About: My entire life has revolved around raising and caring for dogs, and I have worked with dogs from all kinds of breeds, sizes, ages, and backgrounds. Ranging from newborn puppies to older rescues and shepherds to pits, I understand that patience and understanding is key to developing a strong and trusting relationship with any dog. Dogs are very routine oriented and do not like it to be messed up, and I respect that for the dog as well as the owner. If there is anything the owner would like me to work on with the dog (certain tricks or manners), I am more than happy to help to the best of my abilities. During check-ins I see how the dog is doing both physically and emotionally, being sure to engage with them to help break up the monotony of sitting alone or being understimulated for extended periods of time.

About: -Worked for an Animal Chiropractor for 4 years, I also was hired to pet sit some of my clients fur babies. -Worked doggy day care and was a kennel technician at a pet resort for 2 years - interned at a wolf sanctuary for 1 year -volunteered at a free roam cat shelter for 2 years I work remotely as a customer service representative, so I'm home throughout the day and have a flexible schedule to provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and potty breaks. I'm also an avid traveler, so I don't currently have pets of my own. Rover is the perfect way for me to enjoy the companionship I've been missing while giving your pet lots of love, care, and attention in a safe, comfortable environment. I currently reside in an apartment that boasts a secure, gated courtyard in the complex. Also, there is great walking and parks in my area.

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I’m new to Nashville and finding Rakya was such a blessing! My baby is an old lady so it’s been a task finding someone that gives her the same loving that she gets at home but my baby had a TIME during her stay. She was just as happy and seemed at home with Rakya and that just shows how much of an amazing environment that was created. 10/10 would recommend and am definitely booking again!”
