“My Otis has separation anxiety (so I thought) so I had planned to take him over to Dennis's house 2 days in a row before leaving on the third day. The two days were not necessary because the first day immediately eased my heart and mind. Otis was immediately comfortable in their home! I walked away to for 10 minutes to see if he'd cry for me like he usually does, not a peep came out of him ❤️ Through out the trip Dennis and Sue consistently sent me pictures and in every single one he was getting showered with attention, was super comfortable and seemed so content. If I could give 10 stars I would! This will be the only sitter I choose from here on out. Thank you Sue and Dennis for taking care of my baby and for giving me peace of mind on my vacation. 🫶🏾❤️”

“WOW! So very, very grateful to have found Amy and her wonderful family! My pup-dog was so well-loved and enjoyed tons of play time, snuggles, and lots of TLC. He had such a good time and was SO happy! When the entire family stood out in the yard to wave good-bye, it was so sweet that it was very hard not to cry! I highly recommend Amy... except if I need her at the same time you do! LOL!! She's terrific!!!!”

“I just love how easy it is to contact Dana for any questions that I may have or to check up on Max. But what i really appreciate is the patience for keeping him until I can find a home. Thank you so much. I will recommend you to any and everybody.”

“Titeara took wonderful care of our Phoebe. 💜 She was very intentional about getting to know her and introducing her to the new space. She asked great questions about what would make Phoebe feel safe and happy while we were away. It’s always hard to leave behind a pet especially with someone new, but we received so many pictures and updates that demonstrated attention to our girl and care for our preferences for her. Phoebe had a great time there, and it was really great to see pictures of her daily- clearly confident, loving, and playful.”

“Adel did a great job taking care of our two cats. They were relaxed around him and he kept them on their feeding and playing schedule. He was also excellent with sending regular updates. Would definitely recommend him to others!”

“Samantha is the absolute best! We had to leave our babies without cell service for over a week. Samantha took amazing care of them, and held it down for us so we could enjoy our trip knowing they were being cared for.”

“Dana was absolutely amazing with our fur baby. This was our first time using Rover or leaving him with anyone other than trusted family so we were a little nervous. When we arrived she greeted us and was so welcoming and sweet. He doesn’t travel well, he gets nervous so he got a little sick before arriving and she was patient and kind about it all, even allowing us to use her bathroom to clean him up. It made my husband and feel better about leaving him, we had a good feeling he was in good hands. Dana was involved and she sent pictures/videos of our baby often. She even texted us daily checking in and he really seemed to enjoy his time there and it was like his own vacation. She was incredibly kind and precious with him, we will definitely keep her in mind for our next trip. If you’re looking for someone trusting, we highly recommend. My husband and I were very pleased.”

About: I don’t just “watch cats”— I understand them. From spicy, hiss-first personalities to velcro lap cats, I’ve worked with all types through years of rescue and pet sitting. I know how to read their cues, respect their boundaries, and earn their trust (on their terms). I’m experienced with multi-cat homes, senior care, and giving medications when needed. I’ve handled shy cats, overstimulated cats, and the ones who act tough but secretly just need patience and consistency. Whether your cat wants playtime, quiet companionship, or to pretend I don’t exist (rude, but respected), I’ll meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of cats for most of my adult life. I currently have one of my own, named Mochi and plan to foster with Human Society soon! Currently, I volunteer weekly at House of Mews. I have knowledge and experience in caregiving, bathing, and administering medicine. I follow directions well and will give your furry friend the best care possible.
About: I am ready to love your babies like my own! My own personal animals have all different attitudes. One is very hyper and high energy. I have two cats with very different personalities as well. I know how to handle all types of fur babies! After working a 8-4 job for years, I think it is time for something new! I am new to the area and am ready to work! I came across rover and thought it would be a perfect fit for me. I hate having to leave my own fur babies all day so I have been interested in doing dog walks and drop-ins to help others that have to be at work all day as well! I have a dog myself and know how important routine is. I spend most of my day caring for my fur babies. I will try my hardest to keep your routine as well! I can come and take your pets on walks and play with them to give them the attention that is needed. Pet care is very important to me and I will care for your babies just as if they were my own!
“Kiara did a really great job. She sent frequent updates on how my cat was doing, when she was going to be at my house/when she was leaving. I really appreciated all of the pictures as well :)”

