She understood how I felt as a dog mom and she kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout Roscoe’s stay. She was super helpful with figuring out a convenient drop off for both of us. About: Insured care for pets of all kinds! I am a recent MTSU graduate with a degree in biology and an interest in wildlife research and conservation. I am insured and have experience with a wide variety of species. I would love to care for your fur-, scale-, and feathered-babies while you’re away! I am located in Hendersonville but can accept some drop-ins outside of the service area shown. Growing up, I learned to care for several species of animals in my home including dogs, cats, rabbits, sugar gliders, ferrets, fish, and lizards. My knowledge of pet care has expanded since then. Our family currently includes three cats, a boa constrictor, a kingsnake, two tarantulas, black widows, geckos, and a hissing cockroach. I enjoy the continual learning that comes with keeping less common animals and strive to improve upon their care as I come across new information. I do not think there is a lack of quality and trustworthy dog and cat caregivers in the area, but personally, we have found it difficult to find care for our exotic species while we are away. I would love to help out with any and all fur-babies, but I am most excited to give peace of mind to those with exotic pets who have had difficulty finding care in the past. I do have some experience with administering oral, injected, and transdermal medication to cats and recently cared for my own cat while she was in isolation following radioiodine treatment. I also have experience with some reptile conditions such as stuck sheds, respiratory infections, and parasitic infestations. I offer drop-in visits for all animals for feeding, welfare checks, and litterbox cleaning or enclosure spot-cleaning. Let me know how what I can do for you! My schedule is fairly open except for late Saturday nights! My schedule is very flexible I think each pet is unique and as is their care. I am great with dogs that have specific diets and schedule. I have lived and worked with all kinds of cats. Dogs that need to be kenneled are no problem.

About: Growing up with two rottweilers from the age of four sparked my love for animals. I learned about the playful spirit of dogs and the amount of attention necessary for an abundant and full doggy life. I’ve been self-taught in training dogs as I cared for my own dogs growing up. I’m currently taking care of a high energy, two year old dog who loves to play fetch. We walk three times a day up to 30-45 mins. I work full time but I’m pretty close to home. I work less than ten minutes away. I will be able to provide structured, consistent care. In my home, your dog can expect to get a lot of attention and love. They will get to play with my medium sized dog who loves other dogs! She will be so excited to meet your baby! I plan to integrate your dog into my schedule with a morning walk and feed. Some mental stimulation with a safe chew or Kong, midday potty/walk, and evening play/walk. I also train my dog twice a week so they can expect to work a little for some delicious freeze dried treats. They will be able to do most things within reason in my home. Dogs are allowed anywhere. I also live near a dog park, so they will be able to be safely off-leash nearby home.
