She not only came out to greet us, she helped me get both dogs and their things out of the car. Throughout the week she sent us constant updates of their shenanigans with both cute and funny pictures of them. I asked for a specific photo of one dog for instagram and she did a whole little photo shoot! Pretty much every day she took them to the greenway down the road for 1-2 mile walks and even helped work on their leash manners. We are working on getting that done soon. I do have a small fence closed in around my patio so the dogs can freely hang outside with me. At night, I provide a comfortable sleeping area (crate if preferred) or free range indoors to pick their own comfy place and I always do a final potty break before bed. My home is fully pet-proofed, clean, and free of hazards. I’ve cared for several friends’ and family dogs overnight and for extended stays, including high-energy young dogs to calmer senior pups and even stage in between. I send regular updates and photos if desired so owners can relax knowing their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: Growing up I lived on a farm with lots of shelties. I used to participate in agility with my dogs and I love going for walks and being active. I'm comfort with dogs and cats. I've just been around dogs more. I like cats especially cuddly ones. I'm currently working Part-time. I'm available Mondays and some Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I'm flexible and want to work with your schedule to care for your fur baby. I will follow detailed instructions. I have a fenced in back yard and keep the grass cut. About: I have experience with all different types of pets and have paid experience the past six years. I will make sure your pet stays on their routine and feels happy and loved while you’re away. During sits my wife tends to join me. She’s also very experienced with animals and has farm and exotic animal experience. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I am happy to adjust this. I am taking some time to start my own business with my wife. So there’s plenty of time and attention to go around. Most of my work can be scheduled around Rover. If I am housesitting however I may have to leave for a few hours at a time but usually no longer than 3 or 4 so that your pet gets the maximum amount of attention possible. Safety is always a top priority and your pups will always be kept on the same type of schedule they have when they are with you to ensure they aren’t thrown off their routine when you return.

About: I am a caring and attentive individual who absolutely loves my pets and treats them like family. Located near the Foothills of the Smoky Mountains. My home is the perfect home away from home for you pet while you enjoy your vacation. I occasionally care for my neighbors pets with drop in visits at their home when they are out of town. I am home all day with my fur babies. I would be able to care for your pet and give it all the attention and love it needs. I have a fence, but not completely closed. We are working on getting that done soon. I do have a small fence closed in around my patio so the dogs can freely hang outside with me. During potty breaks I will make sure to have your pet out with a leash at all times. I have 2 friendly dogs as well. If your pet needs to be crated I can do that also.

“Ann kept my two babies a ( 1 year old German Shorthair Pointer) & ( 6 year old German Shepard) as my daughter and I went on our yearly Turkey Hunt. My Dogs have never been left with anyone and I could tell by the photos Ann sent that they was having fun. Which made my experience away from them easier knowing they was being cared for. Ann wanted to know about the dogs and she even asked if they liked to do certain things which made me feel comfortable picking her, she showed interest in the animal and not just the income. We have a two week vacation planned in June and several other weekends away that we cant take the dogs, so I will defiantly be using Ann for my fur babies care while I am away!”
