“Erika did an excellent job watching after our Peppercorn. Regular photo and video updates and our dog had plenty of other dogs to play with throughout her stay.”

“Aimee was great as always with our little fluffball. She went above and beyond to take care of Coda as well as provide a fun, playful space for him to play with other fur pals who also joined him during the holiday. Coda is definitely missing his fun crew for sure! Until next time!”

“I always feel so comfortable leaving my dog with Marissa. I have a senior pup, and she is great about giving medication, texting me with updates, and providing the extra attention and care he needs.”
“This was our 1st time booking with Jen. After our initial meet and greet, I could tell she was going to be a good fit. Jen was amazing with our little senior dog! She took such great care of him. She kept him active, curious and happy. Her photo and video updates were super cute and appreciated. He got along just fine with her small dogs and made new friends. Jen is such a dog lover and her attention and care for them are really impressive. I’m so glad we found her.”

“I haven’t used Rover in a while as I have a regular sitter now, but the rare time they are unavailable I was quite nervous coming back on Rover again. I’m SO glad I found Sam on here! He was so responsive, made sure to provide me consistent updates and followed my instructions perfectly. Petey (my dog) absolutely enjoyed staying with Sam, I could tell - so I will be using his services again.”
“Eddie was phenomenal with Kai. Kai can be pretty high energy but Eddie was great about finding time to take him out on walks even during a Rainy weekend. Felt super comfortable having Kai stay at their house for the weekend with all the great pupdates. Would definitely book with Eddie again in the future”

“This was my first time using Rui with our two dogs. This has been an overall great experience for her services. She was overly communicative and gave daily updates on the dogs. Would use her again in the future.”

“Denise was excellent! She took Waffles in last minute when I was in a pinch and sent me several photo updates. I was afraid Waffles wouldn’t want to come home! Highly recommend Denise!”

“I had the best experience with Wilson and Jessica! They were super communicative, and made me feel great about leaving my dog with them for 5 days. I got tons of photos and felt reassured that she was cared for and loved. Highly recommend!”

“Lilia is an amazing dog sitter! She sent tons of pictures of our pups playing, walking and cuddling. They looked so happy! When we got them back they were in great moods and we could tell they’d gotten enough exercise. We would have Lilia watch them again anytime!!! Thank you, Lilia!”

“Joel gave daily updates on my dogs and was sweet about doing slow introductions with my dogs and his cats. Very communicative and’s easy to work with for drop off and pick up. It also helps that he works from home because my dog can be quite anxious and I also appreciate that he only watched my dogs, so I didn’t have to be nervous about what may happen with other rover dogs as well. Will book again. Thank you Joel!”

“Sarah is great! She was communicative and took great care of my dog. I got daily updates and photos of them playing, lounging and snuggling. Knowing my dog was safe and being cared for while I was away was great peace of mind.”

“Christine & Colin were great! We got lots of pictures and updates, and and they took the time to get to know her personality and needs. All of which gave us great peace of mind!”

“Cheyanne was amazing with my dog Courage. She was so kind and patient with him since it takes him awhile to be comfortable with people. They seemed like best buddies by the end of his stay. I can’t thank Cheyanne enough for taking such good care of him.”

“Ashley was awesome! Our dogs had a blast on their vacation. They even sent us photos sleeping in the big bed. We were happy to be reunited but they were so sad we ruined their party. Next time we have to go out of town without them hopefully Ashley's schedule is available because they would love to hang out with their new friend Carter again as well as their doggie sitter Mom.”
“Barbara took the absolute best care of my dog. This was my first time using Rover and I was definitely a little apprehensive to leave my previous baby with her but she is an experienced dog sitter and made my dog feel right at home. I also greatly appreciated all the pics she sent me everyday. Highly recommend Barbara!”

“Super responsive during pre-booking. Great communication during boarding. Easy drop off and pick up. Convenient, central location, too. Our pup came back happy and healthy, couldn't ask for more!”

“The best Rovers in Austin. They always go above and beyond with their care, and I have absolute trust in letting them watch our pup. I will always choose Cassandra and Jason first, if they are available!”

