I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!

Whether your dog or cat is young, old, or in between, we're here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. My husband and I have a 4 year old Shiba Inu of our own (Tobimaru). We both work from home, so daily activities are morning and evening walks, indoor play, and backyard adventures when Toby is wanting outside. If a pet needs our attention, we are quick to grant that. Our fenced in backyard is well shaded, so it's bearable for heat or sun-sensitive dogs in the tough summers of Austin for their outdoor needs. Pets can have the run of the house - we have dog beds in nearly every room. Plenty of space for play inside, and a spacious fenced in backyard if they have the zoomies. We have plenty of room for crates if that is the preferred method of overnight rest for your pet. Our neighborhood has a great amount of foot traffic and dog walking, so we always feel safe in that regard.

About: The bigger, the better! I love giant breeds. Until 2023, I had a Great Dane (Cajun), and one cat, Yoda. I lost them both within a week of each other because they were so bonded. I have fostered both dogs and cats, making sure that they go to homes where they will be loved and cared for. Each animal has had specific care requirements and I understand that yours will as well. I’m a teacher, so I work from home in the summer doing freelance work. I can be home as much as each animal needs. I’m accustomed to animals being part of the family and sharing the furniture, the bed, and the foot space. “jessica and Wilson always make us feel confident that they will take care of our dog Izzy. There were thunderstorms and she gets very nervous but they sent us a photo of them comforting her. Their dog Winnie is very friendly and provides a great opportunity for play for Izzy and their backyard is perfect for that. Highly recommend!”
