“We were so fortunate to find Pam and utilize her dog-sitting services (our first time to use Rover as well). It had been a while since we had boarded our two "girls", and we had a lengthy vacation in Europe planned. We connected with Pam through Rover and conducted a site visit. Great property and set-up for dog-sitting, and it was comforting to meet Pam, learn of her experience keeping pets, and were assured by her confidence and comfort level in keeping pets. While on our trip, Pam provided timely updates and photos of the girls, and even alerted us to a potential health issue with one of them. We had a great experience using Pam and highly recommend her!”

“I couldn’t be more thankful for Isabell and her lovely family! They were incredibly flexible and accommodating when I needed a dog sitter for my dog, Phoebe, on short notice. Their communication was excellent throughout, keeping me updated and giving me peace of mind. Phoebe had an amazing time at their place and came back happy and well-cared for. Highly recommend Isabell to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Gabbi and Justin were fantastic with my senior dog. They cared for her so well, they were absolutely wonderful to communicate with and went above and beyond for us. We will definitely book with them again!! Thank you Gabbi and Justin for an outstanding experience.”

“We are so thankful for Candice and Matt, and their sweet children, for giving our two pups a fun, safe and loving vacation home while we were out of town! One of our pups has a severe allergy and Candice and Matt were very comfortable and had experience with how to handle a potential issue, which really put our minds at ease. We knew our pups were in the best hands! They also sent updates and photos every day, and we were so happy to see our pups running around their beautiful yard and fitting right into the family. We absolutely recommend Candice and Matt to care for your furbabies!”

“I am late in leaving this review but I wanted to share how much we appreciated the care and love shown to our “Blue” while he visited Crystal. We received multiple daily updates as well as some gorgeous photos of our beautiful dog. This was our first time leaving him at a sitter’s home and we were a little anxious until we met Crystal and saw how thorough she was and how great she was with him. It was our first time to have her care for Blue, but hopefully it will not be the last. 10 out of 10!”

“Chelsea and her family including the pug pack are absolutely awesome. Zoey fit right in and got to be part of the pack. Phenomenal care, communication, and lots of pictures. We are already booked for the next sleepover at PugCamp. Thanks for the peace of mind :).”

“Jessica was amazing. She was so sweet and Billy had a great time playing with friends in her amazing yard! She gave special attention to Billy’s puppy needs and took care of him over Christmas with her amazing family. Billy had a great time and we will definitely be taking him back to her in the future!”

“Adrienne took such good care of our little Ralph, she’s super sweet and kept me updated the entire stay. It’s been rsi ing and she made sure ti keep his coat clean and brushed him. Thank you and your family so much for spoiling him with cuddles so he didn’t miss us!”

“Lavar and Amber took such great care of Juno for us. It was such peace of mind to know that she was being cared for. we will definitely use them again!”

“Edward & Margarette were so great! Drop off and pick up were smooth and their home was clean and perfect. They sent updates daily and were very sweet while sitting - the communication was great! Would def recommend them and rebook with them in the future!”

“We are so thankful we found Deborah. Our pup had the best time and came home so happy. Deborah sent regular pictures and updates and made us feel at ease that our girl was being taken care of :)”

“My dog loves his stays with Kaitlin and Brent! As soon as we pull up to their house, he is so excited to get out of the car and see all his friends. They are very communicative and great sitters! I definitely recommend them!”

“We have been using Maggie and Michael for years now. Our dog loves their family and is always so excited to spend time with them. They take such great care of our dog when we’re gone for extended periods of time—they treat him like part of the family!”

“Once again! I can’t say enough great things about Melissa. Our dog loves to visit and play with her dogs. I always feel like he’s knowing that she’s taken care of and having fun!”

“Jill is fantastic! I am a first-time user of any pet sitting service, and I am beyond satisfied with Jill's caring for my two cats. I left detailed feeding and cleaning instructions, and Jill did everything I asked. I highly recommend Jill!”

“Alishia is a great neighbor and dog sitter! I highly recommend. She was communicative the whole trip and made sure my dog was fed, had time to potty, and even some cuddles. I felt my dog and home was safe with her visiting when I needed her. Even when my dog fell sick, she went the extra mile to keep me posted and checking on her. I’m glad she is local to Chapel Hill and will be using her services again.”

“Cassy was WONDERFUL! She was diligent about our specific ways we take care of our cats and spent a lot of time with them which was really nice (our cats are very social and hate when we’re away). We usually are stressed every time we go out of town, worrying about our cats with whoever is watching them, but with Cassy we didn’t stress at all! She was trustworthy, respectful and a total professional! Plus our girls loved her! We cannot recommend Cassy enough! She is definitely the person we’ll be calling every time we have to go out of town!”

“Danielle was so good, I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again and will recommend her every chance I get. She went above and beyond in her drop in visits and had such a great attitude. My shy kitty really loved her!!”

“Katie did a great job with caring for my 2 male cats for a week. One of my cats had been recently diagnosed with a medical issue. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Katie was staying at my house & frequently checking up on him.”

