“After unfortunately, needing a sitter for my dog exactly one week before I left town for Christmas and everywhere else as full. I had the pleasure of booking with Kayahja over Christmas week. Honestly, she was a godsend and the best sitter I’ve ever had for my pup Bentley. From the start, he was so comfortable with her and her three adorable dogs. She listened to every need that Bentley has and he had the best time with her. She was very communicative and sent me daily updates, photos and videos of Bentley reassuring that he was having the best time. Kayahja treated Bentley like he was one of her own pups. Even sending him off with a big hug and his fave ball from her home. Needless to say, we have found our permanent sitter for Bentley. I highly recommend Kayahja to care for your dog!”

“Lauren was AMAZING! It was my 1st time boarding Maggie and I could not have hoped for a better experience! Maggie was treated like family and didn’t even know I was gone. “Brandon and Miranda took amazing care of our pup while we were out of town for 4 days. My husband did the initial meet and greet and he was very impressed with their professionalism. It was our very first time using Rover for boarding and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We received daily pictures of our puppy and they were very accommodating to her schedule, making sure that it was similar to her routine at home. We truly felt comfortable leaving our sweet girl with Brandon and Miranda and not once did we question our decision. We plan to be repeat clients whenever possible :)”

“Savannah was awesome with Diesel! He stayed with her for a few weeks and was well taken care of. She communicated very often on his well being and felt she truly cared for him as much as we do. Highly recommend”

Minnie stayed for one night, went on her walks, and I felt completely confident she was in good hands. If we’re ever back in Nashville, we would definitely book Emily again. Highly recommend!”

“Leah was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond by checking in regularly and sending pictures, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. Qarl had such a great time with her, and we could tell he was well taken care of. Leah’s care and attention to detail made all the difference. We felt completely comfortable knowing Qarl was in great hands. I highly recommend Leah to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Pamela was an excellent Foster Mom for our sweet girl! She sent pictures and was even willing to hold onto her longer when a volcano opened up on our vacation to Hawaii! (Fortunately, we were able to get unscathed!) 5 ⭐️ for sure!”

About: I've had cats my entire life, so I understand they each have their own unique personalities and boundaries. I currently have three cats in my own home, and love to greet strays I meet when I'm out delivering with my other job.
“Doug was great; he went above and beyond what was expected. There is some sibling rivalry between my two cats and he made sure both of them had a chance to eat by sticking around and feeding them in separate rooms if need be. He also kept an eye on the house, and kept me informed of any suspicious activity in the neighborhood, made sure our windows were locked, took out the trash, etc. He was very communicative and responsive. This definitely made me feel more at ease during our trip. When the Microsoft crash shut all the airlines down, he reached out to see if our flight was affected and said he could keep feeding the cats if needed. I would highly recommend Doug for other pet owners, and would definitely use his services again in the future.”

“Kelly is THE best pet sitter I’ve used! I got wonderful communication every day, which specified completion of the care tasks I asked for. I got photos and videos of my cat, so I knew he was doing well. And I could tell the visits weren’t about getting out quick. It was about making sure my boy was looked after when I was away. My trust level is through the roof, which was rightly earned. I’ll be going to Kelly first whenever I need a sitter in the future. 11/10 highly recommend!”

“I was very pleased with Katherine and her pet service! She was very kind and sweet. She loved our foster kitten just like her own. She sent me texts and pics to keep me updated. I will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Sarah is always reliable and this trip, even though she got extremely sick, she kept us in the loop and received support instead of leaving our very sick cat who needs a house sitter instead of just drop ins. It was very scary to be far away with no backups, but Sarah hung in there and took care of our baby despite how sick she was.”

“We had Lisa watch our young puppy and he left with all wags and smiles! This was our first time leaving him with someone else. Lisa was amazing in making sure I felt comfortable and allowed me to visit her prior to booking. Immediately I felt at ease - she has a sweet and caring spirit and her children are great, too! Already booked our next daycare day. :)”

“Guinness stayed for 2 day care days while we toured the area and he came back exhausted and happy! We gots lots of videos and pictures and didn’t worry about him at all. There was lots of room to run and several shady areas to rest. We will be back.”

About: I grew up on a cattle farm. I have loved animals my whole life. I have had a variety of inside and outside dogs growing up. I have a through understand of animal behaviors and body language, especially in dogs. To me dogs are like children, they need to be stimulated with exercise, play, and challenges. I currently work from home and have my own dog that I care for during the day. I have a lot of time during the day and thoroughly play and walk my own dog. I have a fenced in yard in a nice walkable neighborhood in White House. I walk my own dog every morning and have scheduled play times during the day. I also work with my own pup and do continuous training with her commands. Pets are family. Everyone is allowed on the bed and furniture :)

“Lauren was so accommodating and flexible with scheduling. Super kind and gentle with our dog. She also has two well behaved dogs as well. A great “first time” for us using Rover, thanks to Lauren.”

“Sally is the epitome of what one could hope for when seeking doggie day care. I was traveling through Nashville and needed my pup cared for. She not only accommodated my last minute booking, she ensured he was comfy, exercised and loved. He’s a senior dog and pretty attached to me but he was putty in her hands. I highly recommend Sally and will certainly see her again when I come through Nashville!”

