“Deborah was so great with our timid Luna! She’s the best sitter we’ve ever used (even including our friends and family, lol! 🫣). Deborah was always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. She sent multiple pictures of Luna each day, keeping us up to date with their activities and helping us feel like we weren’t so far away. Even though our booking was super last minute for the weekend, Deborah’s place was perfectly prepared for Luna’s stay. Her home is easy to find and located in a quiet residential neighborhood without through traffic. When we arrived for drop off, Deborah had made an adorable hand-decorated sign which she pinned on her front door welcoming us to “Luna’s Weekend Retreat”. 🌺 She welcomed us inside and I’ve never seen Luna take to a new place so quickly; she immediately made herself at home in the spa-like cloud bed which had been made fresh for her and lined with a curated selection of dog toys for her choosing. She didn’t even get up when we were leaving, which has never happened before at a drop off! We were put so at ease leaving Luna in Deborah’s care for the weekend, and we’re thrilled to receive pictures of their adventures exploring the neighborhood trail, getting brushes and pedicures, and just generally being loved and cared for as if Luna was Deborah’s own pupper to love and dote on. ❤️ Luna’s well behaved and easy to care for, but is also quietly anxious and afraid of loud noises. She is a rescued staffy and has “resting ASPCA face” much of the time, even with us, so I never blame a sitter for her expressions, but we can always tell from seeing her eyes, brows, and ears in photos how relaxed and comfortable she is, and Deborah was somehow able to put Luna at ease, even on 4th of July weekend with scary fireworks popping! We’re so grateful to have found Deborah as our new go to sitter. Now we’re going to have to make up and plan new trips just to give Luna a reason to get to go adventure and sleep over with her new friend! 🥰 Thanks endlessly, Deborah!”

Always willing to meet her where she is. Since he started walking her, she's gotten a bit better around men and doesn't bark as often when people walk by the house! It's been amazing. It's only been about a week or two, but he's been very reliable and consistent, and always keeps me informed if anything comes up or changes. Highly, highly recommended!”
About: Hi! I worked at a local vet office for 2 years helping with boarding, care while in room, walking dogs and providing love and care. I have also owned a dog or dogs since I was 10. I adore animals and will treat your family’s sweet pet as my own. I currently work from home and have flexible availability to come and go to better assist families. I am available at all hours that are needed. My current pet, Jack, is walked multiple times daily. We only crate when we leave. I am offering dog walking services. I am aware on how to safely walk dogs in their familiar areas. I am aware of how to harness and walk dogs of all sizes and safely return to the home. About: I grew up on a farm where we raised horses, cattle, pigs, chickens, & dogs. After attending Iowa State for Animal Science I begins working remotely and pet sitting for people in the Ames community. Pictured is Moe my 13 year old lab the sweetest old man out there! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11yo. I’ve cared for Australian Shepherds, Poodles, Rat Terriers, Cairn Terriers, Papillions, Irish Wolfhounds and more. I have four dogs now: German Shepherd Mix, German Shorthaired Pointer, and two Pembroke Corgis. I’m familiar with small and large dogs. She was always on time and even payed attention to my dog being to hot so she cut the walk short instead of pushing him to walk more. She noticed everything about him which was so heartwarming. She is so sweet. I even had to schedule her back to back and she was able to do fit that in to her schedule and it was very late notice! I highly recommend Julia! About: I've had 4 dogs in total. I got 3 right now, I love when it comes to taking care of them like brushing or giving them their supplements. All my dogs have different personalities, I would love to meet yours. I work almost full time, but I would love to spend time with pets on my free time. I am available 5 days a week maybe some weekends too. I have a fenced yard and 3 dogs who love meeting other dogs. All my dogs are fixed so no worry and they get fed 2 big meals. About: Ive had pets since I was born honestly, my used to love fostering animals when I was younger on top of the pets we had at the time. I’ve been an experienced sitter for around 2 years and am ready to meet whatever cutie you have! I am working to make this my full time position so I can be home at all times for these babies! I recently lost my pit bull Ruby from old age a couple of months ago so I’ve started going over to my sister’s apartment to let her black lab Charlie out to walk everyday! And, it’s helping me not miss my baby as much! I am so loving towards dogs and treat them with the utmost care:) I have had rocky who was a chow mixed with golden retriever and he passed away at 20 from old age. He was my best friend I got when I was 2. Then when my grandpa passed away I got Ruby who was a pit bull and she was my best friend who passed away from old age and a tumor at 18. I loved on them everyday, walked them daily, played with them daily, and the occasional pup cups were necessary. Every dog that comes in my path absolutely loves me and I love them too. They really are angels for us to have on this earth. I am trying I find a way to pay off student debt flexibly with my schedule of music ministering at prisons, high schools, addiction facilities, and leading worship at youth services. I am very intuitive of pets when they are around me so Im able to make sure they are happy and safe. I love giving them love on top of love. My husband also helps, so your dog will be part of our family’s daily routine and receive lots of love and attention. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a fully fenced yard, a clean, non-smoking home, and plenty of space if your dog prefers or needs a crate. Our sweet 2-year-old German Shepherd mix, Koda, loves playing with other dogs, and our children have grown up around dogs and know how to interact with them respectfully. We only accept dogs that are comfortable in a family environment so everyone has a safe, fun, and stress-free stay.
