“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. He took amazing care of my Maia, every picture and video showed her so happy with her tail wagging like crazy. He walked her often and loved on her like she was his own. About: I have been a passionate pet owner for the last 20 years, as well as a veterinary assistant, foster/rescue advocate, and trainer. There is always someone home when there is a guest pet present, and they are given access to the same amenities that we enjoy- comfy furniture, plenty of safe places to play with close supervision, toys for enrichment, and a clean place to do their "business". Our own dogs have been very well socialized and enjoy the opportunity to interact and play with new friends of all sizes and species. They are excellent with dogs of all sizes as well as cats and exotic pets. I know that routine is very important for some pets, and that disruption of typical routine can cause anxiety. Because they're is always someone home, we can follow care instructions closely to try to emulate the routine that your pet is familiar with. Our home is just shy of 2,000 square feet on 3 acres and has a large fenced back yard for potty and play. Pets will NOT be left outside unsupervised at any time. We do have a covered patio in the back yard as well for shade, and will provide cool, fresh, clean water outdoors during supervised playtime if outdoor play is desired. Indoors, guest pets will have access to our kitchen, dining, and living space. All flooring is hard for easy mess cleanup, and for easy puppy potty training. Off limits sections of the house (ie: storage room, bedrooms when unoccupied) will remain closed or gated. Pets will sleep in our room with us when directly supervised. Our indoor environment is air conditioned and remainds approximately 70-74 degrees year round. Our home is in a wonderful edge of town peice of property that is easy to access from the main highway and far enough from neighbors to be very peaceful. There is a subdivision with nice sidewalks with light traffic residential streets for plenty of leashed walking less than half a mile down the road. There is also a large park nearby. Plenty of exercise can be provided for pets that need it, and I love being outdoors myself. I am currently a stay at home dog and kid mom so I have plenty scheduling flexibility to accommodate things such as medications and potty training I have a fenced yard for free running and play and all of my dogs are crate trained for their safety in case it is needed either with client dogs or for another reason

About: I have had two dogs throughout my entire life. One of them is a younger German Shepherd, and the other one was a 15 year old Shi Tzu. I am able to walk dogs for as long as needed. I can play with and take care of dogs that have a lot of energy. I also can care for dogs who are sick and need to take medication, for I had to do this with my Shi Tzu for about a year before he passed. Although I have not yet pet-sitted professionally, I am very knowledgeable when it comes to caring for and loving all different types of animals, especially dogs! About: I dont have any special skills at all I have a huge love for dogs and always have Im very patient with meeting new dogs and attentive to their attitude I am currently on medical leave from work and doing physical therapy throughout the week. Pet care is something I am able to do at any time during the day and week. I can supervise the pups while they play and get to know each other, I am able to go outside and throw ball with my dogs which is awesome I can do more than just supervise them while they play!

About: I grew up with a lot of pets so I have always been taking care of animals since I was little, and I love it! I am currently an online college student, so I am home basically all day! This allows me to be able to spend a lot of my time with fur babies! I have two cats of my own that I care for dearly. They are always running around and playing with all their toys and their cat condo. I love going on walks so I would take dogs out on walks regular. “1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. “Can’t say enough about how wonderful Richard is! He helped me in a short notice pinch and was so kind. He took amazing care of my Maia, every picture and video showed her so happy with her tail wagging like crazy. He walked her often and loved on her like she was his own. If that wasn’t awesome enough he came to the rescue again when my flight was extremely delayed and kept Maia for an extra night. Richard is an excellent communicator with frequent updates so I was able to enjoy my holidays stress free. He has a heart of gold and I will definitely use him again. “I am a basket case when it comes to leaving my dogs for vacation because I don't trust anyone to pet sit in my house or feel assured that they would take care of my dogs the way I would. I'm a big believer that pets are members of the family. Their comfort, their health, and minimizing their level of stress are important to my wife and I. In the past, whenever I make reservations for vacation, I expect them to be with my kids and NEVER IN A KENNEL OR FACILITY with other stressed out barking dogs. They are my babies!!! I need to give a big SHOUT OUT to Mary's pet services because MARY IS AMAZING. My dogs are welcomed into her home, an environment with a professional handler (i.e. Mary) plus interactive kids who love the dogs! I couldn't be happier leaving my babies with them again and at short notice. Also, the price was reasonable. Another rocking 5 stars for Mary's pet service. Under Mary's care, my pets were not only safe, but my mind was at ease (especially with my 17 yearly grandma dog). Priceless.”
