“We were hesitant to use Rover for our mini-trip but Jamie was wonderful. We were able to schedule a meet and greet first. She had a few dogs over when we came to drop him off and Cash got to meet all of them and had a blast with them. He was pooped by the time he came home. She sent us a few updates and we loved getting them while on our trip to keep our mind at ease. We will definitely be using Jamie again. Thanks again!”

“Janey does an exceptional job with my dogs. She sends pictures of them most every day. I like that she doesn't keep more than one family of dogs at a time. She cleans her house between dogs. She lets the dogs get on the bed. It's clear that she truly loves fur babies.”

“Great experience with Michelle and Bryce! Our dogs loved staying with them and you could really tell they loved them so much! Would highly recommend!”

“Kayla took great care of my babies! She was prompt in responding to my availability request and in her visits. She’s one of the few Rovers who has sent pictures of playing with my cats. I’d recommend her to other pet parents!”

“Amanda was a great sitter!! She was very attentive to my cat Buffy and she gave me very detailed updates about how she's doing each day. Her pictures were great and my cat loved her!”

“My apartment flooded while I was out of town, and Taylor dropped everything she was doing to help me out. She stuck around for over two hours to make sure my cats were safe, communicated with the maintenance team for me, and even helped clean the extra water on the floor. Couldn’t have asked for a better response in an emergency.”

Being a dog lover while no longer having one has been heartbreaking for me, but it also means that I now have the opportunity to hangout with your pup! :) I only ask for a week in advance notice and prefer to do a meet and greet beforehand to see if we align. Take a look at my calendar and see what works for you! I am available to come to your home or your dog is welcome to stay at mine! I live in a 900 Sq. Ft. apartment with plenty of space for a small or medium dog or a low activity older large breed. “Jessie was fantastic! She took great care of our cats while we were away. She was very thorough with the litter boxes, spent some time playing with them, and sent us lots of adorable photos, which we really appreciated. We also have a pretty complicated apartment entry system that requires using an app, and she was so patient and willing to work with it without any complaints. She was incredibly easy to communicate with and made the whole experience completely stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience. We’d definitely book with Jessie again!”

“Olivia is the best. I had to go back to work while my pup was still recovering from getting fixed. Her nursing background made her the perfect choice. She is always on time and is meticulous about following care instructions. Highly recommend!”

“Phoebe did an incredible job looking after my cat, Oliver, while I was out of town. Phoebe was super communicative and incredibly consistent. I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat in her care, and it's the most relaxed I've ever seen Oliver after returning from a trip. My cat and I both adore having Phoebe as a sitter- she's a rockstar!”

“Madison did an excellent job looking after my 2 cats while I was out of town! She was very punctual and communicative, and sent me great updates and pictures of my kitties! My older cat who can be quite anxious seemed to open up to Madison right away!”

“Robin was exceptional!!! I would 100% revisit her every time I am in Nashville. She created such a welcoming and comforting space for my Tucci, made sure she was active, and constantly communicated updates! Robin was super friendly, flexible, and she had so much access to good green, safe, dog-friendly spaces! Best sitter ever! Thanks Robin!”

About: I'm newly home all day and want to help out folks who need someone who will truly care for their furry friend. I'm a dog lover and have two rescued doodles. They are both dog, cat, and kid friendly and can't wait to make new friends! My dogs get one walk a day, plus potty breaks in our yard, as needed. This is how I take care of our Rover friends, too. I do more walks when the Nashville weather isn't scorching! My priority is to provide the care that your dog needs. I have a fenced-in backyard and love all doggos. I can't wait to meet you!
About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I love dogs of all sizes. We have two black labs and a shepherd mix. We also have a cat and several aquatic creatures. I’m very detail-oriented and happy to follow your instructions for the best care for your pets. I love walking so happy to do neighborhood walks or hit the local hiking trails or dog parks.
“Ariana was great with my pup! She was flexible and accommodating, which I so appreciate. My pup came back tired and happy from daycare with Ariana and her pups, so I know she had a good time! Would totally recommend her to watch your kiddos!”

I know how important consistency is, and I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow any instructions you leave, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and any special routines. I’ll always make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m respectful of your home, keep everything clean, and I’ll send regular updates with photos so you have peace of mind.
“I was blown away by Levirina’s attentiveness and care for my one year old Shih Tzu puppy. It was obvious she took the best care of him. She was so responsive from the moment I sent the booking request. She was proactive in reaching out to provide updates, pics, and videos all through the day. Jackson was so happy when I picked him up and I could tell he had a fun and active day. This was my second time using Rover. After my first experience leaving him with someone for 3 days, and having a mediocre experience, I was not planning to use Rover again. I had something come up that I needed to have someone keep him for the day. I am so glad I didn’t give up completely on Rover and even more glad I found Levirina. She is simply OVER THE TOP AMAZING!! I will be using her again to care for Jackson every time we need it. We have an 8 day trip coming up in the fall and booking with her is at the top of my priority list. We couldn’t be happier!”

