Perfect for high energy dogs - North Austin
“Timmy had a great time with Valerie. She took excellent care of him and while he was there, she sent pictures of all the fun he was having at her home. He’s happily exhausted now and really enjoyed his stay. Thank you for taking such good care of my pup. ♥️”

About: Hello! My name is JJ and I'm a trail runner that decided to combine the two things I love the most: exercise and animals. I have been providing pet care for dogs, cats and other household pets full-time for over 8 years in Austin now. I am currently providing pet care full-time during the week and often have weekend availability. As a pet parent and a user of Rover pet sitters myself, I know how important good communication and reliability is when you are away from your pet family. I prioritize responding promptly to all booking requests and communication throughout the duration of booked appointments. This includes happily answering questions, sending updates and pet pictures of each visit. For me, communication, transparency and trust are key to having a worry-free workday or trip away! PET CARE: *NEW* Now offering boarding and doggie daycare. My partner and I purchased a house in North Shoal Creek and can now host up to 4 dogs. My partner, Josh Cross, is a software developer and works from home, so visiting pets will always have a human companion while I am away on walks and check-ins. I offer check-ins for dogs, cats and other household pets, to give them food, water, bathroom breaks, clean litter boxes, etc. If there is ever a package or mail by the door, I always bring it inside, as well. WALKS: If your dog(s) just need a potty break and some exercise, I’m more than happy to go for 30-60 minute walks. I typically use my own waist leash, but I can use your leash, if preferred, and I have a tandem leash attachment to take two dogs for an outing together, if needed. RUNS: For dogs that like to run, I can jog at your dogs pace for 30-60 minutes. Slow or fast, with water breaks, walk breaks, and potty breaks. On hot days, I prioritize finding the shadiest routes in the area and run in the grass when possible. For running dogs, I prefer them to wear a body harness or gentle leader, if available. *I offer a limited number of dog runs per day depending on daily volume.* My love for animals comes from growing up with a family that spoiled inside pets of many species and sizes. I cherished my own chihuahua, Zeus, of 14 years. Nowadays, I share a big, sweet super-mutt named Ozzie with my partner, Josh. I currently have weekday availability during traditional work hours, but I also have some evenings and weekends available. I don’t prefer to book recurring weekly appointments on the weekends. I regularly keep my Rover calendar updated and list the dates I’m out of town in my profile, in case I don’t have reception on vacation, usually a camping trip. I prefer to use a waist leash, which is safer and more secure than holding a leash in my hand. Please supply waste bags and any treats you would like me to give to your pet.
About: Hi there! I’m a mom of energetic triplets and a lifelong dog lover. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs in my home, often with a full (and happy!) pack of up to five pups at a time. I work from home, which means your dog gets lots of attention, cuddles, and supervision throughout the day. My kids are with me 50% of the time, and they absolutely adore dogs — lots of love, belly rubs, and a little spoiling guaranteed! We have a big, fully fenced backyard for plenty of playtime. If your pup enjoys adventures, I try to make it out to the Domain dog park a few times a week. We currently have two dogs of our own: 🐾 A mellow 16-year-old who likes to keep to himself 🐾 A playful 2 year old who’s crate trained and full of energy — but I always set boundaries to keep things peaceful and positive. This is a loving, safe, and dog-friendly home. Whether your pup loves to play or just needs a cozy place to nap, they’ll feel right at home here. Let me know if you have any questions — I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I work full-time from home and take my dog to the park practically every day and I have a pretty light workload, which allows me to give lots of attention to all my furry friends . I spoil them with attention and very good with paying attention to each dogs needs and personalities . My visitors get plenty of rest, routine and I cater to any diet, exercise, and training needs that owners have.
“Yujie is an incredibly responsible dog sitter. He made sure to take time to meet Monty beforehand, which helped us confirm they were a great fit and left us with a good feeling. During the visit, he took wonderful care of Monty and sent us pictures throughout the day! Monty clearly loved being with him and is eager to visit again soon.”

