Even though our booking was super last minute for the weekend, Deborah’s place was perfectly prepared for Luna’s stay. Her home is easy to find and located in a quiet residential neighborhood without through traffic. When we arrived for drop off, Deborah had made an adorable hand-decorated sign which she pinned on her front door welcoming us to “Luna’s Weekend Retreat”. 🌺 She welcomed us inside and I’ve never seen Luna take to a new place so quickly; she immediately made herself at home in the spa-like cloud bed which had been made fresh for her and lined with a curated selection of dog toys for her choosing. She didn’t even get up when we were leaving, which has never happened before at a drop off! We were put so at ease leaving Luna in Deborah’s care for the weekend, and we’re thrilled to receive pictures of their adventures exploring the neighborhood trail, getting brushes and pedicures, and just generally being loved and cared for as if Luna was Deborah’s own pupper to love and dote on. ❤️ Luna’s well behaved and easy to care for, but is also quietly anxious and afraid of loud noises. She is a rescued staffy and has “resting ASPCA face” much of the time, even with us, so I never blame a sitter for her expressions, but we can always tell from seeing her eyes, brows, and ears in photos how relaxed and comfortable she is, and Deborah was somehow able to put Luna at ease, even on 4th of July weekend with scary fireworks popping! We’re so grateful to have found Deborah as our new go to sitter. Now we’re going to have to make up and plan new trips just to give Luna a reason to get to go adventure and sleep over with her new friend! 🥰 Thanks endlessly, Deborah!”

About: I’ve always loved animals, (especially cats, I’m a huge cat person), so I’ve had at least one or two ever since I was little, and throughout the years I’ve learned how to take care of them. I’ve also owned a few dogs here and there, including a chihuahua. (I have more experience with small dogs.) As of now, I am completely free all Monday through Sunday, so feel free to book me whenever. There are times I do go to church on Sundays around 1:30pm to 3, so anytime after would work. For Drop-Ins: I stop by for feedings and enrichment for between 30 minutes to an hour. I make sure they care squared away and everything is locked up before I leave. For Walks: It’s simple … we just go for walks. 30 minutes to an hour or whatever set path and time per appointment. For House-Sitting: I set a time for me to come over. I stay for the duration of the appointment set and bring my own necessities so that I don’t have to leave the premises. I stay within your home, where your babies are most comfortable, and provide them with company and a set schedule. Before I confirm a booking, I will ALWAYS set up a meet-and-greet. I need to be able to sit down with the fur-babies and parents so we can get a good view of the vibes and to see if I would be a good fit. These meet-and-greets are NOT OPTIONAL and refusal will result in a CANCELED BOOKING! Sitting should be a comfortable experience for pet, pet parent, and sitter. Checking the vibes and getting details is critical for success.

She sent multiple pictures of Luna each day, keeping us up to date with their activities and helping us feel like we weren’t so far away. Even though our booking was super last minute for the weekend, Deborah’s place was perfectly prepared for Luna’s stay. Her home is easy to find and located in a quiet residential neighborhood without through traffic. When we arrived for drop off, Deborah had made an adorable hand-decorated sign which she pinned on her front door welcoming us to “Luna’s Weekend Retreat”. 🌺 She welcomed us inside and I’ve never seen Luna take to a new place so quickly; she immediately made herself at home in the spa-like cloud bed which had been made fresh for her and lined with a curated selection of dog toys for her choosing. She didn’t even get up when we were leaving, which has never happened before at a drop off! We were put so at ease leaving Luna in Deborah’s care for the weekend, and we’re thrilled to receive pictures of their adventures exploring the neighborhood trail, getting brushes and pedicures, and just generally being loved and cared for as if Luna was Deborah’s own pupper to love and dote on. ❤️ Luna’s well behaved and easy to care for, but is also quietly anxious and afraid of loud noises. She is a rescued staffy and has “resting ASPCA face” much of the time, even with us, so I never blame a sitter for her expressions, but we can always tell from seeing her eyes, brows, and ears in photos how relaxed and comfortable she is, and Deborah was somehow able to put Luna at ease, even on 4th of July weekend with scary fireworks popping! We’re so grateful to have found Deborah as our new go to sitter. Now we’re going to have to make up and plan new trips just to give Luna a reason to get to go adventure and sleep over with her new friend! 🥰 Thanks endlessly, Deborah!”
