Making sure anything is put away that can be broken or torn; I always call it baby proofing the house because if it’s baby proofed it’s pet proof, as long as no baby toys are around lol. “I cannot say enough good things about Samuel and Erica! This was my first time boarding my dog, and I was incredibly nervous—but they made the entire experience amazing from start to finish. A few days before the stay, they invited me over for a meet-and-greet so I could get a feel for their home, meet them, and introduce my dog to their sweet pup, Lana. The moment I walked in, I knew they were the right people. Their space was welcoming, safe, and dog-friendly, and their kind energy instantly put me at ease. Throughout the stay, they went above and beyond. They sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which made me smile every time. It was so comforting to see my dog happy, relaxed, and having a blast with Lana. When my dog didn’t want to eat at first, they reached out right away and kept me posted until she finally finished her dinner—something I really appreciated as a nervous first-timer. When I picked her up, she was completely worn out—in the best way! After three days of nonstop play and attention, she came home happy, tired, and clearly had the time of her life. Samuel and Erica treated my dog exactly how I would want her to be treated—with love, patience, and genuine care. They communicated wonderfully, kept me in the loop the whole time, and truly felt like people I could trust completely. I’ll absolutely be booking with them again. Highly, highly recommend!”

“David and his wife are both very trustworthy and safe people to board your pet with. My dog had never been left with another home in the 12 years I've had her and I was worried how she would do. When I met with David the day I brought my dog over he was very calm and understanding as my dog became more comfortable around the new environment. While I was away for vacation he sent daily pictures of my dog sleeping in her own bed that I had brought and assuring me that she was doing well. I was very pleased with my experience using this couple as dog sitters for me and should I need a sitter in the future, I will seek David out first if he is available before going to anyone else. My dog was happy and healthy and clean when I picked her up just as I had dropped her off. I definitely recommend this couple on Rover.”