“Olivia Benson’s tail starts wagging the second she sees her friend Monty (and Megan and Kerry, of course.) Thanks for always taking great care of our little girl!”

“Thank you so much Ashley for taking such amazing care of little Luigi! He genuinely gets so excited to come hangout with you and his fur friends. He can’t wait until next time!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my entire life, whether it be my own animals or caretaking for a family or friend, from walking and feeding them, to showing them love and affection and patience! I’m currently working catering shifts, so I often have a lot of free time between catering opportunities and would like to animal sit between jobs. I live in a apartment with a lot open space that can easily fit crates inside and/or lots of room for animals to stretch their legs
“Jonathan was great! I was visiting Nashville and needed a last minute dog sitter for the day due to unexpected meetings, and he was flexible and communicative not to mention took great care of my pup. Would absolutely use him anytime!”

“We contacted Amanda on short notice to care for our dog overnight and she was wonderful to work with. Not only was she able to accommodate our schedule, but she was so caring toward our dog, who was not excited to be there. Amanda took very good care of her and worked with her to settle in for the night; by the morning she was happy again. I wouldn't hesitate to avail ourselves of Amanda's services again the next time we're in Nashville.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of them through every age, from puppy to senior. I am experienced with senior dogs and understand their special needs and more than happy to help how I can. I work from home, so I’m always with your dog when I have them over. This also allows me to be flexible for potty breaks and walks. I am also able to visit them in your home if needed during lunch hours or any time after 4pm. Weekends I am completely free. Any pets at my place are free to roam as they please. They can even lay on my bed if that’s cozy for them. I do not have a yard, but my apartments do have an area outside for me to take them on potty breaks. Very receptive to any instructions you may have.
About: Growing up, I was surrounded with pets and dogs of all breeds. I love all dogs and am currently raising my own Aussie Doodle who loves to have puppy friends around! Being a Dog Mom isn’t easy by any means, but I fully potty and house trained my pup Mocha. I work full time from home so I’m available all day to take care of any pet that stays with us. I also love being active, my own pup and I love to go on walks around the neighborhood & at centennial park! I work full time from home & I’m always available to tend to a pup’s needs. I can take pups for a walk in the morning + evening (avoiding the hot TN sun as much as possible!) as we live very close to Belmont & Centennial Park, with lots of space for pups to roam and explore! I have plenty of space for dogs to run and play around my house. Fair warning, our house does have a lot of stairs which may be more difficult on an older pup’s joints! For high energy and excited puppies, the stairs are great to get some exercise in if it’s too hot to go outside! I also always have lick mats or mental enrichment games on hand to keep a pup engaged throughout the day.
“Kellyn wad amazing! She sent me pictures during the process and kept me updated with everything! I even ran alittle late kept her updated with the situation and she was just amazing! Daisy got along with her dog! Love it! 10/10 reccomend!”

