“Christopher was Great!! I reached out last minute to see if he could keep my 2yo Catahoula, and he immediately responded and was available. He kept me updated with texts and pictures of how she was doing, and she was worn out and happy when I picked her back up! Would definitely book again!”

“Ute was very accommodating to have Bichon/Shih Tzu mix dog stay with her and her sweet Labrador dog for the weekend. She communicated well and sent cute photos throughout my dog's stay. He took to her easily and felt comfortable in his surroundings with his new dog buddy:) I would definitely call on Ute again to watch him!”

“Suzy was amazing and took great care of my baby! We had such a wonderful experience! Eugene stayed over the 4th of July weekend, and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. She made sure he got his ear medication every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious she genuinely cared about him, and I felt completely confident that he was safe, happy, and well taken care of. He had the best time playing outside and came home tired in the best way. I would absolutely trust her with Eugene again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 13 years old and have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve helped family, friends, and neighbors by feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for their pets while they were away. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. I currently have a miniature dachshund, so I have hands-on experience with puppy care, crate training, potty routines, feeding schedules, daily exercise, and reinforcing good behaviors. I know every dog has unique needs, and I take the time to learn their routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I’ll provide attentive care and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout each visit. I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable pet care before work, after work, and throughout the weekends, depending on my schedule. I’m also usually home on the weekends and days I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I understand how important consistency is, so I do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine with feeding, walks, exercise, and lots of love. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I live in a pet-friendly apartment that is pet-proofed to help provide a safe environment for visiting pets. My community is very dog friendly, with a fenced dog park and plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for walks, exercise, and enrichment. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special care instructions before their stay. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, crate training, or favorite toys, I’ll follow your instructions closely to help your pet feel comfortable and at home. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important trust is, and I’ll care for your pet with the same patience, attention, and love that I give my own.

About: Since I was young I’ve been raised around cats and dogs (12 to be exact), loving animals is a lifetime commitment to me! Whenever my parents would go out of town, I would be in charge of keeping the house safe and our pets. This includes the typical responsibilities as well as providing medical care to our older pets, diabetes shots daily, hip and joint treats with every dinner, even temporary medicines after small procedures. Since I was young, my mother and I were a part of a nonprofit organization run by her best friend called pawsitive difference in Las Vegas, this entailed, not only volunteering at adoption meets, but also even as far as picking up strays off the street taking them to get medical care and fostering until we found them homes. I’ve loved every pet I’ve had temporarily and long-term, along with all the ones I’ve yet to meet! As far as my experience goes, I’ve pet sit for my own as well as friends of the family and for other great dog sitters. I’m doing this until I get my own dog just because I miss having one in the house since moving and I would love nothing more to help your fur babies in any way I can! I’m currently always home taking care of house day-to-day errands until I start hair school in a few months so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I live in suburban neighborhood of mostly families, which is great for walking dogs and lots of grass to play in. I do like to walk with a leash just for safety purposes, even if your pets are trained to not need one to prevent any unnecessary issues. I do have a friendly very old cat, but she mostly stays in my roommates bedroom sleeping the day away, so there won’t be much contact with her and your pet will have my full attention!
“Trish was absolutely great with my fur baby! She stay in communication by sending updates and was able to accommodate me when I needed her to watch him last minute for an extra day. Denver loves it with her. We’ll definitely be using her again!”

“Marisa was super nice working with us. We had a snow and ice storm the day before we left. She made arrangements for us so we didn’t miss our trip. Coco did well with her.”

“This was the first time Anita watched our dog and she did a wonderful job! She sent me updates every day and felt like she treated our dog with just as much love and care as she treats her own fur baby.”

