And after much begging to my mother, we rescued my childhood dog from a humane society shelter in Ft. Worth, TX, and the rest is history. My first pet sitting experience, at the age of 6 (under the supervision of my mother), is one I won't soon forget. The neighbors had tasked me with watching their cat while they were away. The only problem was that they had forgotten to leave us a key to the apartment. Times like this one taught me to be quick on my feet in emergent situations. In the end, we were able to secure a key, and the cat was safe and well cared for. Over the years, my experience grew immeasurably, and even included a long standing stint as a "dog nanny" when her dog mom and dad vacationed. About: I am a work-from-home (dog) mom. I have two Australian Shepherds, who I have raised since they were both 8 weeks old, so I have experience with very high energy dogs/puppies. About: I've been around dogs literally all my life! From arriving home from the hospital until March 2015 I've always had at least one dog in the home. After my dog's passing I had to fill the void left by his absence so I decided to care for other dogs. I'm very energetic and active and would love the opportunity to provide love and care to your pet during your absence. I prefer to keep your pets routine as consistent as possible to their current schedule so I will ask about their feeding times and preferred activities. ● DAYCARE - 7:00AM - 7:00PM Early and/or late drop off/pick up times are subject to additional fees. ● BOARDING - Drop off as early as 7:00AM (or a pre-arranged earlier time as I try to accommodate individual needs as early as 5:00 am and such) with pick up within 2 hours of the drop off time on the day of departure. Pick up times outside of the 2 hour drop off will most likely result in a half day or rate or full day rate as Rover.com automatically calculates the rates. ***Arrangements can be made for different boarding needs such as later arrival for which a later pick up time on the departure day would be appropriate. I'm super flexible and can most likely accommodate last minute changes and unforseen circumstances. I want to minimize any worries for you and your fur babies. ❤️🐕 Rest assured that your dogs safety and security is a priority. Also, crate trained or the ability for your pet to be crated is preferred (exceptions can be made) to ensure your pets safety while unattended & to reduce the likelihood of any harmful events occurring. I am home full-time but there may be instances where I may need to run a quick errand, shower, etc. that may require for me to be away for a short time. When I'm at home your pup will have access to roam freely throughout the space.
About: Hello! I'm Alexis. I've owned animals all my life. I signed up for Rover to be able to help people care for their dogs. I can provide all basic care and love them like they're my own. I have years of animal experience with dogs and cats as well as wild animals. Right now I am currently working full time so I can only accept pets that are ok being dropped in on either early in the morning or late in the day! However my schedule does change so feel free to reach out! I would like to keep your pets routine as similar as possible to their routine with you! Any favorite spots your dog likes to walk to or specific meal times will be noted and followed

About: Hi! I’m a local mom living on a mini farm in Goodlettsville with my husband, son, two dogs, and ten chickens. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and we spend most of our days outside exploring, playing, and staying active. My son absolutely loves animals and is a wonderful little helper. He accompanies me about 90% of the time, so if your dog or cat prefers a child-free environment or isn’t comfortable around kids, please let me know and we can discuss whether we’re a good fit. We love getting out and doing fun activities, whether that’s neighborhood walks, playing in the yard, walking to coffee, or even taking your pup on an adventure to a dog park (with your permission, of course!). If your pet prefers a slower pace, we’re equally happy to provide snuggles, backyard or indoor playtime, and companionship at home. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’ll treat your dog or cat like one of our own—with plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and updates while you’re away. We have a sweet newborn baby so I’m home 24/7 to be with your pup giving treats and snuggles and making sure all their needs are met. We have a fenced in front yard waiting for your pup to explore! We also have two friendly dogs for your pup to play with!

About: I am experienced in pet sitting! I have many friends who I’ve pet sat for as a favor and have always loved animals. I also have a cat at home and have grown up with both cats and dogs. Would be happy to help you with any of your pet needs! I am a stay at home mom with a 2 year old. He is in school part time so I have plenty of availability to come at a moments notice to help with any of your pets needs. I am very respectful of my clients and their space. I am engaged and helpful with the pets and even clean and organize while I’m there (if requested). I am a mom, and pet mom, so everything I do comes from a place of consideration and love.
