She not only came out to greet us, she helped me get both dogs and their things out of the car. I asked for a specific photo of one dog for instagram and she did a whole little photo shoot! Pretty much every day she took them to the greenway down the road for 1-2 mile walks and even helped work on their leash manners. “Victoria and Charles were fantastic. I was worried about my little Otis being anxious about being left as he has serious separation anxiety ( OK, we both do ! ) but as Victoria and I were chatting - Otis happily bouncing around exploring her and Charles' lovely lawn she teased him over for a pet and before I knew it he was in her arms - looking very happy I might add! I had a few things to transfer from my car to my sons - typically high stress time for me, trying to keep track of Otis - who won't get more than a step or two away, so I don't step on him. He just go cozier and cozier and sunk lower and lower into Victoria's arm. I guess I wasn't surprised to receive a photo by text, of him laying in her lap before it was even dark out. Pick up was easy - Victoria and Charles' garage door were open and it was lit like a beacon in the rainy night - just a quick report from Victoria ( he's fine ! ) as it was a long day and we were on our way. This is my first chance to reach out and its been three days - sorry guys! Do you need a sitter? Are Victoria and Charles available? Book them!! ( I'd even settle for just Charles : 0 : o : ) . Victoria and Charles are my first choice - looking forward to letting Otis trim their lawn again.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire adult life. My three dogs live inside and are treated like part of the family (because they are). I worked a couple of years as a big dog camp counselor, but am now retired. I have a secure privacy fence in backyard, and a designated “doggie bedroom” in my house. As a retiree and a homebody, my daily routine already revolves around my dogs. We have a standard schedule throughout the day with many play and potty breaks outside. As mentioned above, I have a privacy fence in my backyard so the pups can play and potty securely. They are never without supervision. I will crate if needed.

About: I've been dogsitting since I could drive at 16. I have worked at multiple kennels, one specializing in young, high-energy working dogs, and the other specializing in aggressive and fear-reactive dogs with bite histories. I have also dogsat for dogs with bite histories, high-energy breeds, low-energy breeds, dogs with health issues, dogs who have had no training, and dogs who have had lots of training. I will have a part-time internship near Maryville this summer, as well as an online summer class. I will have plenty of time to care for your pets around these activities! I can work half-shifts at my internship (~4 hours) and all I need for my class is Wi-Fi access and somewhere to sit. I am familiar with giving dogs medications, even the reluctant dogs. I am also well-versed in dog body language and behavior, and am comfortable dealing with pets who are fearful. I am not afraid of large dogs! I love the big dogs, and am comfortable with breeds up to and including Great Danes, Mastiffs, Wolfhounds, Newfies, etc. I am used to dog training as well, and am more than willing to maintain any training rules you may have for your dog. My personal dog is a certified therapy dog (she will not be accompanying while dogsitting). I love training, but have no certifications, just dog training kennel experience.

About: I had a Bichon Frise from age of 8 to 19. I have taken care of my friend’s bulldog and golden doodle for a year or so and I have also dog sat wheaten doodles and labradors. About: I was an accredited dog trainer with Petsmart. Now I am a veterinary assistant in school to be a veterinary technician. I have kennel experience and I foster dogs from rescues and shelters. I begin my new job July 6th so I am open to board/house sit/train. I will be working 8am-5pm at the local animal shelter as the veterinary assistant. So I can also train dogs after work. I was the dog trainer at Petsmart I also worked home health care for many years. I was a cna for 16 years prior to switching to dog training. I had a change of heart and decided to change to the career I wanted to do the most which was work with dogs. I am a dog trainer and we can do in home training or meet at the park for training. No flexi leads we can use a 20 foot training leash if having room to run is an issue for you.