“I am so grateful for Allison and the way things just happened to align in short time given that I was traveling from out of state and needed day care for my dog. Allison was so incredibly warm, supportive and sensitive to my dogs needs, and communicated throughout the two days of care she provided. Would absolutely recommend her and prioritize her when I roll through town again!”

“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

“Odette was the first sitter I've ever used. I was very nervous at first, but she is amazing! Very communicative, aware of my dogs specific needs, and super nice. I feel very lucky to have found her.”

“My doberman had a great day of socializing with Phoenix the Rottweiler. They played really well together. I am looking forward to more visits to help my pup not be so reactive to other pups in public.”

“Hayley was perfect for my two puppies! I had surgery so she kept them during the day and afternoon. They came home tired and content. Can’t ask for anything better. So appreciative of her.”

About: Before becoming a mom, I lived dogs and learning dog training. It was my passion. Certified with 16hrs continued training, apprenticeships, 1yr experience at a large veterinarian hospital, certified in dog first aid, studied dog psychology, along with several of my own on the side dogs I have personally owned and trained or helped others to train- to say I have years of experience is more than just helping friends and family along the way. I was on the way to becoming a full time dog trainer before having children put a pause on it. Now that my children are getting older, I am ready to get back at it and start sharing my passion and experience with others again. There is nothing like being able to help others understand and know how to work with their fur babies better. Seeing the light and joy in both the dog and the owners eyes once a new skill is unlocked or a problem is resolved or simply helping someone out by getting in an extra walk for their pup while they are at work, I enjoy all of it! Age has no boundaries on learning! I have worked with puppies all the way up to seniors! Pure breeds of all kinds with so many mixed rescues too! No dog is beyond change or learning! If you have any further questions about my abilities, please feel free to reach out! I am happy to answer any and all questions or do a meet and greet. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your babies as I have cared for mine! Currently a stay at home mom, I am quite flexible during the weekdays. I am available to make sure your pup gets well taken care of. Safety of your pet is my utmost priority. Consistency to routine is also important. So if there is a certain way you like things done in regards to feeding or care, please feel free to let me know.
About: Hi! I’m a local mom living on a mini farm in Goodlettsville with my husband, son, two dogs, and ten chickens. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and we spend most of our days outside exploring, playing, and staying active. My son absolutely loves animals and is a wonderful little helper. He accompanies me about 90% of the time, so if your dog or cat prefers a child-free environment or isn’t comfortable around kids, please let me know and we can discuss whether we’re a good fit. We love getting out and doing fun activities, whether that’s neighborhood walks, playing in the yard, walking to coffee, or even taking your pup on an adventure to a dog park (with your permission, of course!). If your pet prefers a slower pace, we’re equally happy to provide snuggles, backyard or indoor playtime, and companionship at home. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’ll treat your dog or cat like one of our own—with plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and updates while you’re away. We have a sweet newborn baby so I’m home 24/7 to be with your pup giving treats and snuggles and making sure all their needs are met. We have a fenced in front yard waiting for your pup to explore! We also have two friendly dogs for your pup to play with!

About: I am the youngest of 4 girls and we always got the same pets together. But for some reason, my pets always lived the longest! I like to think its because I took the time to train, play and love on my pets. My first pet was when I was 7: a hermit crab. Then a finch, a parakeet, a hamster and a rabbit. My hamster even knew his name, Ted, like a teddy bear. So when all the hamsters escaped their cage, only Ted came back! When my family got our first dog, Kovu, I quickly became his best friend (after my dad, of course). I taught him sit, down, shake, spin and roll over. We got a second dog, Hercules, who I taught all those tricks to as well as beg! Herc was a little more agile than Hunky Kovu. Kovu went on to learn how to retrieve their dog bowls for dinner and to help carry bags of trash to the trashcan or groceries to the house. As Herc got older, he became more anxious. So I’d give him extra cuddles every 4th of July and put on his vest that felt like a hug around him. Both Kovu and Herc have gone on to Dog Heaven after 14 years of life each. And I’ve gone on to live with a roommate with a very skiddish, anxious dog to owning two rescues with my Husband, Jax and Milo. They too, know all the tricks I taught my family dogs and have learned to be great around our 6-month old baby. I’m working part time in the early morning hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Otherwise, I am free pretty much all day to care for your fur babies. If you have a fenced yard, I’ll make sure to get them plenty outside time for play. If not, I’m happy to take them for walks throughout the day. I’ll make sure to clean up after them so your home stays nice and tidy while you are away. I can give them a bath if needed and time for tricks and treats if you allow!
“We love Kyla, esp Dent! He is super excited when she arrives and loves his walks. Kyla is prompt and dependable. She is flexible with our very inconsistent schedules. Love our updates and photos from each walk - always sharing them with my co-workers!”