About: I have experience caring for cats, including those with anxiety and overgrooming. I currently care for my own cat and focus on keeping a calm, consistent environment. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box care, medications, and paying attention to behavior changes. I take time to build trust with each cat and always provide updates and photos. I also grew up with puppies. I have experienced walking, going potty, and playing! Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially in the evenings and on weekends. I have a consistent schedule and am available Wednesday through Friday in the evenings and Saturdays during the day. I already care for my own cat daily, so feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time with pets is something I’m used to. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure each pet gets reliable, on-time care and attention. In a client’s home, I follow your cat’s normal routine to keep things as stress-free as possible. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and playtime or quiet companionship depending on your cat’s personality. I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or anxious cats, and never force interaction. I also monitor behavior, administer medications if needed, and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.
“Heather is the absolute best!!! She took such great care of our little baby and gave so much love and comfort. The communication was just right with pictures and updates. We were delayed by 3 hours and was past midnight due to travel disruptions and she remained kind throughout the time. I can tell our puppy was so loved and we were so relieved the entire time we were gone. She will be my go to & I recommend her to all!”

“Janey was so great with our pup, Steve! She was very on top of making sure he had everything he needed before we left and keeping us updated while we were away. He’s a big snuggler, and she made him feel right at home welcoming him on her lap and in her bed. Would love to have Steve stay with Janey again!”

Definitely was grateful for the constant communication and daily pictures of Belle as well. It was definitely nerve wracking at first because it was our first time using a service like this, but Jenny was phenomenal!”

“Jessie did amazing with my girls! I sent her a super last min request and she was very accommodating. I have a very confusing apartment complex, with complicated security measures. Even though we weren’t able to do a meet and greet, she was able to figure it out and took great care of my kitties!! I’d definitely hire her again!”

If there is anything else people would like me to do i would be understanding. Kennel, puppy pee pad, etc.

I understand the stress of having to leave your pup and can assure you they’ll be in great hands! We’ll go on walks, play throughout the day and snuggle at night. I work from home full time. I am here to hang with them and keep them busy while you are gone. I take my own pup on daily walks and Riley loves to have a friend around. I have lots of grass around my apartment and a big dog park for them to play. I also love going on walks with them and being active if that’s what they like!

“Luigi had tons of fun at daycare today, thanks Ashley! Loved seeing all the pictures taken throughout his day and happy to hear he did well on his leash/walks too :)”

About: Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I love animals and have been a pet sitter and dog walker for five years. I specialize in energetic walks, fun doggy-play during the day, and loving supervision until you return home. I work from home and will ensure your pet gets a lot of attention. I offer the following services: *Walks: I can come by while you are at work or away to take your pet for a walk. Walks range from 30-60 minutes. I can walk up to two dogs at a time, and I can accommodate the level of speed your pet needs. I am trying to expand my walking services on Rover, as I have primarily been boarding, but I also have a lot of walking experience. *Drop-in: If you pet isn't a walker, I can come by and play with them and let them out to the bathroom. *Doggy Day Care: This service is perfect if you need pet care for just the day. I can host your pet at my home. *Boarding: NOTE due to high demand for this service, I am not accepting new clients at the moment. I live in West Nashville, in a townhome with a small fenced in yard. If your pet needs more exercise, we can go for a walk around my neighborhood or I have several parks within miles from house. Feel free to bring their favorite toy or bed, and crates are also welcome. I only board one pet at a time. If there are any behavioral issues I should be aware of, I trust the parent will tell me. *Pet Sitting: I can come to your home and sit for your pet. Meet and greets are available upon request. Thank you, and I look forward to meeting your pet! I work from home so I will make sure your pet will get a lot of attention and exercise throughout the day. There is always time for walks. I treat my clients pets like they are my own. Whether I’m watching them for a few days or just taking them for a walk, I will make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention.

“My girl, Maya had the best time at Amanda’s! You can tell she and her daughter truly care about the dogs as if they were their own. She was flexible with me because I have crazy work hours and kept me updated with pics throughout the day. Would definitely recommend!”

