About: I have had cats all of my life, including starys that I adopted, and all have lived long, healthy lives. I am able to administer medications and even did shots for a diabetic cat. I don’t mind changing litter boxes and have a good system for my own cats so they always have a clean litter box. I often house & cat sit for my sister, who travels a lot. She usually has 2-5 indoor cats and also cares for several outdoor stary cats. She often finds them homes too. Her cats usually have different food needs and feeding schedules so I know how to separate cats who need different care. I don’t mind clipping nails, except one of my sister’s cats who won’t have it. I know how to transport cats and work with "difficult cats”. I produced several “Pet Care” series for HGTV, the DIY Network and TNN television shows, working with experts and veterinarians, including Dr. Craig Prior, owner of the Murphy Road Animal Hospital and a very popular vet in Nashville. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. About: I love dogs!!! I’ve been a dog mom to Rocco, my senior rescue, for 5 years now. He is the sweetest, most affectionate, most social baby on the planet :) Being a dog mom has been the greatest joy of my life. We started Rover dog sitting in 2023, and we absolutely LOVE it!!! I’m home pretty much all day so I’m available most of the time to be with your dog. I sometimes check on other dogs and cats in the neighborhood, I might be gone for 30-60 mins. I do have a senior dog, he is pretty low energy at this point. So if you have a dog that can match his energy, and wants to couch snuggle with us, then this will be a great fit for you! My intention for caring for dogs is peace, harmony, safety, and love :) We take multiple dogs at a time, so if this is comfortable for you then yay! We’re looking to care for calm, quiet, peaceful, properly socialized, and well-behaved dogs :) We prefer dogs above 2 years old :) Drop-off times are between 7:30am and 8pm. Pick-up times are between 8:30am and 10pm. Thank you for understanding! I can also do pickups and drop offs if needed! I know how important it is that your pup feel loved, safe, and comfortable while their parents are away. I am ready and able to give that to them. I also have a small, fenced-in backyard. Rocco and I walk twice a day so I’ll be sure to bring your dog with us! Since my work isn’t a traditional 9-to-5, I’m able to easily fit walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pup into my day. I also plan ahead for studio sessions and other commitments, so your dog will always receive dependable, unrushed care and attention. I live in a clean, comfortable townhouse apartment where pets are treated like part of the family. Although I don’t have a private yard, there is a park and walking path right next door for frequent potty breaks, exercise, and outdoor time. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any safety instructions provided by their owner. I also have a very friendly German Shepherd named Bella, so boarding pets should be comfortable around other dogs. I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe and gets along well!