About: I am experienced in pet sitting! I have many friends who I’ve pet sat for as a favor and have always loved animals. I also have a cat at home and have grown up with both cats and dogs. Would be happy to help you with any of your pet needs! I am a stay at home mom with a 2 year old. He is in school part time so I have plenty of availability to come at a moments notice to help with any of your pets needs. I am very respectful of my clients and their space. I am engaged and helpful with the pets and even clean and organize while I’m there (if requested). I am a mom, and pet mom, so everything I do comes from a place of consideration and love.
“Mrs. Anita was GREAT! This was my first time leaving my Freenie with a stranger. When she came to meet Freenie, she was so loving and kind that I immediately felt comfortable with this arrangement. Mrs. Anita kept me informed through messages and pictures which put my mind at ease that my Freenie was being well taken care of. I am absolutely happy with the service that I received. I will definitely use her again.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Ashley... we were in town on vacation and she took care of our little dogs perfectly! She was caring, timely, trustworthy and the dogs enjoyed her visits and being walked in our absence..... highly recommend and will reach out to her again next time we're in Nashville! Thx again Ashley!”

I currently travel all throughout Nashville and surrounding areas providing wound care to patients, so my schedule is extremely flexible and there’s a good chance I’m already in your area often. My nursing background has made me very dependable, attentive, patient, and comfortable handling routines, medications, senior pets, puppies, and anxious dogs. I’m also a dog mom myself, so I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like family, and yes, I will absolutely send you a million pictures and updates because I love getting them of my own dogs too. <3 I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week since I work as a registered nurse traveling throughout Nashville and surrounding areas providing wound care to patients in their homes. Because I’m already driving all over the city daily, I’m often able to accommodate drop-ins, walks, and check-ins in many different areas. I’m available for boarding in my home as well and will always make sure your pets get plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, love, and updates throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have two friendly dogs of my own and a fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. I understand that every pet has different needs and routines, so I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, crate routines, and any special requests to help them feel comfortable and secure. As a nurse, I’m very attentive, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented. I’ll treat them like family and send plenty of pictures and updates along the way because I know how much that means as a pet parent.
“Kelly was great! My huskies are typically rowdy and crazy on walks but she handled them great! She sent videos and pictures and kept me updated the whole time! Would def recommend”

About: I have had dogs since I was young at different periods of my life and am well experienced with caring for them. I am well versed in handling puppies and adults, but am inexperienced with senior pups. I trained my dog myself since she was a puppy. Im currently working part-time in the afternoons so I will be available to care for your pets throughout the day. I am available all week, but will be unavailable Mondays-Fridays from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. My weekends are flexible and open. I will be unable to do full-day sitting since I have my own dog that will need to be taken care off, but I can pop in multiple times throughout the day. I am able to follow any and all instructions and necessities listed for your pups like feeding schedules, potty schedules, medications, etc. I will not be able to sit within my own home since I live with other people/animals and wish to be courteous to them.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for several years and truly enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality. What sets me apart is my experience with both puppies and senior pets, and my ability to adapt to different needs and energy levels. With puppies, I’ve helped with everything from crate training and leash walking to basic obedience and building good habits early on. For senior pets, I’m comfortable administering medication, assisting with mobility, and providing a calm, comforting presence. I’m attentive, reliable, and always focused on making pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their people are away. I treat every pet like they’re my own—and I always make sure we have a little fun, too! (Plus, I’m pretty good at snapping cute photos of your pets!) I’m available for early morning, lunchtime, and evening visits during the week, which works great for pets who thrive on a consistent routine. I also have full availability on weekends, so I can be more flexible for longer visits, walks, or extra playtime when needed.

Lauren was communicative the entire time with updates , pics and videos. I highly recommend! We will be visiting Lauren and Maggie’s new family often!!”

“Juniper and I love Ashley! She is the best and always send such good pictures! Her pups also play with Juni and make sure she comes home nice and sleepy!”

“Emily was fantastic with Minnie! Her home is incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of beds, blankets, and a great backyard for play.

“Haley & Ryan took great care of Huck while we were out of the country and sent us pictures and updates each day. It’s so hard to leave your pet but in certain situations it’s unavoidable. It sure makes it easier when you know they’re being treated well. Thanks again!”

“Jessica communicated so well all week while watching our baby! I was nervous to leave him for so long but she sent updates and pictures and answered so fast!! Would recommend her for the anxious doggy parents and will book again!!!”

“Moneissa was amazing! She really cared for Bow, making him a special stocking since she watched him during the holiday. We got plenty of updates and had no doubts he was so happy. We will definitely use her again!”

“Brynn did a wonderful job keeping our 16 year old Maize comfortable while we were out of town. Brynn shared some great photos keeping us informed. One would make a great Christmas card. Thank you again Brynn. Merry Christmas!”

“My puppy's stay with Austin was fantastic, and he took amazing care of her. This was her first time staying with anyone but family, and Austin was incredibly patient with her and her adjustments to a new environment. I got pictures and updates every day, and she got amazing personal attention and care. I would definitely recommend Austin.”

“Dianne was great with my dog Tahoe! She was always super responsive and sending regular updates or photos of him. I could tell Tahoe felt very at home and safe with her which was a huge relief to me while I was away for the week! Would absolutely reach out to Dianne again the next time Tahoe needs a sitter!”