“Another great stay, Navi was so happy when we dropped her off! Navi always looks like she’s having fun in all of the cute photos and Jin provides detailed updates. We’re really glad to have found Jin and her family!”

About: I have been taking care of pets - my own and others'- since I was 13. I have done everything from brief check-ins on pets while their parents are out of town, to staying with the animals for several days - feeding them, playing with them, and ensuring their wellbeing and comfort. I also have two dogs of my own, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Yorkshire Terrier. My Yorkie is an elderly, blind, small dog so I have love and experience with differently-abled and elderly dogs. As a student on summer break, I have a very loose work schedule, so my time is very open to care for your pets! I'm more than willing to wake up early for morning walks, check ins, and/ or feedings and generally free days. I cannot offer pet care in my own home as my two pups are hesitant about new friends, however, I am more than willing to travel! If entering your space, I will ensure to treat it with respect and the standards you establish, respecting both your home and your pets as if they were my own.

“Jen took great care of my little best friend! He was excited to arrive and meet the dogs of the house and they were excited to meet him! It is immediately obvious that Jen is a bone-a-fied (pun intended) Dog Person!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, personalities, and energy levels — from playful puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and comfort. I understand that every dog is different, and I always make it a priority to help them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I am currently a college student with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to focus on walks, drop-ins, play sessions, and quality care for your pets. I’m dependable, attentive, and always happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I’m especially mindful of dogs who may feel nervous in new environments or around new people. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, and needs so they can feel as relaxed and happy as possible during our time together. I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special needs. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment, and I make sure pets are always supervised. I’m attentive to behavior and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel confident your pet is in good hands.
“Great experience overall. Aimee is personable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she watches. I feel safe leaving my dogs with her and will definitely be coming back!”

“I really appreciate Mo getting me in last minute to take care of my new pup and adult dog. They where friendly and happy to bring both my dogs in for the day and where able to accommodate my busy schedule. When I picked my dogs up they had just gotten back from a walk and where excited to go home. Thanks for the help.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether it’s belly rubs, outdoor play, or quiet company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy! Besides dogs, I love all animals! I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!

“my pup received good care and a trip to the park. she came back healthy, happy, and excited. jennifer is a happy, kind, responsible person. i would book with her again in a heartbeat!”

“Elizabeth and Adrian were absolutely amazing with Nala! From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in great hands. They were caring, attentive, and made sure she felt comfortable and loved throughout her daycare stay. Nala had an absolute blast, especially making a new furry best friend, Niki! It was so heartwarming to see how much fun she had playing, socializing, and coming home happy and tired after a full day of adventures. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of our girl. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’ll definitely be booking with you again. Highly recommend Elizabeth and Adrian to anyone looking for kind, trustworthy, and loving pet caregivers!”

“David was great for daycare with our dog! He responded promptly, took care to understand our dog's needs and was provided us with photos and updates throughout the day. He also provided us with a framed portrait of our dog at the end of the day, which was an awesome gesture. Would highly recommend David for doggy daycare or boarding!”

“Caroline did an amazing job caring for our puppy, Millie. She has a large yard space too that Millie enjoyed. Will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!”

About: I have about 10+ years of experience in care. I’ve been dog sitting since I was about 15. I have a lot of love to give, and I personally crate & potty trained my dogs. I’m currently a full-time student, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I spend most of my time studying from home, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I can’t wait to meet your babies! 💕 I live in a pet-friendly apartment with plenty of walking areas nearby. I take dogs outside regularly for potty breaks, walks, and playtime, always ensuring their safety and comfort during every outing.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. I have always been the go-to with friends and neighbors to take care over night, walk or drop ins. I grew up with 3 dogs at once and from there have always had one of my own until recently with my job! I travel time to time for work, so owning one now isn’t in the cards. Being on Rover is the best of both worlds for me. I currently work from home, and have the flexibility to leave when needed. I wake up early for the gym, or a run, so if your dog likes running or needs a walk early in the morning, I can definitely do that as well. I live in an apartment, and it is very dog friendly. There are areas where other dogs are, if you are okay with that. I can wash the dog as well.

