About: I’m a local college student with a super flexible schedule and exited attitude to help out whenever I can! I love animals and have been taking care of them since I was around 10. I have experienced house sitting and also watching pets from my own home. I currently don’t have pets of my own making it a great environment to offer my home up to help others. When I met with David the day I brought my dog over he was very calm and understanding as my dog became more comfortable around the new environment. While I was away for vacation he sent daily pictures of my dog sleeping in her own bed that I had brought and assuring me that she was doing well. I was very pleased with my experience using this couple as dog sitters for me and should I need a sitter in the future, I will seek David out first if he is available before going to anyone else. About: I have cared for pets of all ages over the years and adopted a pup of my own about two years ago. He’s up to date on all vaccinations and loves other dogs. I have experience with giving medications to animals, caring for both puppies and older pups, and my apartment is hardwood floors so accidents aren’t a problem! I am a graduate assistant and in grad school. This means that I word pretty weird hours and I do a lot of work remotely. I’m home anywhere between 8 hours to 24 hours a day and can rearrange my schedule depending on the needs of the animal. There is a dog park nearby and it’s a safe area. For my pup, and pups I’ve boarded/cared for before, I traditionally feed them in the AM and give them plenty of water. We go to the dog park to start the day and get the energy out. I make sure to leave dog-safe toys on the floor so they know they have stuff to play with and I dog proof the apartment before I leave each time so they don’t get into things they shouldn’t. We go out later in the day to the dog park again to socialize or get the zoomies going. We go back and have a little more food or a snack and then hang out before going out on a walk to end the day. I'm working full-time in ministry so I have lots of time throughout the day to care for your loved one and will be gone no more than a few hours per evening for bible studies and groups. I take my dog, Tonka, out 5-6 times per day minimum and we love to go on walks and be outdoors. I have a large field directly behind my apartment and live in a very pet-friendly area tucked off the main road so your pup will enjoy lots of safe and supervised outside time! I allow animals on the furniture and keep all choking hazards up high. My dog has a knack for finding even the smallest things to mess with so I have good practice with keeping a safe home.
About: As a military spouse I have helped care for our dogs and many of our neighbors dogs as well. From large to small, I love dogs of all kinds. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs, and our own dog loves the company of other dogs. I am a mom and am in nursing school, but pet care is the highlight of my day. My schedule is open during weekends during the school semester, and outside of that I'm fulltime at home. I have a fenced in yard and a dog and cat friendly home. I also have children at home, but they are 10 and up. I’m currently working weekdays from 10am to 4pm, however my MWF are outside of Johnson City by at least 30 minutes. Tuesdays and Thursdays are available to short walks and drop-in around the Johnson City area. I look forward to creating new relationships with clients and their fur babies! My schedule is currently fully open with it being summer time and I’m looking to fill this time with new bookings! I am able to give my full attention to the pet and can adapt to their needs! I have a fenced in yard and live in a great neighborhood to walk in. I also do no have pets only own making it easier to watch your pet as well! I always want to put the pets needs first and make sure they are getting quality care!

“David and his wife are both very trustworthy and safe people to board your pet with. My dog had never been left with another home in the 12 years I've had her and I was worried how she would do. When I met with David the day I brought my dog over he was very calm and understanding as my dog became more comfortable around the new environment. While I was away for vacation he sent daily pictures of my dog sleeping in her own bed that I had brought and assuring me that she was doing well. I was very pleased with my experience using this couple as dog sitters for me and should I need a sitter in the future, I will seek David out first if he is available before going to anyone else. My dog was happy and healthy and clean when I picked her up just as I had dropped her off. I definitely recommend this couple on Rover.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Samuel and Erica! This was my first time boarding my dog, and I was incredibly nervous—but they made the entire experience amazing from start to finish. A few days before the stay, they invited me over for a meet-and-greet so I could get a feel for their home, meet them, and introduce my dog to their sweet pup, Lana. The moment I walked in, I knew they were the right people. Their space was welcoming, safe, and dog-friendly, and their kind energy instantly put me at ease. Throughout the stay, they went above and beyond. They sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which made me smile every time. It was so comforting to see my dog happy, relaxed, and having a blast with Lana. When my dog didn’t want to eat at first, they reached out right away and kept me posted until she finally finished her dinner—something I really appreciated as a nervous first-timer. When I picked her up, she was completely worn out—in the best way! After three days of nonstop play and attention, she came home happy, tired, and clearly had the time of her life. Samuel and Erica treated my dog exactly how I would want her to be treated—with love, patience, and genuine care. They communicated wonderfully, kept me in the loop the whole time, and truly felt like people I could trust completely. I’ll absolutely be booking with them again. Highly, highly recommend!”