“Linda was a very responsive and convenient dogsitter, and took care of my dog Stella for a half day. She also provided many text, photo, and video updates which is appreciated.”

About: I have been a dog owner for 8 years and have experience with post surgery, administering medicines, and senior dogs for 2 years. I’ve watched my several of my friend’s dogs and they all get along great with Tendie! I love to play with energetic dogs and relax and snuggle with lazy dogs. I have a good sized fenced in yard for dogs of all sizes to explore and sniff to their hearts desires! I work from home so I can accommodate any special bathroom or other timing needs. Tendie is a senior dog who does very well with other dogs and mostly keeps to himself after he’s met another dog. I work from home so I can accommodate any special timing needs your dog may have. I can let a dog out in my yard anytime of day for bathroom breaks and typically go on walks around 4-5pm, but can adjust if needed. I have a fully fenced in yard and live on a quiet street away from loud traffic and busy intersections. I also have several rooms to separate any dogs if some alone time is needed.
“Casandra took great care of Niko during my day trip out of Austin. When I picked up Niko, he was happy and tired! Casandra made sure Niko got along with her dog Cory by having a meet-and-greet beforehand. She also updated me with a lot of photos from the day. Would definitely drop Niko off with her and Cory again! Thanks, Casandra.”

“Jeff provided excellent daycare for my Basenji, Pika. He was responsive to texts and has a friendly, positive personality. Pika had a great experience, which assured me to do boarding in the future. Thank you for taking good care of Pika!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether it’s belly rubs, outdoor play, or quiet company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy! Besides dogs, I love all animals! I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!
“Jen was great with my pup. Xena is a sweet and nervous around other dog; Jen was more than accommodating and took her time introducing her to the other dogs. On her second day she was fully part of the pack and I had a great time at puppy land. I would definitely recommend her services 10/10”

“I had a wonderful experience. I showed up completely forgetting my pup’s belongings and didn’t get a chance to drive home to grab his stuff. They were very accommodating and helped me feel at ease with text updates and photos. When I picked up my pup his tail was wagging and I could tell he had a good time. Will definitely use their services again! Thanks again for everything !”

About: I've had dogs for 12+ years and been the Go-To dog sitter for friends and family for all their pups! Young pups, senior pups, high-energy pups, or super chill pups, I love them all! I currently have a WFH job. I do go out in the field for a few hours a day, but that varies. Annie (my pup) go on two walks a day. About: We’ve taken care of dogs and cats our entire life, as well as Israel owning exotic animals. We know what it takes to care for puppies and adult dogs Danyelle and israel focus on pet care for most of their days. Israel does have a full time schedule that does shift on occasion. He is completely free of time on the weekends and anytime after 5pm. Danyelle is a stay at home pet parent who 100% focuses on the care and maintenance of the pups. She sometimes does run quick errands but nothing more than 2-3 hours to ensure potty breaks are given in a timely manner. We care for our pets with love. We feed them regularly and make sure they have plenty of water. We also love playing with big dogs. I take my parents dogs to the park to run around and release energy as well as playing fetch. We have a schedule of feeding everyone either together if possible or individually we’ll bring one in at a time to ensure no one is eating each others food and they feel comfortable enough to enjoy the food without issues.
“Leigh is a great communicator! You can tell she's very conscientious about her responsibility of caring for your dog. I trust she will let me know of any concerns that should arise during her time with my dog.”

