About: I grew up with a family dog who was a shih tzu and poodle mix. Now, I largely work with dogs who might need a little extra attention, but I’m open to working with other furry friends! Does your pet need medicine 3 times a day? I do that. Does your dog have leash aggression or very specific likes and dislikes? I've dealt with that too. Separation anxiety? Check! Senior dogs struggling with incontinence? I'm here to help. Currently, I offer house sitting (taking out trash, plant care, etc), drop ins, pet sitting (2-3 walks, medicine if applicable, feeding, play time), pet walks, and feeding. I can sometimes accommodate last minute bookings and am available most holidays and weekends. I offer pet sitting in my client's home to keep pets in the environment where they feel safest. I will collaborate with you to see what works best for your pet and their home. I love pets and will often spend a little extra time with them if you're worried about them being left alone. I know each dog and cat is different, so I'm more than happy to adjust to make sure they feel safe and comfortable!

Isabel is reliable, timely, trustworthy, communicative and incredibly loving. She made sure we had nothing to worry about. She even made an extra drop in to collect an unexpected package that had been delivered. If I could give her 10 stars - I would! Look no further - Highly recommend!”

“Alexandria was great! She took such good care of Luna and was so proactive about making sure her needs were met and she felt loved while I was gone! I would definitely recommend her!! I felt like my cat was in great hands.”

About: Pets have always been a central part of my life. I grew up with dogs and have cared for them over the years, and I’ve had cats my whole life. I know how to read their behavior, keep routines consistent, and make sure your pet feels at ease whether you’re gone for a few hours or a few days. I work full time but I have plenty of flexibility to take care of your pet! I go into the office 3 times a week but I am off work by 3:30pm. I can do early mornings, late nights and weekends! I come to your home, so your pet gets to stay exactly where they’re most comfortable — in their own space, with their own smells, routines, and hiding spots. I follow your instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, litter box preferences, or which spots are off-limits. I’ll always send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Daria is literally the BEST when it comes to someone watching your pup. I have a brand new puppy (now 3 months old) and work 12 hours shifts. Daria was always willing to be up early to let me drop off Mack on the way into work and grab her on my way back from work. I genuinely felt like Daria loved Mack as her own and always felt as ease when Mack was with her. She sent me plenty of pictures throughout the day and now Mack has a new best friend, Boone. Thank you Daria :)”

“Katherine was great, she was so nice and Benny seemed so happy and relaxed after he left her house. She took him for a walk, and sent updates and photos. I highly recommend her!”

“Jonathan is amazing! He watched our two energetic 8 month old pups during the daytime for two days in a row and was wonderful! The pups had a great time exploring his large backyard, getting loved on inside, and receiving a structured walk each day. Jonathan handled our worries with ease and sent many video updates throughout the day which made me very happy. Jonathan also has a training background and is very knowledgeable and helpful being our pups are young and still learning a lot. Our pups came home happy and fulfilled. We look forward to using Jonathan more in the future.”

About: -Worked for an Animal Chiropractor for 4 years, I also was hired to pet sit some of my clients fur babies. -Worked doggy day care and was a kennel technician at a pet resort for 2 years - interned at a wolf sanctuary for 1 year -volunteered at a free roam cat shelter for 2 years I work remotely as a customer service representative, so I'm home throughout the day and have a flexible schedule to provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and potty breaks. I'm also an avid traveler, so I don't currently have pets of my own. Rover is the perfect way for me to enjoy the companionship I've been missing while giving your pet lots of love, care, and attention in a safe, comfortable environment. I currently reside in an apartment that boasts a secure, gated courtyard in the complex. Also, there is great walking and parks in my area.
About: I am very diligent in safeguarding the pets in my care. I am kind and affectionate and I will respect your rules. I have been a pet owner for over 25 years. I have also been involved in caring for and rescuing many pets over the years. This has been my great joy. My home is pet friendly and pet safe. I understand how it feels to leave your beloved pets and I know how much it means to know that your sweet ones are feeling happy and well loved while you are away. I enjoy sending my clients pics of their pets during their stay. Providing secure accommodations and a fun place to stay is paramount. This is my absolute purpose, goal, and pleasure. Pet sitting is my only job. I am home all day. With your approval, your dogs will be free to enjoy inside or outside. I have a secure privacy fence and a pet door for easy access. Of course, if you prefer a more regimented potty break schedule and time outside, I am happy to oblige. I allow dogs to make themselves at home. Sitting on furniture is a-okay. (as long as you approve.) I will certainly respect your rules. I like our dog visitors to be comfortable, feeling safe and welcome. I have a ChiWeenie; who sleeps A LOT and keeps to herself mostly; however, she is friendly. I also have a very friendly and playful Jack Russell/Beagle mix who enjoys company. My yard is secure and fun. We also have patio furniture they can lounge on. I keep our upstairs access gated. Of course, I will follow your instruction in regard to their sleeping. I am happy to do a “meet and greet” prior to your scheduling.
“Carolyn is so patient and caring with my 5 month old puppy! Her sweet dog, Kirby, is also so welcoming. Carolyn was very flexible with drop off changes and is wonderful to work with. Could not recommend more!”