About: Hi, I’m Ashley and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 14 years, starting with my two Maltipoos, whom I’ve had since high school. They’re now happily living with my parents, but caring for them from puppies through adulthood taught me a lot about providing consistent, loving care and understanding each dog’s individual personality and needs🐕❤️ I also recently fostered a 3–month-old puppy for two weeks, helping with his daily routine, care, and adjustment while finding him a loving forever home. I especially enjoy spending time together and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their families are away. I am a housewife so I’ll be spending most of the day with your dogs. I also don’t have children or pets at home, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m available throughout the day and can be flexible with different routines and schedules. I live in a secure apartment building with controlled access and security in the lobby. My balcony is always kept locked, so pets cannot access it. I’ll leave the house to run some errands for few hours, so if you dog uses a crate/kennel when left unattended, please provide one for the stay :)
“Marissa was very attentive to our puppy. She went out if her way to talke extra care of her, gave her medicine and always walked her and sent us picttires. She was very responsible and easy to work with”
“Kristina took excellent care of both of my dogs, they came home happy and tired from playing! I would definitely trust Kristina with them again. Thank you so much for your care and attention to them.”

“Denise was so amazing with Finley. Sometimes he takes a while to warm up to people, and within an hour he was sleeping on her lap! We will definitely be using Denise again-- she has a way with animals.”

About: Does your dog love daily adventures, or would they rather curl up and relax? Either way, my husband and I would love to be the ones they spend their time with while you're away. We both have flexible schedules, so your dog gets our real attention throughout the day, not just a quick visit here and there. We grew up with dogs and have experience walking, running, fostering, and boarding all kinds of pups, from the ones who want to play all day to the ones who just want to be near you on the couch. We're dog people through and through, and we treat every dog who stays with us like part of the family. Send us a message and let's set up a meet and greet, we'd love to meet you and your pup soon! My husband and I both work from home with flexible schedules, so pet care fits naturally into our day. My mornings are wide open for long walks, and I have plenty of availability throughout the day for outside breaks and playtime too. I love being active, so getting to do that alongside a dog is honestly one of my favorite parts of the day! Your pup gets full freedom in our home, with plenty of couch cuddles and a safe, relaxed space to settle right into. We love getting outside to explore the neighborhood together, and I always match the walk to your dog's pace, whether that's a slow, easygoing stroll or a longer walk to burn off some energy. I'll send regular photo updates throughout the stay, so you can relax knowing exactly how your pup is doing and feel good about your time away.

About: I’m a real estate agent so my schedule is super flexible! I just love spending my extra time with cute dogs and cats. Animals have been a huge part of my life since I got my first dog at six years old, and today my three cats happily run the household. Friends know me as the person who ends up spending more time with the pets than the people, usually on the floor doing what we jokingly call "pet yoga" with whichever dog or cat wants to join. I have a special soft spot for rescue animals, senior pets, and those who need a little extra patience and understanding. I've supported local rescue organizations for years and even helped transport animals for Austin Pets Alive during the Texas floods. Whether your pet wants adventure, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I’m a real estate agent so my schedule is flexible! I’m an early riser and as a life long Texan, I don’t mind the middle of the day summer heat. Having worked with rescue animals and senior pets, I'm comfortable moving at each animal's pace and paying attention to the little details that help them feel secure and stress-free.
About: I have been taking care of pets - my own and others'- since I was 13. I have done everything from brief check-ins on pets while their parents are out of town, to staying with the animals for several days - feeding them, playing with them, and ensuring their wellbeing and comfort. “Kody was great. Came for a meet and greet and seemed genuinely interested in what Theo’s needs were. Arrived for Theo’s walk on time and sent a few photos and a nice update. Was kind and considerate with all of our instructions as we have a lot of concerns due to Theo’s size and medical history.”

