About: I grew up in a dog loving household, and as the oldest child, had a very helping hand in the care and training of our dogs. We now have a Goldendoodle named Truman who lives full time with my parents, but loves to come for lengthy visits when they travel. My boyfriend and I have a dog together - Nala - who is a sweet Shepsky mix. She can be an anxious girl, and doesn’t always love other dogs, so I have gained a lot of experience in helping her get comfortable around strangers. I also have experience with all ages of both cats and dogs (big and small). Entrusting me with your pet means that they will safely receive cuddles and playtime and you will receive lots of pictures and updates. I am a nurse by day, but have been cutting back on my hours. On my days off, I am extremely flexible. My schedule reflects the days I have available for a drop in or to walk your pet! At this time, I will be caring for pets only at your home. Our dog takes a lot of warming up to other pets! I am open to having the pets in my car for a trip to the park or a walk or hike!

About: I've been around dogs literally all my life! From arriving home from the hospital until March 2015 I've always had at least one dog in the home. After my dog's passing I had to fill the void left by his absence so I decided to care for other dogs. I work from home full time so I am flexible in providing daily exercise, frequent potty breaks, and outdoor time where they will be closely monitored. I do have a large back yard that is fully fenced in. I prefer to keep your pets routine as consistent as possible to their current schedule so I will ask about their feeding times and preferred activities. ● DAYCARE - 7:00AM - 7:00PM Early and/or late drop off/pick up times are subject to additional fees. ● BOARDING - Drop off as early as 7:00AM (or a pre-arranged earlier time as I try to accommodate individual needs as early as 5:00 am and such) with pick up within 2 hours of the drop off time on the day of departure. Pick up times outside of the 2 hour drop off will most likely result in a half day or rate or full day rate as Rover.com automatically calculates the rates. ***Arrangements can be made for different boarding needs such as later arrival for which a later pick up time on the departure day would be appropriate. I'm super flexible and can most likely accommodate last minute changes and unforseen circumstances. I want to minimize any worries for you and your fur babies. ❤️🐕 Rest assured that your dogs safety and security is a priority. Also, crate trained or the ability for your pet to be crated is preferred (exceptions can be made) to ensure your pets safety while unattended & to reduce the likelihood of any harmful events occurring. We have a sweet newborn baby so I’m home 24/7 to be with your pup giving treats and snuggles and making sure all their needs are met. We have a fenced in front yard waiting for your pup to explore! We also have two friendly dogs for your pup to play with!
About: I have been volunteering with and advocating for animal welfare since I was a teenager. I have my own pets and I actively volunteer at an animal sanctuary in NE Tennessee. Your pets will be loved, safe, and cared for. I have a leadership position at my job and my days are flexible. I am generally able to leave work to walk and return. I live in Nashville. I have two dogs if your pet needs company. I can also leave them at home if need be as I have a very trusted roommate who I will split rover funds with. One of my dogs is elderly and VERY well behaved and the other is about seven, loves to play, and is also very well behaved. I am familiar with crating, training, and need for routine. I can administer most types of medicine. I even had to give my pig injections when he was sick!
About: Ever since I was little, I’ve had an irresistible urge to stop and say hello to every animal I see, whether they have paws, feathers, scales, or hooves! I often joke that one of my biggest regrets is not becoming a veterinarian, but caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am.🩷 Being around pets genuinely fills my heart with joy. I love getting to know their unique personalities, making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their humans are away. About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember! I grew up with Airedale Terriers and started caring for other people’s pets early - from neighborhood dog walker in middle school, to go-to pet sitter in college, and eventually an experienced Rover sitter. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, along with cats, small animals, and even a chameleon. My own three dogs have expanded that experience even further. Maia, my beagle and soul dog, has seizures, chronic elevated liver enzymes, allergies, a time-sensitive medication regimen, and a customized diet. Her care involves multiple veterinary specialists, and she’s been through emergency surgery, specialty dental care, and most recently a liver biopsy. Because of her, medications, special diets, navigating complex care plans, and noticing subtle changes are very familiar territory. Willow, my timid rescue who went from foster to family came to us fearful of nearly everything (ceilings and shadows being the scariest) and she didn’t even know what a bed was. Since then, we’ve been learning brave together, slowly discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be safe. She’s taught me so much about reading body language, encouraging without pushing, and recognizing when a nervous dog simply needs patience and space. I have a huge soft spot for shy and fearful dogs, especially the ones who make you earn their trust. Ghost, our senior pitty, has given me plenty of experience with big personalities, sassy attitudes, and high energy dogs. He recently was diagnosed with cancer and had a tumor removal followed by particularly complicated wound healing, so prolonged recovery, wound care, medications, and activity restrictions (even when they don’t want it) have become familiar territory too. Between the three, I’ve worked with very different dogs with very different starting points, training and routines. I’m happy to maintain established commands, boundaries, and training for consistency, or follow a more relaxed routine if you prefer simply keeping your pet safe, happy, and loved. I’m here to follow what works best for your fur baby! 🤍 Professionally, I spent seven years as a critical care nurse and I’m now an ICU nurse practitioner. Human and veterinary medicine are very different, but detailed instructions, precise schedules, noticing subtle changes, and staying calm when something unexpected happens are second nature to me. Most importantly, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of Rover. Please give me the detailed instructions, medication schedules, fears, quirks, and weird little things only you notice — I genuinely want to know. I’d love to meet your pet exactly where they are and care for them the way I’d want someone to care for mine 🐾 I recently moved to Nashville and have a little over a month before starting my new position, so my availability is currently wide open! I’m naturally a night owl, so early mornings, evenings, and unconventional hours don’t scare me 😂 My goal is to fit into your pet’s world, not expect them to fit into mine. I’d love to learn their normal routine, household rules, training, favorite things, fears, and what makes them feel safest, whether that’s cuddles and constant companionship or simply being given a little space. I’m especially aware of environmental safety, medications, dietary restrictions, doors/gates, and keeping tempting objects away from curious mouths (my beagle has taught me well 😂). For nervous pets, I’m happy to slow things down and let them decide when they’re ready to interact. If you have established commands, boundaries, or training in place, I’ll maintain them for consistency. Your routine stays their routine. ❤️
About: I love caring for animals and discovering their unique personalities. My whole life I’ve always had a cat or dog living with me, whether it be mine or my roommates. Making sure they know they are loved and safe is my top priority. I am an Assistant Director in the film and Television industry, during my downtime between jobs I have an ample amount of time in my days. With dogs I work hard to build a level of trust between me and the pup. Consistency and repetition is key for me. Each dog is different so it takes some effort to get to understand them.
