About: I’ve had animals all my life, and would watch my friends pets growing up too. I’ve had everything from giant breads to little dogs and love them all. We have cats and dogs of our own. So it is part of our daily routine for feedings, potty breaks, and going for walks. We treat our fur babies as part of our family and make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve! About: I'm a mature pet/house sitter who will take great care of your pets and leave your house as clean as you left it and perhaps cleaner. I stay at your house every night leaving only for errands or a lunch/dinner out. I enjoy getting your pet outside for walks and play. I have taken care of cats, goats, chickens, horses, a mule and a donkey, I don't mind getting my hands dirty. I am retired so I am very flexible but prefer a few days notice, however if you need a pet/house sitter on a same day notice it's possible I can accommodate you. I have a minimum 2 night stay requirement, also, if you need just one evening that is a possibility as well, it just depends on where you are located. I will care for your pet in your home in the way that you instruct me to. If you have special commands I will need to know about them. About: I have taken care of animals since I was young. I have always had animals of all kinds- from reptiles to furry friends. I have a dog now and she is my child. I also used to work at a dog boarding facility as well. I am doing rover until I can open my own- which is my dream! I do this full time and I have a part time job but that is only a few days a week! I would take them out according to your schedule and feed them-according to their diet. I love working with animals and I assure you they will be treated as my own. I also stick to their schedule. About: Currently a college nursing student I have had cats, dogs (ranging 10-70lbs), and both small to large sized parrots. I absolutely adore my fur/feathered babies and want to combine that passion as an enjoyable part time job! See “what to expect” for more info on specific care for my personal pets ! For that I travel to areas like Jackson, Parsons, Lexington, Huntington and Paris so I can travel for your pets care! I try to be as flexible with my schedule as possible to keep pet care open, and I will communicate any scheduling conflicts or adjustments needed to pet care ASAP to before booking to ensure your pet gets the best care they deserve! For my dogs (yorkie/small terrier mix ~20lbs) I have a fenced yard and they receive prescription dog food 2x day, with usually morning car rides and daily play. For my cats they receive morning play and exercise wheel time and morning kibble. At night they receive wet canned food and use a water fountain. Once a week they will get a car ride and a walk on harness or in stroller weather permitting. I also have 2 small and 2 large parrots they have toys and get daily engagement with pets, music, toys, etc. I also have experience in care for ducks/geese. I do not have other farm animal experience but would be willing to do a feeding drop in according to owners wishes providing this is a rural area!!

I’m an outdoor enthusiast so any activities you’d like them to have while you’re away will be welcomed! I usually follow their routine as close as possible to decrease stress and anxiety. If pet parents do not have a routine of their own then I start days around 6:30/7:00am. I will go for a run or have outdoor time before breakfast and then have a few meetings for work. I usually only have a few hours of remote work so then I am free for the afternoon to play and get some energy out with them before dinner around 5:30/6:00pm. It really depends on their age and the needs, but there will be plenty of play and snuggles so they feel comfortable with our time. I usually go to their homes and try to make sure they stay on their schedule with meals, play time, and treats. I watch out for anything that could be torn up or wind up in their mouths also. I want them to feel calm and comfortable with me so I give them space if needed, but this more applies to cats that would rather lounge unbothered.
