On top of that, he is TERRIFIED of everyone except for me. My other two are also scaredy cats. Avery was able to work with all three cats, made sure my sick kitty got his meds every night (even though he refused to come out of hiding!!!), befriended the two shy kitties (including the spicy one!!!) Avery made sure to check in with me each day- before, during and after every visit! “We appreciate Staysha staying with Bentley and accepting to care for him. I truly believe that Staysha loves to care for animals; however, today I experienced something that I had not experienced before through Rover.com. One was that the pet sitter did not update her address until after we booked, making this a serious issue due to us trying to coordinate the timing of our destination to her home. The other reason is that when I called Staysha to let her know we were going over to pick up my dog, she said that she left my dog to someone else while she went to run errands and go walk another dog and feed another dog at some other house. In one of the pictures, my dog was outside playing with a belly band on and when Inwent to pick him up his belly band was wet of pee pee and the pad was stinky of urine from not being changed. And when we got there to pick him up, Staysha was not there yet and her young niece gave me Bentley. The only reason why I will leave a tip at this point is because I feel bad for Staysha little niece who she seemed to be the one who was watching Bentley while Staysha was out. Staysha, if I could give you a constructive criticism, it would be that, I know you really mean to care for animals, ect. But, when a pet owner leaves their pet with “you” - who Rover.com checks your background check ect, the pet owner is trusting you to watch over their baby, their kid, their dog. For us Bentley is like our son and when you told me you left him with someone else, I could not believe it. I could give a 3 star vs 4 stars, but I believe in second chances, in forgiveness and I know that my feedback will serve to you as a positive one because you will plan your schedule better so that this does not happen again. Thank you and hope all goes well.”

She kindly welcomed us to an impromptu meet and greet which was very helpful for our two shih tzus, 0ne is over 15 yo, nearly deaf with vision loss, and his buddy was recently rescued from a breeding mill so he's learning about love, leash, harness, steps, toys, beds, security: everything in dog life. Josie and her service dog Saint share a wonderful energy which we appreciate. Our two pups do best in calm and they responded well to them. During their stay Josie provided exceptional communication with photos and updates which we appreciated even when we were unable to respond. Her love, patience and dedication to dogs are evident. I definitely recommend Josie and Saint and will request them again. Next time I think our little dogs would be more comfortable without a second large dog staying too. I have confidence in Josie managing several at a time, however ours can become unsettled by larger groups of dogs or people. Over time they may be able to feel more secure in them. Now, they are less sure. Josie handled any of their insecurities or fears well. She is very accommodating for their needs all around, including special allergy diets too. We are pleased to have met Josie and look forward to seeing Saint and her again. They are a pleasure.”

About: My specialty is bigger dogs who like to pull. My best friend is a 110 lb wolfdog named keylo who I've had around 7 years. I walk him and our other dog 3/4 times a week. Their are several hikes around the area we go on as well. I usually work from home so I will have plenty of time for your fur babies . 5 minutes from several parks as well🐶 😊 schedule is flexible I have a huge fenced in back yard with multiple levels and lots of roaming/playing room. “Joe was amazing with both of my dogs. He can handle my big german shepherd and my little pug. He provided pictures and updates throughout their boarding and had many activities for them to keep them entertained. He gave them their special diet and provided medication to my shepherd and they were happy and healthy on my return. I will be using Joe again whenever I need to board my dogs.”
“I hesitate to leave a review, honestly, because I don’t want more people taking up all of Amber’s availability! She really helped me out of a jam—two jams, actually—when she accepted my last-minute booking (like, basically 24 hours notice) when my other sitter canceled for an emergency, AND she VERY generously agreed to watch my dog for an extra night when I was stuck overnight at a the airport. Amber shared daily photos and videos and other updates. She’s both proactive and quickly responsive. Will happily trust her to watch my pup anytime. But for my sake, please just…find someone else 🙏🏻”