“We are very selective about leaving our little boy with anyone. But, we immediately felt comfortable with Megan and Kerry. They were great and Mokee had a good time. After we're away from him, he normally goes wild to see us again. This time he was "ho hum, you're back." Oddly, that makes me happy! 😂”

About: I have extensive experience with pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, breeds, types, colors, and temperaments. I have owned dogs, cats, turtles, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and a lizard. (I once had a pet worm in an animal cracker box. I thought he would like living in a little zoo.) For 7 years I took care of my disabled mom as well as 5 dogs and 2 cats. During that time, I also worked as a foster volunteer for Music City Pug Rescue–most of which were geriatric surrenders whose owners had passed away or moved into a nursing facility. While I questioned my own sanity at the time, looking back now, those were some of the very best days of my life! Today I only have one dog, Marley, (my lucky charm rescue–a Tibetan Terrier who was just hours away from euthanasia when I saw his picture online) and I am renting my home. So while I can't board your pets, I am happy to take care of them at their own home! Sadly I have lost pets to terrible chronic illnesses like cancer and diabetes. I've been through two torn ACL surgeries, one hip surgery, blindness, deafness, and incontinence. My current pup, little Marley, has been paralyzed twice. The first time, I was able to afford an expensive back surgery. But when it happened again six months post-op, I rehabilitated him myself. Now, 6 years later, he's still walking! I thank God every morning and night for giving me another day with him. My experience caring for all of these dogs and their health problems means that I know how to care for their special needs. Whether it's taking a dog to weekly chemo treatments or giving him two shots of insulin each day, I am capable of caring for your pets and promise to do so just like they are my own. Whether it's for a few minutes, a few days, or even a few weeks, I would love to spoil your pet(s) with lots of hugs, and kisses. Not to mention walks, toys, fur brushings, head massages, playtimes, and treats–at your request, of course! Plu$, I am always willing to work with you on rates, so don't hesitate to make an offer. No matter the price, I promise to give you the best service possible. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ I can design and 🧧 💰I can create a special GIFT CERTIFICATE for any of my services (final booking will be based on availability) I work from home and am free to pet sit, walk, feed, and take them on potty breaks throughout the day. While I only have availability to sit 41 dog at my home during the day, I am enabled to stay at your home for half an hour....or 24 -- or even a couple of weeks if that's what you need! (While I have extended stay rates listed, I am open to discussing long-term or permanent services, too. Just ask!) I do have a small dog and I take him with me everywhere. So if you do need someone for overnight services at your home, I will be bringing him with me. I will treat your canine and/or feline fur babies (or scaly ones!) just like they're my own. Likewise, I will care for your home with respect and with the utmost confidentiality. I can be as discreet as you need me to be, or I can take your pets to visit their friends if that's what you want me to do. For at-home pet sitting, I will meet with you and your pets beforehand to give you peace of mind. We can get as detailed as you want. Whether you give me a typed document outlining their care plan, or just hand me a key and tell me when to stop by, I am happy to accommodate you either way!
“Alex is amazing! I was in a pinch, downloaded Rover to find someone to watch my puppy for the next three days and she immediately responded. She is the perfect fit being so kind and patient!”

“Taylor is amazing!!! She genuinely cared for Jackson. He was really sad when we left and she made him feel loved. When we returned, we could tell he had a great time with Taylor. We knew he trusted her when Taylor sent a picture of Jackson napping and he was lying upside down. He only does that when he trusts people. We will definitely reach out to Taylor again for day care.”

“Jaxson had his first daycare visits with Julie and her sweet pup Ellie last week. Julie sent frequent videos and pictures to share in his escapades in settling in and giving and receiving love. The frequent updates made me SMILE HARD throughout my work day. It felt great knowing that he was was having a great time and getting some engagement instead of being home alone. Julie was such a great find, very close to work, she took special care in understanding his likes and dislikes which made Jaxson feel at ease with her and her family in no time! I will definitely continue to request her care of my fur angel!!”

“Lisa has been so accommodating and sweet to my buddy boy, Cosmo! He is a bit of a special case since he has arthritis and is a senior pup. Thank you for being so kind and patient with him, and helping him up and down the stairs. I've never used Rover before, but I am so thankful that we got to work with Lisa. She is the best!”

