About: I have taken care of a large variety of animals throughout my lifetime. My sweet childhood dog, Fluffy, lived a beautiful 17 years, whom I just said goodbye to. In addition to her, I have taken care of many local family friends dogs with various size/ages/medical needs. I am currently in between jobs and am available during weekdays during the daytime. Open to longer/overnight needs for short periods. Currently have generally open availability. I am unable to have dogs at my residence, but am able to travel to residences. About: As a lifetime dog and cat owner, dog walker at a local animal shelter, and puppy foster, I am extremely passionate about animal welfare and very experienced. I have cared for senior dogs, including our family’s beloved boxer-pitt mix who passed in May of 2025, and I currently help my mom wrangle her 120 pound Great Dane named Moose. I fostered puppies of all ages and sizes (and their mamas too on rare occasions) and am very comfortable with all the ups-and-downs of puppy ownership. All that to say, there is no age, size, or energy level range that I haven’t encountered! I don’t mind if your pup needs me to take them out at 3am to potty, needs food that requires 30 minutes of preparation beforehand, or has a medication routine that requires a lot of hiding things in peanut butter. It’s all standard protocol for me! I’d love to meet your pets and give you the peace of mind that they are deeply loved and cared for when they’re with me. I work full-time M-F 7am-4pm, but am able to work from home when needed. I would try to work from home as much as possible when scheduled to petsit, and on days where that is not possible, take half days. My job is thankfully very flexible! I am someone who would rather be overly-cautious to a sometimes ridiculous degree. I will take every precaution to keep your pet and home safe and in a comfortable environment. I am knowledgeable about the health and safety issues when it comes to young puppies and vaccinations/decreasing parvo risk. I've cared for animals for as long as I can remember—from helping family and friends with their pets to raising my own dog. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave your furry family member in someone else's care, which is why I make it my priority to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both you and your pup. When your dog is with me, they'll be treated like one of my own. I believe communication is one of the most important parts of pet sitting, so I'll send regular photo and video updates along with messages about our adventures, walks, naps, meals, and all the tail wags in between. I live in a community with plenty of green space and walking paths, making it perfect for exercise and sniff-filled adventures. If your dog enjoys getting out and exploring, I'm also happy to visit local parks or dog-friendly trails (with your approval) to keep them active and engaged. Because I work from home, your dog will rarely be alone and will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. My flexible work schedule allows me to maintain your dog's routine, provide frequent potty breaks, and give them the companionship, exercise, and affection they deserve. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable, loved, and right at home while giving you peace of mind that they're receiving attentive, personalized care all day long. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My home is a clean, pet-friendly environment where your pup can relax, play, and feel right at home. They'll have cozy places to rest, a variety of toys to keep them entertained, and—of course—plenty of love and the occasional treat (with your approval!). Your dog will also have a built-in companion during their stay. I have a calm, friendly, 5-year-old Lab mix named Jake who loves meeting new dogs and is great at helping them feel comfortable. I always introduce dogs thoughtfully and make sure everyone is getting along before allowing them to play together. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. “For leaving our dogs with someone that wasn't family for the 1st time ever, Stefanie was AMAZING! Super sweet and worked well with our little traveling hiccups! She loved our dogs like her own and they were definitely spoiled the entire time during their stay! She was also really good at photographing them, so if you want cute professional pics of your dogs while on vacation I highly recommend leaving them with Stefanie. We'll for sure be using her again!”
“Brian is amazing. We brought him rowdy who is a puppy and into everything and still learning and Brian sent pics every few hours and we felt so comfortable with him. We hadn't been able to get rowdy to go for a real walk and when we went to pick rowdy up,we got to see Brian and him doing a morning jog. He's truly amazing. If yall want someone reliable,loving,active and that you can trust with your baby let Brian watch them!!! He's great.”
