bathroom breaks and typically go on walks around 4-5pm, but can adjust if needed. I have a fully fenced in yard and live on a quiet street away from loud traffic and busy intersections. I also have several rooms to separate any dogs if some alone time is needed.

About: Only taking dogs up to 25lbs in home at this time. I have been a pet owner and caretaker my entire 37 years of living. I can't imagine life without a fur (or reptile) companion. I previously worked at an animal surgical hospital and boarding spa for two years and I started a pet sitting business for 2 years in college - so I have experience with many different types of pets and temperaments. We do have a small dog and a cat - so if your pup is aggressive with other pets, our home may not the best fit. If you are unsure how your dog is around cats, we can accommodate a short term stay (1-3 days) where we keep our cat closed away in the back of the house, but we prefer not to do that for too long if possible. Dog walking and drop-in visits are only available in the Windsor Park / Mueller areas so I can stay close to home for work calls. My fiancé and I both work full-time from home and I usually do not leave the house for more than 2-4 hours a few days a week to run errands or go out to dinner. I can stay at home and provide constant care upon request. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around. We have a 4 year old Chihuahua/Schnauzer mix (Elwood) that hangs out with me in the office all day and an eleven year old cat who mostly stays in the back office with my Fiancé. I let Elwood out into the backyard multiple times per day. I do not leave pets unattended outside to ensure safety and I do not leave them outside for more than 15-20 minutes in the Summer heat. I love going on walks if they need a little more exercise! We have a beautiful, tree-lined neighbourhood with plenty of sidewalks. I am comfortable with any feeding or walking schedule needed. Let me know if your pup is not potty trained and I can gate off the large front area and remove our rugs, no issues.

“Wilson and Jessica are the best! They were attentive and really cared for my dog. Their dog, Winnie, was super friendly. I know my dog was happy to have a friend to play with for the week. They had a super spacious backyard, perfect for fetch! I was constantly getting pictures and videos of all the fun things they were doing throughout the day. Boomer is as excited as I am for his next stay. Can’t thank them enough!”