About: I’ve had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. My first childhood pet was a sweet dachshund named Greta. In my adulthood, I have been caring for my own pets for the past 26 years. We love to have our dogs Bertie and Chester near us wherever we are, indoors and outdoors. More recently, we have welcomed two incredible cats, Belle and Zesty, into our family as well. In my experience, having pets truly makes life better. I would welcome spending time with your pet, whether in your home or out on a walk, and would care for them as I would one of the pets in my own family. I am comfortable caring for active pets as well as seniors who are moving a little slower these days. I am taking some sabbatical time away from my full-time profession, so I have lots of time and energy available to care for your furry friends (as well as my own dogs and cats). I believe that pets make our lives better, and in turn I am committed to making their lives as comfortable and enjoyable as I possibly can. You can depend on me being detail-oriented and conscientious; I will stick closely to the instructions you share with me about how best to provide for your pet’s needs while you are away (as regards schedule for feeding, cat litter box tending, dogs being taken outside, medications to administer, and so on). As someone who has entrusted my own pets to the care of sitters over the years, I understand the importance of making sure my clients’ dogs and cats get lots of loving care and undivided attention, in addition to providing for their physical needs.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages since I was a pre-teen including my own and that of friends and neighbors I’ve also helped care for and raise many cats of different dispositions alongside those dogs. Currently dog dad of a big puppy and a little old man dog. My pets are truly my family so I always have their needs at the top of my mind. I do my best to not only love them, walk them, and play with them consistently but to also challenge their brains with training. I am willing to walk and play with your pets as well as just hang out and chill with them if they’re a little more laid back and just in need of some company to get through a long day.
“Abbey was amazing! She stepped in on short notice and went above and beyond. My dogs instantly loved her. I really appreciated that she kept me updated with pictures and detailed notes about their walks and playtime—it gave me so much peace of mind.”

“Jessica is great! Out of all the pet sitters we’ve had, our animals like her the most. She’s very patient with our anxious dog and elderly cat. She’s also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fish and aquatic creatures! Whenever she house sits for us I know we’ll be coming home to a very clean house as well. She is punctual, personable, great with communication, sends pictures and updates, and it’s obvious that she loves animals. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for well over 10 years now. I have 1 dog that is a rescue, so I have experience with working with reactive, timid dogs. Growing up, I also had a dog with severe diabetes, so I am familiar with administering insulin shots as well. I work hybrid-remote, so the days I’ve listed as available for walks and drop-ins are super flexible and I’m happy to coordinate with customers to find the best times that fit their dog’s needs! I love it when pet owners leave me notes on the specific things their pets might need! I’m happy to follow all directions, regularly feed and take them out to the bathroom if necessary, and play with them/spend time with them!
“Connie goes the extra mile with Scrubs. Being a night shift nurse my schedule can be crazy. Connie has always been understanding and compassionate. She sends me fun photos and gives me a wonderful update about Scrubs. She walks her, plays with her and gives her lots of love. Could not ask for anyone better! Carrie C.”

“Makena did a fantastic job getting to know our nervous and leash reactive pup! I particularly appreciated Makena taking her time to make sure our pup was comfortable and providing us with detailed updates. Would highly recommend her!”

About: I grew up in a home with a big furry dog brother and two cats. I have always leaned more on the animal lover side than anything else, and now I have four of my own (two dogs, two cats, all spoiled and loved). My life revolves around my pets. I am on a strict feeding schedule that the cats never let me miss, and the dogs require so much activity in the yard and rides in the car to experience the world. I don't make a decision without their well-being involved. My cats are on a strict diet and I stick to it. My dogs know how to tell me when they need to go outside, whether on a leash or in a fenced in backyard. I listen carefully to the animal's needs and follow strict schedules and rules from pet owners. Meds, diets, activity, sun exposure all differs from cat to dog and I take note of the specifications.

“Marisa was super nice working with us. We had a snow and ice storm the day before we left. She made arrangements for us so we didn’t miss our trip. Coco did well with her.”

“Sarah and Kevin took amazing care of our 2 pups. They have a huge fenced yard for the dogs to roam and play in a beautiful country setting. We really appreciated the photos and communication! 100% highly recommend!!”
