I really wanted him to stay somewhere where I knew he’d get some love and attention. Amber & Lavar made me feel so at ease and comfortable at the meet & greet. About: I grew up always having pets in my life, including cats, dogs, and small animals, and I’ve been caring for animals for over 25 years. I also lived on a farm for three years, which gave me hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and their different needs. My mom was a vet tech, so our home was often full of animals she brought home to care for, including dogs, cats, a goat, and even a fawn. Over the years, I’ve also helped with pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and cared for while their people are away. About: I have 5 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 4 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. You, my customer are more than welcome to come into my house and yard and meet myself, and my dogs.

About: Fun fact I used to be afraid of animals until I was about 12. Now I have 4 cats and have owned 6 dogs over the years. I have trained 3 of them to a basic degree and also own a snake. I love animals of all kinds and more often than not they warm up to me instantly! I am interested in summer work during the off season and am available most days almost anytime with some exceptions. I prefer mornings to mid afternoons but am very flexible! Standard house sitting includes overnight care plus daytime absences up to 4–8 hours depending on the pets’ needs. I also offer constant care for houses and pets for a custom rate depending on the individual and pets schedule! Since I have 4 cats and a human I cant board pets at home. But I have no issues staying over a night if needed, and can easily House-sit, Dog-sit, and Cat-sit in the greater Franklin area!
