About: Since I was young I’ve been raised around cats and dogs (12 to be exact), loving animals is a lifetime commitment to me! Whenever my parents would go out of town, I would be in charge of keeping the house safe and our pets. This includes the typical responsibilities as well as providing medical care to our older pets, diabetes shots daily, hip and joint treats with every dinner, even temporary medicines after small procedures. Since I was young, my mother and I were a part of a nonprofit organization run by her best friend called pawsitive difference in Las Vegas, this entailed, not only volunteering at adoption meets, but also even as far as picking up strays off the street taking them to get medical care and fostering until we found them homes. I’ve loved every pet I’ve had temporarily and long-term, along with all the ones I’ve yet to meet! As far as my experience goes, I’ve pet sit for my own as well as friends of the family and for other great dog sitters. I’m doing this until I get my own dog just because I miss having one in the house since moving and I would love nothing more to help your fur babies in any way I can! I’m currently always home taking care of house day-to-day errands until I start hair school in a few months so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I live in suburban neighborhood of mostly families, which is great for walking dogs and lots of grass to play in. I do like to walk with a leash just for safety purposes, even if your pets are trained to not need one to prevent any unnecessary issues. I do have a friendly very old cat, but she mostly stays in my roommates bedroom sleeping the day away, so there won’t be much contact with her and your pet will have my full attention!

About: I’m Lorie, a former doggie foster mom who ended up adopting and raising 3 wonderful dogs, all of whom are now angel pets. I currently have a 17 y/o cat who is used to being around dogs. I have been dog sitting on Rover since spring 2023. I have a real heart for animals, and in my care your dog will be treated exactly the way mine were—like family. I have been a homeowner in the Bellevue area for 25 years, and am also a small business owner in the community. I live within walking distance of the Harpeth River Greenway and can take long walks with the dogs on nice days. Alternatively, I live on a quiet corner with a dead-end street on one side that is a great place to walk as well. I often work from home, and on the days I work away from home, I'm typically only out for a few hours at a time. I have crates if needed, dog beds, and bowls of varying sizes at my home; I only need you to bring your dog’s food and any special items like supplements or a special lovey that you’d like them to have. My yard is not fenced, so I ALWAYS use leashes and/or harnesses, no matter what. I live on a quiet, safe street in a neighborhood with a lot of walkers and bicyclers.

Finley was a 120lb gentle giant, so I am highly experienced with large breeds and dogs of all sizes. About: I have been volunteering at a dog shelter for the past 4 years and it has been wonderful, I got to indulge myself in the love and care for dogs, cats and other animals and i got to understand the love and attention they need. About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. My sister and I used to work together to rescue and foster animals before she left for the military. We learned a lot, and helped hundreds of animals find furrever homes, prevented unnecessary euthanasia, and advocated fiercly for the pets in our care. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I can be there for you and your pets needs! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!

My community is very dog friendly, with a fenced dog park and plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for walks, exercise, and enrichment. About: I love dogs and have taken care of them all my life! I recently lost my companion of 12 years in April 2026, Finley, who passed onto the rainbow bridge due to old age. Finley was a 120lb gentle giant, so I am highly experienced with large breeds and dogs of all sizes. Whether you have a Great Dane or a Pomeranian, I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own. Being a dog lover while no longer having one has been heartbreaking for me, but it also means that I now have the opportunity to hangout with your pup! :) I only ask for a week in advance notice and prefer to do a meet and greet beforehand to see if we align. I work my day job Thursday through Sunday and am currently available for house sitting Sunday night through Thursday morning and drop-in visits M, T, W. I am available to come to your home or your dog is welcome to stay at mine! I live in a 900 Sq. Ft. apartment with plenty of space for a small or medium dog or a low activity older large breed. I have two orthopedic beds that are cleaned thoroughly after each stay and two dog bowls.
About: I have had pets all my life. I have 2 dogs and 1 cats they get a long with all their pet friends. We have regulars that come over for the holidays and vacations. My home is open to all pets no restrictions. We like to make it feel like home when they are here. I work from home so there is lots of love thru out the day and play time outside. We have a dog door so they can go outside when they want and come in when wanting to hang out in the A/C. Also there is a pool for pups to swim and have fun if they want. About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life, I couldn’t imagine a household without pets. I enjoy all the time I have with these critters, and love to spend time with them and people alike! I grew up with dogs and currently have two cats of my own, so animals have always been a big part of my life. While serving on active duty, I consistently walked and cared for dogs for about six years. I’ve also house sat with pets for extended periods, with my longest stay being two weeks. I’m comfortable with animals of all breeds, sizes, and personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine and needs. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, keep up with established routines, and give your pets plenty of attention while you’re away. I also take house sitting seriously and will treat your home and animals with the same care and respect I would want for my own. After taking a break from pet sitting, I’m excited to get back into it and spend more time caring for animals again. I work from home, which makes pet care easy to fit into my daily routine and allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends, with drop offs starting at 10 AM. I’m able to provide consistent supervision since I work from home. My community has two dog parks, a dog spa, and a great walking trail, so there are plenty of options for exercise and enrichment. Percy Warner Park is also about four miles away for longer walks and outdoor time. I have two cats at home, so I’m mindful about safe introductions and making sure every animal is comfortable. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and care routine as closely as possible. I’ll even run your dogs if needed!
