About: I am going to school to school currently to become a veterinarian and I hopefully will get a job as a vet tech very soon! I have 3 dogs and a cat of my own and I take care of them everyday while the rest of my family is at work. I love to take my dogs on walks for about 30 minutes at least twice a day. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs are very friendly and playful and love new friends! We have multiple crates if that is something necessary for your pet. “Katy took care of my 5-month-old puppy, Bagel, for three days while I was in the area taking a painting class. Bagel is a very sweet, social and energetic puppy who loves people and other dogs, but he can become overstimulated around other dogs and doesn’t always know how to settle himself yet. Although I had explained that ahead of time, I don’t think either Katy or I realized just how difficult it would be for him to settle in a new home with another dog around. Katy really did try hard to make him comfortable. She took him on walks, played with him, worked on calming him down, and even made a trip to the pet store for a stronger harness, leash, blanket, treats and other things she thought might help. She communicated with me throughout the day and was very honest when she felt Bagel was becoming more than she could comfortably manage for a full day. After two particularly challenging days, we agreed to shorten his third day. Interestingly, he seemed to be settling in better by then, and Katy ended up keeping him until about 2:00 rather than the noon pickup we had planned. Bagel was always happy to see Katy and willingly went with her each morning, which meant a lot to me. I also really liked Katy personally and appreciated how much she cared about making the situation work. Bagel was simply a much bigger handful in her home than I expected, and I think being around another dog all day made it especially hard for him to turn himself off and rest. I’m grateful for the effort Katy put in and for how much she genuinely cared about Bagel during his stay.”

About: I’ve had dogs in the home since I was a small child and host small dogs (under 20 pounds) in my home. I'm new to booking through Rover, but can supply references, if requested. I’m excited to open my door (and heart) to your pup for day visits or overnights. I have one super tough 6 pound Shihtzu-Chihuahua in the house so your pups must be friendly with other dogs. I also have experience with puppies and caring for senior dogs. I work from home so I'm at home all day and night during the week. On weekends, I'm never gone for more than 3- 4 hours at any one time. Most of the time, I'm home with the fur babies. I have a house with ample room to welcome up to 2 dogs (same owner) at a time. I have a fenced back yard area allowing for exercise and free roaming. I never leave pets outdoors unattended. Dog's will normally sleep in my bed with me, but totally fine if they prefer their own bed in my room.

About: Hello! My name is Kelley and I have lots of furry children. I have four Siberian Huskies and a Shiba Inu and they make life fun and adventurous! I have experience working with cats and dogs of all sizes and behaviors. I also have experience caring for rabbits as I had my own. Growing up I volunteered at the VCA Adoption center where we took care of the animals looking for homes and spent a few years of my adult life volunteering and running a rescue. I absolutely love animals and treat all exactly as I would want someone to treat my own. 😁 I am available most evenings after 4PM or anytime on Thursdays. About: I’ve watched neighbors pets as a young kid and have always loved meeting new animals. I think it’s important that the animals keep to a as normal schedule as possible to mimic every day life. I’m always around and can stay as long as required for your animals. I also have looked after family pets when family goes away. I was recently diagnosed with a chronic illness: gastroparesis, so obtaining a full time job has been difficult. I have been put on some medication that helps the majority of my issues, but I can’t manage a full time job, unfortunately. I’m available all days of the week other than Fri-Sun where I work part time in Johnson City from 10am-4pm. I’d love to be able to spend that free time with your babies and give them the time they need to run around or just to give them some company since I have a lot of time on my hands. I grew up with dogs my whole life and have also been around cats that my grandmother has had. I have my one pup, Mika and my boyfriend has his two dogs. It’s been rough not being able to do much, but furry friends always make me smile and provide wonderful, uplifting energy to myself as well as to you I can imagine. She sent us photos of Big Guy and we could tell by his look, he was enjoying his vacation. We were out of state in NY during the terrible Nor'easter Storm and had to delay our return drive twice. Ashlyn had no problem with keeping our Big Guy the extra 2 days we were delayed in our return. I highly recommend her for Pet Sitting in the Tri Cities area. There are none better.”