About: Dogs and cats are the center of my world! I have over 11 years of paid and volunteered hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, including my own animals and those I’ve fostered through rescue organizations. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life but over the past 11 years I have volunteered at various animal shelters and provided the services offered on Rover through word-of-mouth and other platforms/websites! I have experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages—from newborns to seniors—and pets with medical conditions, special needs, and behavioral challenges. I also have experience with birds, rabbits, and some reptiles. My family owns a farm so I have experience providing care for farm animals as well! What sets me apart is my ability to quickly assess and adapt to each pet’s unique personality and requirements. I’m especially patient and attentive with nervous or reactive animals, and I’m experienced in administering medications, maintaining structured routines, and creating calm, secure environments for animals in transition. AND I just might take the cutest/funniest candid photos of your pet that you’ve ever seen. Check out my photo gallery of cute fur babies I’ve loved on! Fostering has also given me valuable experience with socialization, basic training, post-surgery care, and working with pets recovering from trauma or neglect. I genuinely love building trust with animals and helping them feel safe, which is something pet owners consistently appreciate when they leave their companions in my care. IMPORTANT NOTES: *House sitting is a great way to ensure your pet has companionship in addition to having their physical needs met (food, water, bathroom etc.) Please note that house sitting and constant care are two separate services. Constant care (aka 24/7 house sitting) means that I would only leave your pet in the event of a genuine emergency. Otherwise, all of my time will be spent at your home caring for your pet. This is priced at an hourly rate, which will vary case by case. For traditional house sitting, we will discuss a plan that you’re comfortable with for how often I will leave your pet(s), and how long they will be left alone. If your request is well in advance of the stay, I can most likely adjust my schedule to focus more on your pet(s) if needed. Please vocalize your wants, needs, and expectations. **Meet and greets strongly suggested/required in some cases if: A) You have a pet with extreme anxiety, behavioral issues, or unknown reactions to being left in the care of a new person. B) You live in an apartment complex—mainly if you feel or have been told that your complex is difficult to navigate. I don’t want a large chunk of the visit to be spent trying to fI want to be spending as much time with your pet as possible! C) You have particularly unique and/or specific preferences for your pet’s care. I love detailed instructions—actually, I prefer you share as many details with me as you’d like. No one has ever bothered me with too many details/instructions! I would love to get a feel for and see what this will look like during the meet and greet. ***as of 2/20/26 I will have moved from Franklin, TN 37069 to Nashville, TN 37215. My ability to continue services with repeat clients from before that date (without an additional distance fee) is contingent on driving time to your location. **** if you find any part of the booking is not meeting your standards/expectations, please communicate this to me so I can adjust the issue or potentially request a refund via customer support for that visit. I strive to individualize care per your requests in order to effectively meet the needs of every client. Furthermore, I want my clients to always feel heard and supported. *****Boarding and day care information if you have a medium to XL size dog, pets who don’t react well to cats, and/or you prefer a yard and extensive exercise during the booking: My family owns a large property and farm about 10 minutes from my apartment. I am able to stay there in their guest house with your pets rather than board them at my apartment. That’s why it says I live in Greenhills yet also have a yard/fence, and live on a farm. This is honestly preferable for any large dog who are guarded/activated around other dogs. Like most apartment complexes, my complex is heavily populated by dog owners and we would encounter other dogs each time we go outside. That being said, I can still board larger and/or reactive dogs, dogs who don’t mix well with cats, and dogs requiring extra exercise. We would just be staying on the farm! ____________ More about me (if you’re curious): -Outside of pet care I am a licensed social worker (non-practicing at the moment) and a part time esthetician student. My social work career mostly includes providing individual or group mental health therapy, and case management for individuals experiencing homelessness, previously incarcerated, and/or with mental health and substance use disorders. As you can probably imagine, shifting towards Rover and esthetician school has been a major change! -During my free time I love working out—Pilates, barre, & running/walking. I’m relatively athletic so I can provide exercise tailored to each pet’s needs. With pets whose owners would prefer more exercise, I am able to provide more fast paced exercise, such as speed walking or jogging. And you’ll never have to worry if your dog happens to be a larger dog and/or pulls on the leash. Still haven’t met a dog I haven’t been able to walk! -I’m very big on volunteer work since I am not currently practicing social work. I have a very nurturing side, and while I’m so excited to become an esthetician, I would love to still be engaged in service of others. Right now I am developing an outline for a “pay what you can” farm-to-table service using the products of my family’s farm. Also in progress is an incorporation of my skincare, beauty, and wellness services into a larger ministry that serves survivors of trafficking, addiction, and/or DV. -During my free time I also enjoy binging thrillers and crime dramas during my free time. I’ve been getting into true crime podcasts. So yes, I’ll most likely be listening to Dateline while driving to our meet and greet at your house when I’ve never met you before. As if I need to be any more nervous about that part of this job! Happy to do it though. I love this job. But if you do happen to want to meet at a dog park or coffee place, I won’t object! - I’m a Nashville native and the oldest of four kids in my family. I’m a bit of an extroverted introvert. I enjoy my alone time and being home as much as possible. But if you bring me around social situations, I could talk to just about anyone about anything. - I have a kitten, young adult kitty, and a senior cat living with me full time. I have a senior (family) dog living with me only a few months out of the year when my parents snowbird in Florida. However, due to his recent decline in health/mobility, he most likely won’t be living with me in Winter 2026, unfortunately. Until I graduate on September 28th, I will be commuting to a night school M-Th 5:30pm-10pm. I work another job remotely and set my own schedule, which doesn’t impact my Rover bookings much . I typically know my schedule 1-3 weeks out, so scheduling conflicts are adjustable if I’m already available for the majority of the booking. Last minute bookings are typically contingent on flexibility and/or my being available without having to cancel appointments or compromise the quality of another pre-existing booking. Rover is my main obligation outside of school, apart from occasional appointments here and there. Being available, flexible, and dependable for my rover bookings is extremely important to me! Alongside client satisfaction, self-care is imperative to me. While I am finishing school over the next couple months, I typically will not accept early morning bookings unless there is flexibility with the times. However, I am able to offer late night visits on days off from school due to my routine sleep schedule. Quite a few of my repeat clients work night shifts and I’ve provided care for their pets between 11pm-4am. I try to avoid committing to any visits after 4am and before 10am so that I can keep a consistent sleep schedule, and be punctual for you! When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I carefully follow all instructions from the owner, including dietary needs, medications, walking preferences, and any behavioral considerations. I have gained a good amount of experience over the last few years in the area of taking care of senior pets and pre-adoption pets. My pup, Pasco, is currently receiving medications and palliative care, so I have personally experience in this area. Before adopting my kitten, Ocean, I recently fostered three pre-adopted kittens that needed bottle-feeding and gentle help with passing stool. I make sure the home environment is pet-proofed—keeping hazards like wires, cleaning products, and choking risks out of reach. I also monitor pets closely for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior and will notify the owner immediately if anything seems off. Building trust with both the pet and their owner is equally important. I take time to get to know each animal’s temperament, routines, and comfort zones so they feel safe and secure in my presence. Whether in my home or theirs, I maintain a calm, structured environment, offer plenty of positive attention, and create a consistent routine that pets can rely on. Regarding trust and safety, as a sitter I also request that you disclose any video and/or audio surveillance inside your home before officially booking with me. It goes against Rover’s guidelines (and federal law) to not disclose indoor surveillance. I recognize that it is part of today’s culture to have at least some form of video surveillance on one’s property. 90% of clients I work with have some form of video surveillance. As an owner myself, who also hires Rover sitters to care for my pets, I understand there’s an element of trust that has not yet been built, in addition to the general security concerns associated with being out of town. I am not against video surveillance and wouldn’t turn away a client for having a couple cameras. However, excessive surveillance throughout the inside of your home is not something I’m comfortable with, personally. I have no doubt you’ll find someone who doesn’t mind, but I am not that person. For in-home services, I’m respectful of the client’s space—leaving things clean and secure, and keeping communication open with daily updates, photos, and check-ins so the owner feels confident their pet is in good hands.