About: I've never met a dog or cat I can't win over. I meet them at their pace, never pushing unwanted interaction onto them. I have volunteered and fostered for multiple shelters. I have experience administering medicine, grooming, and bathing. Currently working part-time, so I'm relatively free to look after pets. I am also a morning person, and I don't mind getting up early to check in on and walk someone's baby, especially with how hot it is right now. I will follow your guidance on your dog or cat's care in your household to a T. I want to alleviate the stress an animal may feel meeting a new person by sticking to their usual routine.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs all my life. I have experience training sight-guide dogs. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, bunnies, and birds before. I currently work 5 days a week Sunday-Thursday from 2-10pm, so on those days so your pet will have about 8 hours alone **with the exception that Wednesdays I work 9 hours**. After work and the weekends, I love taking pets out on walk/doing enrichment in the home when I am with them! I live on a second floor apartment so your pet will need to be able to go up and down stairs. I have 1 bedroom with a good amount of space and sun spots for them to play and lay out.

About: I was raised with a full house of almost eight dogs of varying sizes as well as a few being blind. As such, I learned at a young age just how important it is to specialize each dog’s care plan based on their own specific needs. Im currently a full time remote college student, which allows me be available at all times of day when needed without the restrictions that come with college. I value a clean and sanitary environment. Having been raised around dogs, I understand all too well how they can get into things they shouldn’t and as such take great care to be cautious of anything that may be a potential hazard such as food having been left out.

“Lily is AWESOME!!! Justice (my precious dog), was anxious when he first met her, but Lily was extremely patient and SO VERY loving and gentle with him - Needless to say, Lily quickly won him over!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ❤️”

About: I've always had dogs in my life. I grew up with smaller dogs in my family, but when I moved off to college I didn't have as much time around them. It honestly took a minor toll on my mental health, because I actually believe dogs are the key to happiness. Once I moved to Arlington and my roommate had a dog (a medium sized), I knew I needed to surround myself with more. And what better way to get to know the community than to take care of the most important part of it! Working remotely gives me the incredible flexibility to make pet care a seamless part of my day. While I work a standard 9-to-5 schedule, my job allows me to easily step away from my desk whenever needed. Whether that means taking your dog out for a mid-day potty break, going on an afternoon walk to burn off some energy, or giving a cat some quality cuddle time, I can accommodate your pet’s exact routine without delay. When I take on a pet sitting commitment, that work becomes my top priority. My flexible remote setup means I’m present, attentive, and available throughout the day - giving your pets the companionship and supervision they need so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away. Whether I’m hosting your pet at my home or caring for them in yours, safety and trust are my top priorities. My own space is fully pet-proofed, safe, and secure for hosting, while in your home, I treat your property with absolute respect, adhering strictly to your house rules, routine, and security preferences. On walks and during yard play, I stay 100% focused on your pet - maintaining a secure grip on the leash, monitoring weather and pavement conditions, and actively avoiding potential hazards or unfamiliar dogs. Building trust starts with clear, reliable communication. I make a point to send frequent updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. From double-checking fence latches to keeping strict safety routines, I take every precaution to give you complete peace of mind while you're away.
About: I spent more than a decade loving a very large, very opinionated German Shepherd named Ruta through epilepsy, severe allergies, endless medication schedules, and his senior years, so “high-maintenance” pets don’t scare me. I tend to love them even harder. These days I’m supervised by Edwin, my mini Aussie rescue, who has strong opinions about other dogs, delivery trucks, and apparently several completely innocent squirrels. Living with him has made me very comfortable with boundaries, reactivity, slow introductions, and the fact that not every dog wants to be everybody’s friend. I’m also the person who genuinely wants the six-paragraph document explaining exactly how your dog likes breakfast. Give me the quirks, the routines, the medications, the weird little rules, the favorite toy, the thing they absolutely will not do unless you ask them in a very specific way. I want to know all of it. Basically: I take your pet seriously without taking myself too seriously. And yes, I will probably send you too many pictures. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can usually work around your pet’s normal routine. Walks, meals, potty breaks, meds, couch hangs; tell me what they’re used to and I’ll do my best to keep things consistent. Tell me everything. What’s their routine? What makes them nervous? Are they an escape artist? A sock eater? Do they lose their mind when a skateboard goes by? How are they on leash? I’m big on respecting a pet’s boundaries and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I’d much rather know about a quirk or trigger ahead of time than be surprised by it later.
“Meg was absolutely wonderful with Mika. She clearly loves animals and was patient with my senior dog. She was communicative, reliable and sent cute pics. Greatly appreciate her!”

