Willow, my timid rescue who went from foster to family came to us fearful of nearly everything (ceilings and shadows being the scariest) and she didn’t even know what a bed was. Since then, we’ve been learning brave together, slowly discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be safe. “Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. About: I've been caretaker to Augie, a mixed lab, since he was eight months old. He's now a senior, so my experience runs the gamut age-wise. Augie is very social and I have therefore had a lot of experience socializing with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperments. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I take many walks during the day, and would love to walk with your furry friend. For overnights, I would simply need a good Wifi connection. About: I grew up with dogs and cats and haven’t looked back! We currently have two dogs, 7 & 1, Shiloh and Shepherd. I raised a puppy with my sister and most recently Shepherd who is a retriever/poodle mix. I am currently building a small business but it is very flexible. I can be available every day at any hour and would love overnights, weekends and longer term stays! I will treat them as my own. We will spend a lot of time together. About: Hi, I’m Anusha! I have the great advantage of being able to work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. I have a two year doggo that stays with me every few months (co-parenting) but when she’s at her other home, I miss having a dog so much! Therefore, I’m here to provide all the walks, fetch, belly rubs and love your fur baby could desire. I can take your dog out for bathroom breaks or walks as much as needed. If there’s any specifications on how you would like your dog cared for, please let me know in advance and I will be happy to oblige. I love all dogs and want your experience, as well as your dog’s, to be as pleasant and stress free as possible!
About: I love caring for animals and discovering their unique personalities. My whole life I’ve always had a cat or dog living with me, whether it be mine or my roommates. Making sure they know they are loved and safe is my top priority. I am an Assistant Director in the film and Television industry, during my downtime between jobs I have an ample amount of time in my days. With dogs I work hard to build a level of trust between me and the pup. Consistency and repetition is key for me. Each dog is different so it takes some effort to get to understand them.

About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember! I grew up with Airedale Terriers and started caring for other people’s pets early - from neighborhood dog walker in middle school, to go-to pet sitter in college, and eventually an experienced Rover sitter. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, along with cats, small animals, and even a chameleon. My own three dogs have expanded that experience even further. Maia, my beagle and soul dog, has seizures, chronic elevated liver enzymes, allergies, a time-sensitive medication regimen, and a customized diet. Her care involves multiple veterinary specialists, and she’s been through emergency surgery, specialty dental care, and most recently a liver biopsy. Because of her, medications, special diets, navigating complex care plans, and noticing subtle changes are very familiar territory. Willow, my timid rescue who went from foster to family came to us fearful of nearly everything (ceilings and shadows being the scariest) and she didn’t even know what a bed was. Since then, we’ve been learning brave together, slowly discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be safe. She’s taught me so much about reading body language, encouraging without pushing, and recognizing when a nervous dog simply needs patience and space. I have a huge soft spot for shy and fearful dogs, especially the ones who make you earn their trust. Ghost, our senior pitty, has given me plenty of experience with big personalities, sassy attitudes, and high energy dogs. He recently was diagnosed with cancer and had a tumor removal followed by particularly complicated wound healing, so prolonged recovery, wound care, medications, and activity restrictions (even when they don’t want it) have become familiar territory too. Between the three, I’ve worked with very different dogs with very different starting points, training and routines. I’m happy to maintain established commands, boundaries, and training for consistency, or follow a more relaxed routine if you prefer simply keeping your pet safe, happy, and loved. I’m here to follow what works best for your fur baby! 🤍 Professionally, I spent seven years as a critical care nurse and I’m now an ICU nurse practitioner. Human and veterinary medicine are very different, but detailed instructions, precise schedules, noticing subtle changes, and staying calm when something unexpected happens are second nature to me. Most importantly, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of Rover. Please give me the detailed instructions, medication schedules, fears, quirks, and weird little things only you notice — I genuinely want to know. I’d love to meet your pet exactly where they are and care for them the way I’d want someone to care for mine 🐾 I recently moved to Nashville and have a little over a month before starting my new position, so my availability is currently wide open! I’m naturally a night owl, so early mornings, evenings, and unconventional hours don’t scare me 😂 My goal is to fit into your pet’s world, not expect them to fit into mine. I’d love to learn their normal routine, household rules, training, favorite things, fears, and what makes them feel safest, whether that’s cuddles and constant companionship or simply being given a little space. I’m especially aware of environmental safety, medications, dietary restrictions, doors/gates, and keeping tempting objects away from curious mouths (my beagle has taught me well 😂). For nervous pets, I’m happy to slow things down and let them decide when they’re ready to interact. If you have established commands, boundaries, or training in place, I’ll maintain them for consistency. Your routine stays their routine. ❤️