About: I have taken care of dogs, a cat, guinea pigs, hamsters, and hermit crabs all my life. I have a deep rooted love for animals and enjoy being around them. My neighbors have trusted me to care for their furry friends whether it is staying over their house or checking in on their pet throughout the day to make sure they are walked, fed, or let out to go to the bathroom. I also fostered a dog for a few weeks until he got adopted!! I am excited for the opportunity to meet new pets and give them all love and care:) I am a grad student at Vanderbilt University with a light class schedule. I have my clinical internship only twice a week, so I am able to be around your pet and provide the best care. I am in my apartment most hours of the day and pet care fits into my daily routine. My apartment has a small fenced in "dog park" where the dogs can go to the bathroom. My room is spacious so your pet won't feel caged in. I don't have any pets, so there's no need to worry about safety.
“Excellent sitter! Great communication. She sent lots of updates and took great care of my dog. My dog came home happy! Would definitely rebook next time I’m in the area!”

“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

“Teresa was super friendly, helpful, efficient, and flexible. She made our first time using Rover very comfortable. Coco loved taking a break from our crazy vacation to hang out while we toured some museums.”

About: My entire life has revolved around raising and caring for dogs, and I have worked with dogs from all kinds of breeds, sizes, ages, and backgrounds. Ranging from newborn puppies to older rescues and shepherds to pits, I understand that patience and understanding is key to developing a strong and trusting relationship with any dog. Capable of training certain commands and working on obedience training I am currently a student working on only remote coursework that is asynchronous. I have a lot of flexibility and free time in the day, so earning some extra money while also caring for pets sounds like a great idea! I am in an apartment myself, however we keep a good schedule for our dog to keep her healthy and active. She is on a fixed eating schedule (morning and night) and gets to be outside multiple times a day, and at least 1 of those times is a walk. Treats and reinforcement on obedience and tricks daily are a must in our home as well. For clients, I offer what they ask. Dogs are very routine oriented and do not like it to be messed up, and I respect that for the dog as well as the owner. If there is anything the owner would like me to work on with the dog (certain tricks or manners), I am more than happy to help to the best of my abilities. During check-ins I see how the dog is doing both physically and emotionally, being sure to engage with them to help break up the monotony of sitting alone or being understimulated for extended periods of time.
“Wagoner was a great communicator and reliable. It was beyond helpful to know that my pup was having a great time and well taken care of when I had a busy work week and needed a last minute request. Would highly recommend!!”

My reliability, friendliness, and patience, have allowed me to build trusting relationships with both pets and their owners, ensuring that every pet in my care feels safe, loved and wellcared for. I am in the works to enter graduate school, allowing for plenty of time to take care of your pet babies. Caring for them would make my day a bit more brighter Your pets are allowed in my home as my own, lots of cuddles, walks, and love. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs and routines and treat every animal like my own. I am currently a grad student with a pretty flexible schedule! About: I'm a 10 year old cat mom and a dog auntie! I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am familiar with giving animals, specifically cats, medicine (my cat has had urinary issues throughout the years) and I LOVE when my friends ask me to watch/play/walk their sweet doggies. I am currently working part time so my availability is very flexible. I work Wednesdays and Thursdays and have majority of the days open the remainder of the week. I respect boundaries and any specific notes that you have for your animals. They are a part of the family so when I enter the home I want them to feel safe and loved.
“She is a patient and very sweet walker. Did amazing with my rowdy bunch. Good communication and was patient with me figuring out intricacies of the app.”

About: I’ve had cats since 2006 and my husband and I adopted our first dog together in 2017. We have a happy and healthy 8 year old Black lab named Rad who is the baby of the house. Our two cats Ivan and Leota are best friends. We know what it’s like to worry about your pets when you can’t be there for their routine. We’ve used Rover in a bind and would love to provide the same peace of mind to others. In the last 7 years of my job, I have worked closely with the local SPCA to help get adoptable into good homes. On a weekly basis I would meet another kitty or pup looking for a family. I love all dogs and cats and can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I’m going to be in between jobs for a bit so my availability is extremely flexible. I can’t imagine a better way to spend my free time than helping to alleviate some stress for you and ensuring that your pets are happy and healthy. I am happy to provide whatever services you need in your home. I can offer playtime in your yard or home, walks around your neighborhood or a local park, meals/treats/meds. I do not offer boarding or daycare in my own home as to not stress out my own pets with the temporary visitors but am happy to provide care in your pets’ environment where they feel most comfortable.
“Niki was great with our boy, Sokka! We got home and he had enough food & water still and no accidents! Niki updated us once her visit with Sokka was complete. We would hire her again for another visit if needed!”

“Danielle was fantastic with my pups! I received pictures everyday showing how happy they were and felt comfortable being away knowing they were in good hands! Will definitely book again with her! Thank you!”

“Dianne was great with my dog Tahoe! She was always super responsive and sending regular updates or photos of him. I could tell Tahoe felt very at home and safe with her which was a huge relief to me while I was away for the week! Would absolutely reach out to Dianne again the next time Tahoe needs a sitter!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I’m new to Nashville and finding Rakya was such a blessing! My baby is an old lady so it’s been a task finding someone that gives her the same loving that she gets at home but my baby had a TIME during her stay. She was just as happy and seemed at home with Rakya and that just shows how much of an amazing environment that was created. 10/10 would recommend and am definitely booking again!”