“Grace is wonderful and caring and kind with your animal. She went above and beyond to make sure my Lily felt comfortable and safe on her first stay away from home! Outstanding job!!!! She kept me updated and she knew how to handle a grumpy kitty!!!! I just loved the environment of their home - perfect for kitties and puppies to have a staycation!!!”

About: Hi! I’m a high school teacher who teaches culinary arts. At home, I have a golden retriever, Saffron and a Labradoodle, Leo. I live on 2 1/2 acres, one of which is fenced in and perfect for furry friends to run and play! I am a teacher and gone from 7 am to 3:30 pm, but my parents live next door and watch my animals when I am away. Growing up, my brother had a service dog who was part Great Dane and part Black Lab. He became part of the family! I think that’s what started my love for animals. Since college, I’ve had at least one pet. While in Culinary school, I worked long hours. For Christmas, I got my cat, Basil. She was at the door with a “meow” at the end of long days in the kitchen. When I began my career as a culinary teacher, I bought my first house with a back yard and almost immediately added my girls, Sage and Sketch to the household! I work full time as a high school teacher. but live next door to my parents who watch over my pets. They love them as if they were their own! I have an acre, fenced in back yard. My dogs love the country, running and playing in the back yard! They are house dogs, but love the chance to run as much as possible.
“Madison exceeded all expectations! Our regular pet sitter had an unexpected emergency right before we left on a two week trip, the longest we’ve ever been away from our two fur babies. Needless to say we were devastated and left scrambling to find a reliable and trustworthy substitution. Madison did a meet and greet beforehand to explain her qualifications, answered any questions we had, and made sure to thoroughly understand the expectations of what we needed done to ensure peace of mind for us. She provided extensive details for us everyday and sent cute pictures of our animals so we could get a glimpse of how they were faring while we were away. She really takes the time to get to know the animals and it is reflected in her outstanding work ethic how much she truly cares. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone needing a sitter. Thank you Madison for providing excellent care for our babies, you made our vacation that much more enjoyable knowing there was once less thing to worry about back home!”

“Very happy with my service! Katie was quick to respond to any questions that I had. I received daily check in notifications and pictures of my kitties and house that put me at ease while I was away overseas. Thank you for the great, consistent service! I would gladly recommend Katie and will call upon her again. Thank you!”

“Mickayla did a wonderful job! I will definitely ask her for her services again if we are to go out of town in the future. She was very communicative, reliable, helpful and professional. She made sure that we felt totally at ease while we were away for a few days. She took pictures of our cat each time she dropped in, which was definitely an extra perk. You can tell that she has a great love for animals by the excellent care that she gives to them. We were so pleased and grateful that she could help us care for our cat, Cleo, while we were away. I cannot say enough good things about Mickayla!”

“I can't say enough good things about Michelle. This was my first time using rover to find a day care for my pup and it was the best experience possible. Michelle took in my pup Fyve for the day last minute and when i had a change of plans she boarded him for the night with no problems. He had a lot of friends to play with and a great fenced in yard to run around in. Michelle is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Fyve is still a pup and Michelle gave me some great tips on how to train him and correct a few of his bad habits. Thanks you Michelle.”

About: I have fostered over 250 amazing dogs, mostly seniors and special needs, so I have experience with most any medical or behavioral care. I have had dogs ages newborn to 16+ in my care, so I have experience with all the life stages. I have experience training dogs of all sizes, from 5 pounds to 150 pounds. I believe that my calming presence around animals set me apart to earn their trust. I am home nearly 24/7 and spend most of that with my personal pets or farm animals, so being with your pet would just be added into my routine. I have a fenced in yard. About: With over two decades of experience in canine care, I've cultivated a deep understanding of dog handling and care that empowers me to make a positive impact. Starting as a 10-year-old caring for neighbor's dogs with twice-daily walks, I've consistently demonstrated reliability and dedication. Growing up with Golden Retrievers and now sharing my life with a standard size Goldendoodle named Penny, has not only strengthened my love for animals but also taught my children the value of compassion. My family, including my husband, two children, and I, along with Penny, are committed to providing your dog with constant companionship, attentive care, and a nurturing environment. Having trained dogs in basic commands and upheld the highest standards of pet care, I'm confident in my ability to unlock the full potential of your dog and provide exceptional care. Hi my name is Katie. As a full-time homemaker, my schedule allows for seamless integration of pet care responsibilities. Given my consistent presence at home, managing a routine that includes our current pets - a goldendoodle and a turtle - along with caring for our two children, is quite manageable. Consequently, incorporating additional pets would not significantly impact our existing schedule. I have a spacious yard of nearly an acre, which is not fenced. However, I am happy to walk your dog on a leash if required. My own goldendoodle and two children will ensure your dog has a fun time, and we have a variety of toys available. Additionally, if your dog requires solitude, we can provide a quiet space. During summertime we will have doggy pool available for your pup to cool off in.