About: Dogs and cats have been beloved members of my family since I was a child. I enjoy being outside and am mindful/respectful of Texas heat. Most days I enjoy a walk and it would be great to have a fur-baby companion. I have a flexible schedule and many times am available on short notice. I make sure dogs are comfort with me before moving forward. Trust must be built with respect and patience. The response of the animal communicates their level of trust.

About: I've taken care of stray cats. When I moved to Austin, I decided to pet sit. I had great experiences with pet sitting cats and dogs. I enjoy taking care of cats. I enjoy walking dogs. I keep communication with pictures and updates. I know it's important to take care of your lovely fur babies! I do pet sitting for fun! I have started petsitting, besides the stray cats I used to take care of. I am able to drop in during noon or after 5 pm. I am also able to housesit. I have pet sit for almost 60 days on another app! I am a reliable pet sitter. I am a solo sitter. I am caring, responsible, and neat. I like to leave things the way you left them, and I do a great job at cleaning up after myself. If there are any house rules, I follow them!
“Heidi walked our dog for 4 days while we were out of town. I absolutely recommend her because she genuinely cares for each furbaby as if they were her own. She asked a lot of questions during her initial meeting with us and even took down her own notes. She was on time for each walk, gave detailed updates and sent a picture for every walk. I can tell she really cares and really made the extra effort to make sure my baby was comfortable and happy while we were away.”

About: Aside from having my own dog for a few years, I’ve grown up around family dogs and always loved to help take them on walks, feed them, and play with them. I’ve also had a few pet sitting jobs while my neighbors are on vacation, and help with the dog’s daily needs. I’m going into my last summer before college and do not currently have a job, so this will be my main side hustle before going off to college! Most of my days are free, I would say I’m busiest in the evening around 6-8 when I usually go to the gym. I will be flexible and attentive to the dogs needs and plan to maintain a safe calm environment whenever I come to pet sit! I will make sure to keep the pets happy and the house left clean!

Petey (my dog) absolutely enjoyed staying with Sam, I could tell - so I will be using his services again.”

“The best Rovers in Austin. They always go above and beyond with their care, and I have absolute trust in letting them watch our pup. I will always choose Cassandra and Jason first, if they are available!”

“Zoe and David are the best! They give my dog lots of TLC and keep me up to date of how he is doing. I always know Tucker is in the best of care whenever he stays with them.”

“Alice was amazing! She was very thorough, sent check ins throughout the day, and was very responsive! We had a brief playdate prior to make sure our pup Beaux got along well with her pup Corrah. The next day at drop off, Beaux happily went with Alice giving us a peace of mind that he felt happy and safe with her! Beaux clearly loved his time with Alice and Corrah. We will definitely be working with her again!”

“Alison was very welcoming of my dog. Even after my dog was a bit of a bully to her sweet dog during the middle of my trip, Alison still had mine playing and having a wonderful time. She sent pictures and a video of the dogs playing while I was away. Great communication.”

“This is the third time Mo and her husband have taken care of Molkas. He comes back very happy, and it’s clear they take great care of him. They are also flexible and attentive. We’ll definitely leave Molkas with them again.”

“Madeline was a great sitter. My little girl was nervous and not too happy with me for leaving her for a week but Madeline did everything she could to make Olive comfortable and happy. She was communicative and responsive. By the end of Olive’s stay she was feeling right at home! Thank you!”

“Ace loves staying with Amy and her lovely dog Coco! This time while I was away for a week on an international work trip. She is fantastic at sending regular pictures and updates.”

“Aine communicated frequently and sent lots of pictures, videos and updates. Their dog is very friendly too and their home has a nice big yard for the dogs to play.”

“Trevor was a wonderful sitter for our dog with some unique special needs. He treated her like family and we felt she was left in great loving care. He was attentive and patient, great at communication, and a gem to work with. We are lucky to have found him.”

“Priscila did such a great job with Milo! She was very communicative, sent photos, and made sure Milo felt right at home (he’s naturally a pretty anxious pup). Would absolutely recommend!”