“Lei was absolutely wonderful! Her communication was excellent. I know our pets felt at home with her. She and Chris (her husband, who is retired military) did so much more than taking care of our pets. They also watered my flowers, took our garbage to the street, notified us of a problem with our house. Lei even left the prettiest card accompanied by a tiny bunny and vase of flowers. Thank you, Lei and Chris, for your kindness and attention to detail while we were away)”

“Myla was very welcoming, we were coming to Cordva for my sons’ wedding and my sitter canceled so we were going to just book a hotel and leave Kash there, but I decided to do a look to see if there were sitters in Tennessee and came across this website( easy to use) and found Myla, book her she took care of my fur baby and I got a picture……Thank you Myla”

“Kissie was AMAZING with our dear sweet Bianca. She took her to an incredible dog park, gave her tons of TLC, and got her nice and pooped (tired) for long ride in car after her stay. Our only concern was that we didn’t think Bianca would want to come back with us 😂”

“Mark is great, he watched my puppy girl yesterday, he is very friendly and really seems to love all animals!!! I was nervous about leaving her the 1st time but, he sent several updates with pics and that relieved a lot of my stress!!! When I picked her up she was interacting with Mark, which made me feel very comfortable....they say you can tell a lot about a person by the way an animal relates to them! So...I will definitely take her back! Thanks Mark for taking such good care of my baby girl!”

“Our dog had a great time at Dalton’s. He has a nice backyard. Glad my dog also got to meet a cat. We may use him again so that she can really learn about cats.”

“Amber is so very sweet to my dog (Honey), I thought I would have to call off work because I couldn't find anyone to watch my sweet girl. Amber truly is a lifesaver thank you so much 😊”

About: I have always been an animal lover and had pets all my life. I have rescued and fostered many dogs and have also been a foster fail a few times because I became so attached. I am down to one pup now named Charlie. He is my pride and joy and he is spoiled rotten. I have volunteered at the Humane Society , been a pet sitter for many of my friends in the past. So I decided why not do it as a job and then I can be around them a lot more. So that's what I am doing. I have lots of references that will vouch that I indeed do love animals. I am retired since 2009 and do work a very part-time job. So I can give your fur babies all the attention they require and need. I can care for pets in my home as long as they would get along with my dog, Charlie. There would have to be an initial meeting first to determine that.
About: I have 20 years of experience from taking care of my own dogs to taking care of my children’s pets. I am very patient and kind with pets I am retired. I can fully dedicate my time. With being retired? I can make easier arrangements if my time to be flexible! I am happy to be of service. I have a fenced yard and a den area that dogs will be able to run around in and play all day! There is air conditioning as well inside my home and tv for them to watch shows.
“We had an emergency with our pet and could not keep the appointment and Mary was caring and considerate. I’m sorry we lost our pet and won’t be able to use her services but I highly recommend her as a human who cares lovingly for pets.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs most of my life and I love helping other families when they need the extra hands / help with them. I work at a vets office and would love to be able to help you out with taking care of your animal(s) ! If we do overnights, I can take them to work with me so they’re not alone! I have plenty of references! I will abide by any rules you have for your animals. I have a fenced in backyard as well for any who need to stay
“Dennis was wonderful keeping Henry while I had to go to the office. He took him on lots of walks and even bought him some treats since I forgot to take them. Henry came home tired and happy!”
About: From my experience in shelter care and veterinary medicine, I am very comfortable with caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and medical needs. I have dealt with strays and owned pets from every imaginable background, and I believe every animal is worthy of patience, respect, and affection. I’m currently unemployed so I have a very open schedule for watching your dogs and cats! I typically let my own dogs out about 4-5 times a day, and they each have their own feeding schedule that I attend to as needed. I am very flexible right now, and would also be available to do fluids, injections, and other specific medical and behavioral needs (e.g., extra walks, extra play time, etc.). I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs, and two sweet cats, to keep your furbaby company. I am comfortable crating dogs and have an extra crate for a small-medium dog. One of my dogs is a senior dog with special needs, so I am perfectly comfortable housing and caring for dogs who have their own special needs. I also have a dog with epilepsy so I am very used to dealing with seizures and the safety precautions that go along with them. These dogs have also never met a stranger, and our home is an overall very welcoming environment to all creatures (I even have a pet spider!).

