About: I love dogs and have taken care of them all my life! I recently lost my companion of 12 years in April 2026, Finley, who passed onto the rainbow bridge due to old age. Finley was a 120lb gentle giant, so I am highly experienced with large breeds and dogs of all sizes. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of them through every age, from puppy to senior. I am experienced with senior dogs and understand their special needs and more than happy to help how I can. I work from home, so I’m always with your dog when I have them over. This also allows me to be flexible for potty breaks and walks. I am also able to visit them in your home if needed during lunch hours or any time after 4pm. Weekends I am completely free. Any pets at my place are free to roam as they please. They can even lay on my bed if that’s cozy for them. I do not have a yard, but my apartments do have an area outside for me to take them on potty breaks. Very receptive to any instructions you may have.

Being a Dog Mom isn’t easy by any means, but I fully potty and house trained my pup Mocha. I work full time from home so I’m available all day to take care of any pet that stays with us. I also love being active, my own pup and I love to go on walks around the neighborhood & at centennial park! I work full time from home & I’m always available to tend to a pup’s needs. I can take pups for a walk in the morning + evening (avoiding the hot TN sun as much as possible!) as we live very close to Belmont & Centennial Park, with lots of space for pups to roam and explore! I have plenty of space for dogs to run and play around my house. Fair warning, our house does have a lot of stairs which may be more difficult on an older pup’s joints! For high energy and excited puppies, the stairs are great to get some exercise in if it’s too hot to go outside! I also always have lick mats or mental enrichment games on hand to keep a pup engaged throughout the day.

And you’ll never have to worry if your dog happens to be a larger dog and/or pulls on the leash. But if you do happen to want to meet at a dog park or coffee place, I won’t object! - I’m a Nashville native and the oldest of four kids in my family. I’m a bit of an extroverted introvert. I enjoy my alone time and being home as much as possible. But if you bring me around social situations, I could talk to just about anyone about anything. - I have a kitten, young adult kitty, and a senior cat living with me full time. I have a senior (family) dog living with me only a few months out of the year when my parents snowbird in Florida. However, due to his recent decline in health/mobility, he most likely won’t be living with me in Winter 2026, unfortunately. Until I graduate on September 28th, I will be commuting to a night school M-Th 5:30pm-10pm. I work another job remotely and set my own schedule, which doesn’t impact my Rover bookings much . I typically know my schedule 1-3 weeks out, so scheduling conflicts are adjustable if I’m already available for the majority of the booking. Last minute bookings are typically contingent on flexibility and/or my being available without having to cancel appointments or compromise the quality of another pre-existing booking. Rover is my main obligation outside of school, apart from occasional appointments here and there. Being available, flexible, and dependable for my rover bookings is extremely important to me! Alongside client satisfaction, self-care is imperative to me. While I am finishing school over the next couple months, I typically will not accept early morning bookings unless there is flexibility with the times. However, I am able to offer late night visits on days off from school due to my routine sleep schedule. Quite a few of my repeat clients work night shifts and I’ve provided care for their pets between 11pm-4am. I try to avoid committing to any visits after 4am and before 10am so that I can keep a consistent sleep schedule, and be punctual for you! When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I carefully follow all instructions from the owner, including dietary needs, medications, walking preferences, and any behavioral considerations. I have gained a good amount of experience over the last few years in the area of taking care of senior pets and pre-adoption pets. My pup, Pasco, is currently receiving medications and palliative care, so I have personally experience in this area. Before adopting my kitten, Ocean, I recently fostered three pre-adopted kittens that needed bottle-feeding and gentle help with passing stool. I make sure the home environment is pet-proofed—keeping hazards like wires, cleaning products, and choking risks out of reach. I also monitor pets closely for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior and will notify the owner immediately if anything seems off. Building trust with both the pet and their owner is equally important. I take time to get to know each animal’s temperament, routines, and comfort zones so they feel safe and secure in my presence. Whether in my home or theirs, I maintain a calm, structured environment, offer plenty of positive attention, and create a consistent routine that pets can rely on. Regarding trust and safety, as a sitter I also request that you disclose any video and/or audio surveillance inside your home before officially booking with me. It goes against Rover’s guidelines (and federal law) to not disclose indoor surveillance. I recognize that it is part of today’s culture to have at least some form of video surveillance on one’s property. 90% of clients I work with have some form of video surveillance. As an owner myself, who also hires Rover sitters to care for my pets, I understand there’s an element of trust that has not yet been built, in addition to the general security concerns associated with being out of town. I am not against video surveillance and wouldn’t turn away a client for having a couple cameras. However, excessive surveillance throughout the inside of your home is not something I’m comfortable with, personally. I have no doubt you’ll find someone who doesn’t mind, but I am not that person. For in-home services, I’m respectful of the client’s space—leaving things clean and secure, and keeping communication open with daily updates, photos, and check-ins so the owner feels confident their pet is in good hands.

I am available to come to your home or your dog is welcome to stay at mine! I live in a 900 Sq. Ft. apartment with plenty of space for a small or medium dog or a low activity older large breed. I have two orthopedic beds that are cleaned thoroughly after each stay and two dog bowls.

About: Growing up in an animal loving family, animals have always been a major part of my life! I have always known a life where cats and dogs are apart of it, and are expected to be treated with love and respect. My goal for taking care of animals is the same way I am with any human - to leave them feeling more loved than they did before I came into contact with them. The same way humans need routine, tended to with intention, and connected with is the same for our animals! What I can promise for your animals being in my care is to provide a home away from home, with snuggles, plenty of walks, a kept up routine, and a clean and cozy space to land. I can’t wait to meet your angels! I am a college student with carved out personal breaks in my day that any animal could be loved on in that time frame! I also am a creature of habit, and love to help keep the animals routine in any way I can and can shift my day around whatever they would need. My goal is to make my space feel no different from what an animal would have at their space at home, and if I’m in their home when taking care of them, respecting and keeping their space sacred as well!

About: Ive had pets growing up ever since I was 7 from cats to dogs to lizards and snakes. I care deeply about proper animal care. He's a professional when it comes to working with animals and not just a guy offering up his place for some extra cash (not that there's anything wrong with that). He took our two Goldendoodles for a five day boarding stay and they loved it. We initially did a meet & greet and then did a daycare day a week before boarding so the dogs got to know him a bit before hand. They were so excited to go back when we dropped them off for boarding which gave us such peace of mind leaving for our trip. We will definitely use Jonathan again.”
About: I'm newly home all day and want to help out folks who need someone who will truly care for their furry friend. I'm a dog lover and have two rescued doodles. They are both dog, cat, and kid friendly and can't wait to make new friends! My dogs get one walk a day, plus potty breaks in our yard, as needed. This is how I take care of our Rover friends, too. I do more walks when the Nashville weather isn't scorching! My priority is to provide the care that your dog needs. I have a fenced-in backyard and love all doggos. I can't wait to meet you!