About: I have been surrounded by animals and family responsibilities my entire life, and caring for others is a core part of who I am. Growing up in a busy, dedicated pet-owning family, I spent years helping look after my little sister and raising three different dogs across all life stages. My first childhood dog, Fonzie, sparked my deep bond with animals early on. Later, our second family dog, Crembo, was my constant companion from the time I was seven years old until she passed away fifteen years later. Caring for her throughout her senior years gave me immense, hands-on experience handling aging pets and maintaining gentle, patient daily routines. Today, our family dog Kiwi has been a huge part of my life since I was sixteen, keeping me fully dialed into the daily energy, habits, and exercise needs of active pets. In addition to dogs, my family has also kept fish tanks my entire life, giving me a lifelong familiarity with maintaining basic aquarium care. Beyond my own family, I have a proven track record of independent responsibility when looking after other people's homes and pets, including a wide variety of dogs, cats, and fish. For nearly three years during high school, a neighbor hired me to care for her dog, Splenda, almost every single day after school. I managed her afternoon routine for an hour or two daily, ensuring she got her exercise, fresh water, and companionship before her owner returned from work. This long-term commitment taught me the absolute importance of punctuality and consistency in an animal's life. Over the years, I have regularly house-sat and pet-sat for various people, which includes managing feeding schedules and daily care specifically for a close family friend's cat over many successful stays. These experiences often involved staying at properties entirely alone overnight or managing them independently during the day. Because of this, I am highly adaptable to different home security systems, household rules, and unique pet personalities. My background working as a camp counselor and professional bartender also adds a strong layer to my reliability. I am deeply accustomed to high-trust environments, handling unexpected situations with a cool head, and maintaining strict organizational standards. Working in hospitality means I am naturally obsessed with cleanliness and organization, closing down spaces spotlessly, and keeping environments completely neat and tidy. I am fully accustomed to managing daily household chores and handling a property responsibly while owners are away, treating every home with the exact same respect I give my own. I recently relocated to Austin and I'm in the process of picking up part-time bartending shifts, which works out well for both of us — I get the time, and your pet gets someone who's actually around. I've got a sweet dog, Kiwi, back home, and I've missed having that kind of company since moving, so I'd love having a pet around again. My schedule is wide open — I'm available every day, any time, including weekends. Most of my days are spent job hunting, settling into the city, and just being around the house, so I'm home and available a lot, not squeezing visits in between other things. If your pet wants extra walks, more playtime, or just someone hanging around keeping them company, I'm happy to make that part of my day. I treat every client's home and pets the way I'd want mine treated. Since I only provide care in your home (house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking), my focus is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space, and that your home is exactly how you left it when you get back. Household Security & Care: I'll double-check doors and gates, make sure the alarm's set, bring in mail or packages, and keep things clean and tidy the whole time I'm there, like you never left. Safety on Walks: Dogs stay securely leashed, and I keep an eye out for other dogs, traffic, and Texas heat on the pavement. I'm also a bigger guy, so if your dog's a puller, gets nervous in busy spots and needs to be held close, or just needs a lift now and then, even a big dog, that's genuinely no trouble for me. Routine & Health Monitoring: I'll stick to your exact feeding, medication, and exercise routine, and I pay attention to how they're acting, eating, and moving so I notice early if something feels off. Communication: You'll get daily photos, a quick note on how walks and meals went, and a fast reply whenever you reach out, so you're not left wondering how things are going.
“Roxy has been a great dog walker for us. She’s always reliable and easy to communicate with, and I feel comfortable knowing my puppy is in good hands. My puppy loves her and gets excited every time she comes by. After their walks, she comes back happy and tired with all that extra energy out, which makes a big difference. Really appreciate how consistent and caring Roxy is. Would definitely recommend.”

“Francis was reliable, communicative. and made a good impression when we met once briefly. My dogs looked happy in the pictures he sent me. If I need dog care in the future, I’ll contact him first!”