About: I am a pet person! I’ve had dogs since I was a child and have cared for my own dogs and cats throughout my adult life. Animals have always been part of my family, and I truly love caring for fur babies of all ages and personalities. I treat every pet like my own, with patience, affection, attention, cuddles, and lots of love. I understand how important it is for pet parents to feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m known in my community for taking care of friends’ pets when they’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, supervision, walks, and companionship throughout the day. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood and love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved. My home is very pet-friendly, I have a large, fenced in backyard, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my daily life. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets are treated like family. I have a secure fenced-in backyard with plenty of green space for dogs to safely play, explore, and get exercise. About: I’ve owned different breeds of dogs from pit bulls to chihuahuas. Growing up I was the dog sitter for everyone around. I bathed walked and took care of them mostly from the comfort of their own homes as their owners were away on trips. I am between jobs rn so for the next couple weeks I am completely free any time of day any day for whatever needs my pets may need. My yard is not fenced in so outside time at my house will consist of being walked on a leash for as long as the dogs may need. But otherwise they will be inside.

About: Hi, I’m Kristen (I go by my middle name, Lauren)! I’ve been around animals before I started walking. I contribute my love of animals to my mother, who couldn’t hurt a fly. I’ve had my own animals since I was 20 years old. I work alongside my local animal shelter and have fostered for them for the last 5 years. I am also on the board of a nonprofit (Friends of the Tipton County Animal Shelter) that helps animals in our community. I have experience with dogs of all ages and most breeds. I also had a Catahoula that was born deaf and partially blind, so I have experience with dogs with disabilities as well. Big personalities? High energy? Zero manners? I’ve got it. I’ve worked with everything from zoomie-fueled chaos gremlins to sweet senior couch potatoes— and I know how to match their energy while still keeping things safe and structured. I’m comfortable with multi-dog households, strong pullers, feeding routines, crating, and basic meds. I don’t get overwhelmed easily, and I’m big on reading body language and keeping situations under control (so nobody makes bad life choices 👀). Whether your dog needs a good walk, a play session to burn off that extra, or just someone to hang with, I’ve got them covered. Expect happy, tired dogs and lots of tail wags when you get home. I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule. We can make a plan that encompasses your pet’s needs. I can’t wait to chat with you! I have a fenced in, large, backyard. I live in a friendly neighborhood, where I know all of our neighbors. I have 1 very friendly dog and 2 cats, all of which are extremely dog friendly and are used to having foster dogs & pet sitting clients come in and out. I have the space to contain my cats if needed. For safety purposes, I do require dogs to be crated when I’m not home and overnight.

About: Back in 2014, I attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology, graduated early with my diploma in Assistance Animal Laboratory Technicians, also with a certification in Purina Mills Animal Care Course. I have done an internship with North Shelby Animal Shelter as well as Bartlett Animal Shelte, where I took stray dogs/ abandoned out for walks and to play. Most of the dogs I encountered with at the shelter were sweet and loving dogs that just need a friend and time to spend with a person. I treated those dogs as my own. I have also intern at University of Tennessee Health and Science Center taking care of rodents, pigs, and other animals. I am someone who is mature, candid and who has integrity. Everyday I work to improve myself and my skills which is part of maturing and becoming better at what I do, this is why I want clients to choose me. I will treat your pets as my own pets. I will love and care for them, as if they where my own.

