About: I'm a mature pet/house sitter who will take great care of your pets and leave your house as clean as you left it and perhaps cleaner. I stay at your house every night leaving only for errands or a lunch/dinner out. I enjoy getting your pet outside for walks and play. I have taken care of cats, goats, chickens, horses, a mule and a donkey, I don't mind getting my hands dirty. I am retired so I am very flexible but prefer a few days notice, however if you need a pet/house sitter on a same day notice it's possible I can accommodate you. I have a minimum 2 night stay requirement, also, if you need just one evening that is a possibility as well, it just depends on where you are located. I will care for your pet in your home in the way that you instruct me to. If you have special commands I will need to know about them. About: Since I was a kid I have always loved animals. I have always had a dog and currently it’s a big German shepherd named Major! I have taught him lots of tricks and love to take time and love and play with him. I would absolutely love the opportunity to take care of other pets as well. I firmly believe that all creatures need all the love and I’m happy to give it! I know how stressful it can be to choose someone to watch your dog and now that I have retired a bit early, I can focus on providing the love and care your dog deserves. I have had plenty of pets over the years, with the most recent one living to be 16 years old. Now I care for my children's pets when they go out of town! All dogs seem to be drawn to me and I practically live by the saying that "dogs are a good judge of character." I've retired early so I would love nothing more than to spend more time with animals. About: Currently a college nursing student I have had cats, dogs (ranging 10-70lbs), and both small to large sized parrots. I absolutely adore my fur/feathered babies and want to combine that passion as an enjoyable part time job! See “what to expect” for more info on specific care for my personal pets ! I am currently a full time college student so during weekdays pet care would be 3pm forward (some weekdays may be 12pm due to earlier classes). Weekends I am 90% available for any time of day/night. For my dogs (yorkie/small terrier mix ~20lbs) I have a fenced yard and they receive prescription dog food 2x day, with usually morning car rides and daily play. For my cats they receive morning play and exercise wheel time and morning kibble. At night they receive wet canned food and use a water fountain. Once a week they will get a car ride and a walk on harness or in stroller weather permitting. I also have 2 small and 2 large parrots they have toys and get daily engagement with pets, music, toys, etc. I also have experience in care for ducks/geese. I do not have other farm animal experience but would be willing to do a feeding drop in according to owners wishes providing this is a rural area!!

I even cared for horses out in Montana.I work remotely while traveling and pet sitting around the world. It's been several years of caring for animals and 3 years of full time travel. I am more than willing to ask questions to be best prepared when caring for your animals and will pay special attention to any instructions you have for their scheduled medication, feeding routines, or exercise requirements. I’m an outdoor enthusiast so any activities you’d like them to have while you’re away will be welcomed! I usually follow their routine as close as possible to decrease stress and anxiety. If pet parents do not have a routine of their own then I start days around 6:30/7:00am. I will go for a run or have outdoor time before breakfast and then have a few meetings for work. I usually only have a few hours of remote work so then I am free for the afternoon to play and get some energy out with them before dinner around 5:30/6:00pm. It really depends on their age and the needs, but there will be plenty of play and snuggles so they feel comfortable with our time. I usually go to their homes and try to make sure they stay on their schedule with meals, play time, and treats. I watch out for anything that could be torn up or wind up in their mouths also. I want them to feel calm and comfortable with me so I give them space if needed, but this more applies to cats that would rather lounge unbothered.

I have been through the house training process and more with puppies and have also been through a few professional classes with my own Australian Shepard. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes and have been providing house sitting services over the last few years. I have a minimum 2 night stay requirement, also, if you need just one evening that is a possibility as well, it just depends on where you are located. I will care for your pet in your home in the way that you instruct me to. If you have special commands I will need to know about them. If you would like to meet me before starting your job we can schedule a FaceTime chat or I can meet face to face with reasonable notice.

About: I’ve had animals all my life, and would watch my friends pets growing up too. I’ve had everything from giant breads to little dogs and love them all. We have cats and dogs of our own. So it is part of our daily routine for feedings, potty breaks, and going for walks. We treat our fur babies as part of our family and make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve! We have a fenced in backyard, and our dogs are friendly. We also have the space to make sure they feel at home and welcomed.