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up and have been caring for dogs the past several years. I’ve taken care of family, friends and neighbor’s pets. Reba and I love animals and would love to care for yours when need! We also know ASL! I currently have extra time to help care for dogs in need of walking, sitting and boarding. I like taking my dog to the dog park a few times a week as part of our routine. I have a dachshund mix who loves to play, socialize and she’s well behaved. We like going to different dog parks but mainly go to the Domain Central Park.
“Michelle was great! She was quick to reply to our booking request, patient with our slow and stubborn little guy, fed him dinner for us on her walk visit, and left thorough feedback for us in his Rover card. Big thanks!”
About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, fish, and small animals like guinea pigs. I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life—from raising my own dog from 8 weeks old to caring for senior dogs with more specialized needs. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy working with high-energy dogs, making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to stay present, maintain routines, and give pets consistent care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also prioritize clear communication and provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is something I intentionally structure my day around, not something I fit in when I have time. Since I work remotely, I’m home and available throughout the day, which allows for consistent walks, playtime, and attention instead of long gaps alone. I live in a large home with a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe, easy access to the outdoors for breaks and fresh air. I still make sure they get proper walks and activity based on their energy level—it’s not just yard time. I adjust my schedule to match each pet’s routine—whether that’s higher activity and stimulation or a calmer, more predictable pace—and focus on keeping their day consistent and low-stress. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, structured, and low-stress environment. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and downtime—so the transition feels as natural as possible. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor breaks, along with regular walks and playtime based on their energy level. I’m home throughout the day, so they receive consistent supervision and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, medications if needed—and make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar space. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean, and provide regular updates so owners know how their pet is doing. In both settings, I focus on being attentive, reliable, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.

About: Hi! I’m a dependable, compassionate pet sitter who treats every animal as if they were my own. I understand that pets thrive on routine, familiarity, and calm energy—especially when their humans are away. My goal is to make your time away as low-stress as possible for both you and your pet. I’ll treat your baby as I would want my own furbaby cared for. I have a flexible non traditional schedule that allows for daily walks and lots of snuggles. I have a sweet small dog that loves new friends. I have a fenced in yard and one small terrier mix that loves to play, is neutered, and very sweet to others. I am comfortable with administering medications if needed. I love to give my dog and others pets exercise if/when desired or needed.

“Our pets absolutely loved staying with Israel! They were well taken care of, and we got many great pictures and videos during their visit. We will definitely be booking here in the future.”

“Arfa was amazing!!! She was super accommodating with a last minute request and change when I had an unexpected work trip. She was super communicative the whole time and my dog Tux seemed so happy! She sent so many pictures and made me feel so much peace of mind after moving to a new place where I don’t know anyone. I’m going to book her for more services for sure!”

“Daniel was the perfect sitter for our little Milly! It was our first time having someone else watch her and we were super nervous about leaving her with someone else, but Daniel ended up being the perfect fit! He didn't have any roommates or other pets which was a HUGE plus since our girl is super anxious and doesn't do well with others. He sent daily pictures and was very responsive when we messaged him. It warmed my heart seeing my anxious girl laying next to him and sleeping with her belly up. I am beyond grateful for him and would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a dog sitter. I will definitely be asking him to watch her again next time! Thanks again Daniel!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Jason and Cassandra! They took such good care of my dog, Petra. They were extremely communicative and prompt, sending me photo updates every day of what Petra was up to and how she was doing. I wouldn’t hesitant to use their services again. Thank you both so much!”

“Eddie & his wife were absolutely AMAZING! They sent tons of photos & updates, took Brewski for a walk & I know he was well taken care of as if he were their own! My dog had such a blast with Eddie’s family (including their dogs)! HIGHLY recommend & will definitely use again in the future!”

“Penny came back home very happy & in great spirits! I can tell she was very well taken care of. Great communication and lots of pictures from Rebecca too! Would definitely book again. :)”

“Brendan helped me out when I needed last minute care of our Frenchie. He was flexible with plans and a good communicator. From the pictures, it looked like Ace enjoyed his stay!”

“Nick was awesome! Super helpful when we needed it, very attentive to the details, and willing to send us a few extra photos over our trip. You won't have to worry about your pup if ya book with him!”

“We were taking a 2 week international trip and wanted to make sure our dogs had the best care while we were gone. Ashley did a fantastic job of taking care of them, giving us the cutest pics and videos, and checking in. They came back to us better dogs than when they went in!”

“George has the best time while at Sarah’s for 10 days! Sarah sent us daily updates with photos and videos. George can’t wait for his stay again in the future!!”