About: Growing up in Arkansas, it gave me that country life! I’ve had ducks, a goat, a rabbit, horses, cats, ponies, dogs, and chickens as my responsibilities to take care of. It was hard work, although I didn’t see it that way because I enjoy spending time with animals. This passion for animals has encouraged me to join 4-H( Marion/West Memphis Arkansas area), actively volunteer at animal shelters, join the Humane Society of Tennessee, and currently am working on my Vet Tech certifications. I’m here to show your pets it’s okay, their owner is leaving for the moment because we will have fun and I can give them the same attention and care that their awesome owners give them. I also have 3 years of experience dealing with domestic and farm animals! I have a very fexible schedule and I’m home almost all the time. I am committed to giving your pet an excellence experience with tons of attention. So if you need a pet sitter, I’m your girl! I’m also taking grooming and dog training courses, so I can get my certification. I care for pets in client’a home by abiding by the rules or task the client instructs me to do for there pet during the stay. I play with the pet while I’m there multiple times during the day and I make sure i leave the place how i came in or better. “Morgan and her little girl were absolutely amazing with both of our dogs who are quite challenging. Both of them are older and one is very special needs hands-down best ROVER thank you Miss Morgan you’re the bomb.”

“10/10 sitter, you can tell she loves your dogs like they are her own. Great communication during the dogs boarding, will defiantly rebook for future events”
“Absolute Amazing experience for my first time using this app. I was able to go on vacation without worrying about our sweet fur baby. Thanks for sharing photos & loving on our fur baby. Lori took great care of her!! Highly recommended! Thanks so much”

“Very nice guy! My dog seemed to have a good time and had plenty of time to run and play. Sent me videos daily and very responsive communication.”

“Super happy with Rebecca and Stephen. They took great care of our Dog Raolcan while we had to be away on business. Glad he could feel at hime away from home and had friends to play with. They were very friendly, professional and communicative. Thanks so much! Already scheduled to use them again!”

“Mark kept my Lucy (2nd time for Lucy) and her best friend, Buttercup, for several nights and he was so great with them. We loved the daily pics and they both always looked comfy and happy in the pics. He truly loves dogs and gave them both hugs when we picked them up to take them home. Will definitely use him again!!!”

“Madelyn was so sweet and nice, and Ruby had such a wonderful time! She sent updates throughout her stay and was very accommodating to Ruby’s needs! We will definitely be booking with her in the future!!”
“Mary is the absolute best. She was very loving and nurturing to Pebbles. She sent pictures daily to show how Pebbles was adjusting. She was also very patient and understanding. I was late with my drop-off and pick up and she understood. Thank you Mary. We will definitely be back.”

“Abby was so patient with Mowgli. It was Mowgli’s first time being boarded without family. He had an anxious accident in his crate, and Abby was very gracious about the clean up. Mowgli was an anxious boy for his first boarding, but he did have a wonderful time cuddling and sleeping with Abby and playing with her dog Theon, who is the sweetest boy!”

“Our 2 crazy hounds were happy with Justin. They are a lot to handle but he had no problems. Tater does not do well in a boarding facility, but he was his normal self when picked up from Justin.”

“Brooke was awesome. My cat is very nervous but she felt right at home with Brooke from day one! Book her! You will not have to worry about your furry loved one at all.”

“Shelly is THE BEST. She took amazing care of our three furbabies and kept me updated with pictures and messages. Our husky mix is terrified of storms and was in the best hands with Shelly who comforted her through it. I hesitate to leave this glowing review because I want to keep her all to myself but she deserves the accolades. Will absolutely be booking with her again.”

“I was able to book with Josef last minute, without hesitation she was so eager to meet my 2 girls and got us booked quickly. Price was right! She also kept us updated with messages and pictures. My girls had a blast with Josef. I felt confident leaving my girls with her. 10/10 recommended!!!”

“Myla was so great! She was easy to talk to and responded to any questions in a very timely manner. My 2 dogs are rescue dogs and showed some initial anxiety when left for the first time. Myla was very responsive and caring and gave them exactly what they needed. She sent updates while we were gone and we returned to some very well cared for and happy dogs. I would highly recommend her!”

“Nicole was absolutely wonderful with Atlas! She was incredibly caring and attentive to his needs, and I loved that she sent me updates throughout his stay. It made such a difference being able to see him happy and settled, giving me 100% confident that he was in great hands and being well taken care of the entire time! 🤍 Would recommend and book again.”
