There is some sibling rivalry between my two cats and he made sure both of them had a chance to eat by sticking around and feeding them in separate rooms if need be. He also kept an eye on the house, and kept me informed of any suspicious activity in the neighborhood, made sure our windows were locked, took out the trash, etc. He was very communicative and responsive. This definitely made me feel more at ease during our trip. When the Microsoft crash shut all the airlines down, he reached out to see if our flight was affected and said he could keep feeding the cats if needed. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. About: I grew up on a cattle farm. I have loved animals my whole life. I have had a variety of inside and outside dogs growing up. I have a through understand of animal behaviors and body language, especially in dogs. To me dogs are like children, they need to be stimulated with exercise, play, and challenges. I currently work from home and have my own dog that I care for during the day. I have a lot of time during the day and thoroughly play and walk my own dog. I have a fenced in yard in a nice walkable neighborhood in White House. I walk my own dog every morning and have scheduled play times during the day. I also work with my own pup and do continuous training with her commands. Pets are family. Everyone is allowed on the bed and furniture :)

About: What sets me apart is my love for animals. i have had and took care of many myself. Also, my attentiveness towards your furry baby will make them feel loved and cared for. About: Before becoming a mom, I lived dogs and learning dog training. It was my passion. Certified with 16hrs continued training, apprenticeships, 1yr experience at a large veterinarian hospital, certified in dog first aid, studied dog psychology, along with several of my own on the side dogs I have personally owned and trained or helped others to train- to say I have years of experience is more than just helping friends and family along the way. One of my dogs is medicated and I’m happy to assist you with medications if needed. I have past experience walking/ looking after my neighbors, family’s and friends dogs and cats. About: I am the youngest of 4 girls and we always got the same pets together. But for some reason, my pets always lived the longest! I like to think its because I took the time to educate, play and love on my pets. My first pet was when I was 7: a hermit crab. Then a finch, a parakeet, a hamster and a rabbit. My hamster even knew his name, Ted, like a teddy bear. So when all the hamsters escaped their cage, only Ted came back! When my family got our first dog, Kovu, I quickly became his best friend (after my dad, of course). I taught him sit, down, shake, spin and roll over. We got a second dog, Hercules, who I taught all those tricks to as well as beg! Herc was a little more agile than Hunky Kovu. Kovu went on to learn how to retrieve their dog bowls for dinner and to help carry bags of trash to the trashcan or groceries to the house. As Herc got older, he became more anxious. So I’d give him extra cuddles every 4th of July and put on his vest that felt like a hug around him. Both Kovu and Herc have gone on to Dog Heaven after 14 years of life each. And I’ve gone on to live with a roommate with a very skiddish, anxious dog to owning two rescues with my Husband, Jax and Milo. They too, know all the tricks I taught my family dogs and have learned to be great around our 3-month old baby. I’m working part time in the early morning hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Otherwise, I am free pretty much all day to care for your fur babies. If you have a fenced yard, I’ll make sure to get them plenty outside time for play. If not, I’m happy to take them for walks throughout the day. I’ll make sure to clean up after them so your home stays nice and tidy while you are away. I can give them a bath if needed and time for tricks and treats if you allow!
About: My name is Lauren and I work in the corporate pet food industry but have plenty of extra free time and would love to use it to do something I love, hanging with dogs. I currently have a beagle and Australian Shepard that I share with my husband and throughout my life I've fostered and pet sat several dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. I enjoy being outside and love getting my steps in everyday, so plenty of walks will be given. Animals have always been a passion of mine and I would love the opportunity to take care of and love on yours! I currently work full time from home with some work travel during the week. If I am traveling, I'll set my status to away but am very available when home. I currently live in a townhome that does not have a fenced in backyard, though it does have a yard I can let dogs out quickly on leashes and the neighborhood also has plenty of walking trails for long walks. In general, I let dogs roam (supervised of course) as they please and all dogs are allowed on furniture.
About: Hello! I would love to take care of your dog while you are away! We now have a sweet cavapoo so your dog needs to be friendly to other dogs. I am home all the time so your dog will receive plenty of love and attention. In order to provide individualized attention I will only house sit one dog at a time. I can take your dog for walks or they can stay home, whatever you prefer. Your dog will be treated like family in my home. My family always had small dogs so I will only house sit little guys that are good and gentle to children and our puppy. We have had experience with senior dogs and dogs that required medication. I will just need detailed instructions on how to better care for them. I look forward meeting you and your sweet little pet. We are usually home all the time. My husband works from home, so someone will be with your dog at all times except rare exceptions. We have a fenced yard and your dog will always be supervised. We also put gates on the front porch when a dog is visiting to avoid runaways. We have a friendly small Cavapoo so your dogs needs to get along with other dogs.

For safety, I do require that all dogs be comfortable around young children. If any concerns come up, I’ll contact you right away to make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable. Your pet will be well cared for here. 🐾 I work full time at Vanderbilt University and operate on a hybrid schedule, giving me consistent availability throughout the week. With my 2 boys in daycare during the day, I am able to dedicate focused, uninterrupted time to your pet. My husband is also able to work from home on the days I am in office. I care for pets the same way I care for my own, with consistency, attention, and a calm, safe environment. I have an 8-year-old golden retriever, so I’m very used to daily routines, reading dog behavior, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and secure. For walks, I follow your dogs pace or can follow your instructions and handle them exactly how your dog is used to. For boarding, pets become part of our home. We have a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and a walkable neighborhood for regular walks. I supervise interactions closely and make sure every dog has space to relax or play depending on their personality. My golden retriever is friendly and helps new dogs settle in, but I always prioritize a calm, controlled environment.
