About: I come from a farming background, and have cared for dogs and cats in a variety of environments. I worked as a livestock manager for farming operations a total of 5+ years, besides having owned and raised many of my own pets since I was a kid. I have often volunteered to pet sit for friends and relatives, including both dogs and cats. I can handle all basic daily needs, feeding, walking, monitoring, and even administer medications if required. I am on a seasonal break for the holidays, and looking to supplement my income. About: Since childhood, I've had dogs, cats, fish and snakes. In the past 10 years, we have 5 dogs in the family. I have taken care of friend's pets as well (dogs and bunny). About: My love for dogs started at a young age, reading about different dog breeds and being fascinated by their unique sizes, personalities, abilities, and the purposes they were originally bred for. About: I worked in the vet industry since I was about 17 years old as a veterinary technician. I found another full time job in the healthcare industry in Cancer research about a year and a half ago. But I still kept my veterinary job until recently. I left the vet industry to open up my availability to be around animals in a more intimate way such as dog walking, house sitting, etc. I am experienced with most animals since I grew up with a lot of my own. Over the years my family has owned ducks, chickens, horses, chinchillas, cats, sugar gliders, dogs, bearded dragons, geckos, rabbits, cows and guinea pigs so I am experienced with several different types of animals! I’m currently working full time but I have a work from home job that is flexible so I am able to bring my laptop and work phone. I go in office to work in Nashville a 1 day out of the week but I can always change the days around so I am very flexible! I know pet safety so I will keep a dog on the leash at all times unless there is a fence to put them in. Also if I need to bring any animals to my house I have a crate I can keep them in. I have a yard with a fence that I would watch them under my direct supervision at all times.

Throughout Sweetie’s pregnancy, birthing, and weening, and our raising of her puppy Zorro, my mom taught me all about dogs, since her dad used to breed pugs and cavalier King Charles spaniels.
