“Shawna went above and beyond to make our 3 girls feel safe and loved for the week she cared for them. She came a few days before to meet them and to understand how we take care of them so that she could continue that at home she sent daily pictures of them and was willing to check in and let us know how they were settling in and what they had done that day. She even purchased a set of stairs, so our smallest girl could get up on the couch with the rest of the dogs we would highly recommend her to anyone and will be using her in the future. Her young sons really helped. Our girls settle in and made a hard week on them a little easier”

About: I am a Veterinary Technician who is currently waiting to take his national certification exam to work in the state of Tennessee. I have been working in doggy daycares and vet clinics for the last eight (8) years and have loved every minute of it. I recently moved to Tennessee from the Pacific Northwest and would like to continue to care for pets even though I’m not in a clinic yet. Even when I return to clinics I still plan to keep doing walks and home visits if for no better reason than to get out of my house everyday. To provide boarding or daycare options, my 'dog fix' will be fulfilled and serve your needs also. I have never met a dog that didn't like me, all dogs I have met engage with me quickly. I am a RN and have performed CPR on one of my dogs before bringing him back to life. I can give oral meds and have given injections to my dogs in the past. I walk daily and if your dog wants to join me, perfect! I work from home and an empty nester. I am home most afternoons and evenings and will adjust my schedule to be here with your fur kid without large gaps in time. I have a fenced backyard with a doggie door to the backyard if your dog knows how to use one. My neighbor is small with sidewalks for safety. I have a large and medium crate if your dog requires one no need to bring it. They can be on the couch or even sleep in the bed if that is what they are used to. I have a covered patio to protect from the weather elements so your dog can lay outside and enjoy fresh air. Water will be available outside also.

“Victoria and Charles were fantastic. I was worried about my little Otis being anxious about being left as he has serious separation anxiety ( OK, we both do ! ) but as Victoria and I were chatting - Otis happily bouncing around exploring her and Charles' lovely lawn she teased him over for a pet and before I knew it he was in her arms - looking very happy I might add! I had a few things to transfer from my car to my sons - typically high stress time for me, trying to keep track of Otis - who won't get more than a step or two away, so I don't step on him. He just go cozier and cozier and sunk lower and lower into Victoria's arm. I guess I wasn't surprised to receive a photo by text, of him laying in her lap before it was even dark out. Pick up was easy - Victoria and Charles' garage door were open and it was lit like a beacon in the rainy night - just a quick report from Victoria ( he's fine ! ) as it was a long day and we were on our way. This is my first chance to reach out and its been three days - sorry guys! Do you need a sitter? Are Victoria and Charles available? Book them!! ( I'd even settle for just Charles : 0 : o : ) . So, I know how important getting the best care for your fur babies is! I can walk, feed, play or just check in for a potty break if need be. I had an older dog that had to take medicine every day for cancer, sadly he has passed on. So I am also able to give medicine if that's what your baby needs. I am also available to check on cats. I work as a school photographer, so if you need pictures of your babies while I am caring for them I will be more than happy to provide that! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! So I am available for drop-ins and walks, I am available anytime on Saturday and Sunday, and then Monday through Friday in the evenings or really early mornings. I have taken care of animals just about my whole life! I have shadowed in a veterinary clinic, volunteered at a doggy daycare/boarding business, dog sat, and have pets of my own! I have 2 dogs and a cat of my own and have had chickens and even goats so my animal experience is extremely vast! I offer pet sitting and walking. I am extremely flexible and will try my hardest to work around your schedule to make everything more convenient for you! I will love and take care of your pets like they are my own! :) I clinical rotation is currently Tuesday through Friday in Hoover from 8-4:30. Monday’s are very flexible for me, as I have class but hours tend to change. I lived in at the end of a quiet neighborhood that does not get much traffic other than neighbors that live at the end of the road. My two friendly dogs would love to keep your dog company!

About: I own 2 super sweet dogs! I have had pets all my life gowing up and i was the one to take care of them. I’ve done many dog sitting jobs as walk ins and as staying over night. I love getting to bring joy to the lonely animals while families are gone! I am able to come at any times around my classes. I have a very light schedule with in person classes. I work one job 2 days a week for very short hours. I am very flexible and able to help with whatever. I always make sure to check the food and water. She came a few days before to meet them and to understand how we take care of them so that she could continue that at home she sent daily pictures of them and was willing to check in and let us know how they were settling in and what they had done that day. She even purchased a set of stairs, so our smallest girl could get up on the couch with the rest of the dogs we would highly recommend her to anyone and will be using her in the future. Her young sons really helped. Our girls settle in and made a hard week on them a little easier”