About: My name is Hannah, but I go by Mikki. I have had pets since I was 15 years old and they have ranged from cats, dogs, and the exotic! I have a serious love for all the different types of fur-babies and am a proud pet parent myself! I’m the purrfect fit if you love someone enthusiastic about animals and their care, someone who is strict with rules and restrictions, and someone who is flexible! I have worked in a pet boarding type facility in the past and carry much experience wrangling dogs of all sizes and in all group sizes, with all different types of personalities. I also have a dog and cat myself. My daily schedule involves me waking up and letting my dog out while preparing their breakfast. After they eat, we get some snuggles in until it’s time to go potty. Later on, it time for dinner and then a nightly walk 30 minutes to an hour after dinner has been served. That ends our adventure for the day! For Drop-Ins: I stop by for feedings and enrichment for between 30 minutes to an hour. I make sure they care squared away and everything is locked up before I leave. For Walks: It’s simple … we just go for walks. 30 minutes to an hour or whatever set path and time per appointment. For House-Sitting: I set a time for me to come over. I stay for the duration of the appointment set and bring my own necessities so that I don’t have to leave the premises. I stay within your home, where your babies are most comfortable, and provide them with company and a set schedule. Before I confirm a booking, I will ALWAYS set up a meet-and-greet. I need to be able to sit down with the fur-babies and parents so we can get a good view of the vibes and to see if I would be a good fit. These meet-and-greets are NOT OPTIONAL and refusal will result in a CANCELED BOOKING! Sitting should be a comfortable experience for pet, pet parent, and sitter. Checking the vibes and getting details is critical for success.
About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember — growing up, my family had dogs, turtles, birds, rabbits, and lizards, so I'm just as comfortable with cats and small pets as I am with dogs. I also attended a high school built around animal care, giving me formal training on top of a lifetime of hands-on experience. On top of that, I'm a college graduate, which taught me the same things animal care requires: personal responsibility, patience, and attention to detail. I treat every pet like it's my own: same routine, same patience, same attention to detail every single visit. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have a flexible schedule with steady availability throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and extended stays. I always confirm exact timing with you directly so visits fit your pet's normal routine. Since all my visits happen at your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, securing doors and alarms exactly as instructed, keeping to the routine you've laid out, and never deviating from your pet's normal environment.

About: I grew up on a farm so I’ve taken care of various animals through my life. I have a fur baby of my own named Dixie, she’s a 9 year old Red Heeler/Mountain Cur mix. I’ve worked with many different types of dogs, varying in all ages & breeds. Specifically with reactive dogs because of Dixie, but I am also knowledgable in puppy care/training, senior care, and can administer medications such as; pills/liquid medications, eye drops, and ear drops. I have minimum experience with injectable medications. I’m in between jobs right now so my availability is pretty open Sunday-Saturday! Please don’t hesitate to contact me anytime with questions or concerns about a specific time that’s convenient to you! I live in a shared home where I can’t have other pets so sadly I can’t bring your pet into our home. However, I am available to stop by your home to give your pet some extra freedom & love! I’d love to bring Dixie along but she was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma and is easily triggered. If you have any special requests, rules, routines, or accommodations for your pet & home, please let me know! I look forward to brightening yours & your pets day!

“Adrienne took such good care of our little Ralph, she’s super sweet and kept me updated the entire stay. It’s been rsi ing and she made sure ti keep his coat clean and brushed him. Thank you and your family so much for spoiling him with cuddles so he didn’t miss us!”

“Serenity has been an incredible dog sitter for our senior dog, Molly. She watches her for extended periods and always provides the most loving, safe, and comfortable environment while we’re away. Molly has elderly-dog needs, and Serenity is so patient, attentive, and accommodating to them. It gives us such peace of mind knowing Molly is so well cared for and genuinely loved in our absence. We are beyond thankful for Serenity and highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate pet care!”

“Michelle is amazing!! Our dog requires a lot of care, between his meds and the attention that he needs I was a little worried. Honestly, Michelle is super professional, he had a chart with Gordo’s meds, and prepped treats to give it to him, she send the cutest photos, and had great communication. I’m so thankful for her. Gordo certainly had a great time.”

“Kayla and Trevor are honestly the best! They send lots of pics and give updates on what the dogs have been doing each day. Daisy always has the best time when she’s staying with them. They care for my dog just like they do their own. I will continue to use Kayla and Trevor!”

“Sarah is great. She was able to accommodate Ranger last minute after our usual sitter had to cancel on us and worked with us after our flight home to pick him up was delayed. Ranger was in great hands during his stay and I could tell he enjoyed himself every minute because he was always either playing or cuddling someone”

“I was very happy to find Krista. She kept me updated with pictures and videos. Both of my dogs had a good time. I could tell they were loved and spoiled. I hope she is available for another vacation.”

“We had a very good experience overall with Katherine. She was informative, kind, and sent pictures to keep us updated during Bella's stay. She also took Bella on daily walks which is one of her most favorite things to do. This was my first time using Rover and I am very pleased with the experience.”

“Katie is wonderful! I was so worried about leaving my animals since I’ve never gone out of town without them! She was extremely flexible and took amazing care of my pups. I won’t book with anyone else on rover. Thank you again Katie!!!”
