About: As a military spouse I have helped care for our dogs and many of our neighbors dogs as well. From large to small, I love dogs of all kinds. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs, and our own dog loves the company of other dogs. I am a mom and am in nursing school, but pet care is the highlight of my day. I’m excited to open my door (and heart) to your pup for day visits or overnights. I have one super tough 6 pound Shihtzu-Chihuahua in the house so your pups must be friendly with other dogs. A few days before the stay, they invited me over for a meet-and-greet so I could get a feel for their home, meet them, and introduce my dog to their sweet pup, Lana. The moment I walked in, I knew they were the right people. Their space was welcoming, safe, and dog-friendly, and their kind energy instantly put me at ease. Throughout the stay, they went above and beyond. They sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which made me smile every time. It was so comforting to see my dog happy, relaxed, and having a blast with Lana. When my dog didn’t want to eat at first, they reached out right away and kept me posted until she finally finished her dinner—something I really appreciated as a nervous first-timer. When I picked her up, she was completely worn out—in the best way! After three days of nonstop play and attention, she came home happy, tired, and clearly had the time of her life. Samuel and Erica treated my dog exactly how I would want her to be treated—with love, patience, and genuine care. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I’ve done everything from fostering to raising litters of puppies and kittens. I’m an active person so there is no shortage of playtime. I’m very dedicated to providing the love and support pets need! Caring for pets is always a priority of mine as I currently own a dog and cat myself. I work part time so my schedule is very flexible. I have a spare bedroom in my house with a large mattress for pets to rest on. There is space for a crate if needed. My backyard is very spacious. My area is fairly quiet as I live outside the city. I also have a very friendly dog and cat so your pets can have new friends (can be separated if needed).
