About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I’m very caring and give them a lot of attention. We live in a house with a large fenced backyard. If you live in the London area I’m the one to care for your dogs when you go out of town. I help take care of our family dogs. I take them outside for exercise, and I help feed and clean them. When I’m relaxing on the couch they like to sit with me. I work Monday through Friday from 12 to 3. That is the only time they would be alone. And my mom is usually home during that time. I’m very gentle with dogs. I like to sit and read with them beside me. I’m good at keeping a schedule for feeding and medicine.

About: I’ve had two Siberian huskies growing up from age 4-18 and now I have two dogs of my own. One husky mix that I’ve had since she was 10 weeks and she is the absolute love of my life, and I also have a Great Pyrenees, so large dog breeds are not a problem for me. I love and give my all to animals and I hope you can trust me into the care of your fur babies. I also love cats and have two of my own. I consider my pets my kids and I would consider yours my kids as well and would only offer the best care. I can also assist in training puppies if you have one that you need help with as I’ve housebroken and done basic training with several puppies of all different breeds. About: I've been around both cats and dogs since I was a baby. We only have cats in our home, but one day, I'd like a dog too. My husband and I currently have 3 cats. I have been involved in the rescue community for years, saving dogs and cats and having them sent up north for adoptions. I have the patience required to care for all kinds of animals! I work as a dog groomer during the day, and I can bring my dogs to work with me because we have kennels separating each dog. I am off all day on Sundays. I am extremely patient when it comes to caring for my pets and others’ pets. I am extremely skilled caring for aggressive and timid dogs. One of my dogs has arthritis and hip dysplasia, so he is on constant medication and steroid injections. My other Pomeranian has urinary problems and anxiety, especially around any loud noises, so I have to be extremely patient when she wakes up at all hours of the morning when she is having an anxiety attack. One of my cats also has an enlarged heart, so he is on medication everyday for the rest of his life. But, I wouldn’t change them for anything in the world. Their traits and quirkiness makes them each special in their own way and I look forward to taking care of your pets and learning their different personalities! I work as a dog groomer during the day, so I am allowed to take my pets or my boarding dogs with me to work. We do not allow the dogs to interact for safety reasons, so each dog has their own large kennel. This way your fur babies are not left home alone all day, everyday. I have a fenced yard and friendly pets. I have a two bedroom home with a large living room area. If your dogs are not good with other dogs or cats, I can keep my pets in a separate room while giving your pups the space that they require to feel comfortable and safe. We allow our pets on the bed, so if your pup likes cuddles- there’s plenty to go around! I keep my pets as well as my boarding dogs on a strict schedule when it comes to eating and meds because consistency is key! I try to send pictures and videos every few days so that my clients can have peace of mind while their pups are being boarded and enjoy their trip! I also have cameras all over the inside and outside of my home so that if I am away I can constantly check on my pets and yours.
About: In addition to living with dogs at home for years (Newfoundlands and labs) I have spent the past few years pet sitting with Rover and fostering with my local animal shelter. I’ve worked with reactive, anxious, and high energy dogs- taking the time to build strong bonds so they can be successful! I am currently a PhD student with gaps between classes and work! This allows me to stop by before and after classes depending on your pet’s needs. I am active and able to take them for runs/walks, to the park, or play outside if that is most comfortable for you and them. I’m comfortable taking them in my car which has a backseat cover and seatbelt so we can go on adventures as well.

“This was my first time leaving Duke with someone and I was really worried he would not do well. We had gone on a meet and greet 2 days before and Duke got along well with Melinda and her 2 dogs but I was still apprehensive. When it came time to drop him off he jumped right out of the car and ran up to Melinda and her husband without hesitation and went right in the house ! Melinda kept me informed with pictures of Duke having a great time and I have to say Duke misses his new friends.