About: I am a dog and cat lover and always happy to take the best care of your beloved family member. I originally came from Wag! a different dog walking/sitting app with over 800 completed services with a 5 star rating. I trained puppies, taken care of senior dogs, administered insulin, and love caring for dogs of all sizes. I have done dog walking/ pet sitting full time for a few years and currently looking for new clients as I moved to this area from Nashville TN. I prefer sitting in my clients home, it makes me comfortable knowing the pet is in their space and have their familiar surroundings. And following the routine the owners have given me to ensure their pets are happy, healthy, and safe while they are away!

She thinks ahead, confirms scheduling questions, sends TONS of cutie pics, is super observant and lets you know of any atypical qualities in your pet, and is beyond flexible. The first time my dog, Sasha, met Avery, she acted like they had known each other forever! What a gift to make dogs feel so safe, comfortable, and at home! We enjoy using Avery on a recurring basis for midday walks, and I'm so thankful for her availability and flexibility in scheduling! Couldn't ask for more!!”

“My dog is rather timid, and often doesn’t take well to strangers, but she seemed to warm up to Matthew in no time! I love the pictures he sent and I would absolutely hire him again!”

About: Ive had pets growing up ever since I was 7 from cats to dogs to lizards and snakes. I care deeply about proper animal care. I am in Nashville from Monday to Thursday and free for walks and in home visits-(meds, feeding etc) weekends I am free for boarding 🦜 I have always been an advocate for the best possible care for animals and have been entrusted by many to take care of their pets.

“Ritch and his family did a wonderful job of watching our dog while we were on vacation. He was very communicative and sent daily updates/pictures which we really appreciated. I highly recommend Ritch and his family for your pet sitting needs.”

“This is my second time using Christopher. And Smokey had a blast so I witnessed in the daily photos and updates from him. His dog Emile is very understanding and knows what to do with all breeds and types. Matches Smokey’s energy with his own and has fun. I will be recommending and using Christopher for the future boardings I intend to book!”

“Alexsandra was great! She sent many pictures and updates and was very kind about how energetic Bruno can be. Bruno loved playing with her pup and came back exhausted!”

“Janelle did a great job taking care of our dog Hunter. He seemed very happy to go on walks and came home worn out and slept all day. I’d recommend Janelle again.”

“Madeline was awesome and I will definitely book with her again! She communicated well with me through the entire process & was so sweet with our dog, Hawkeye. She went above and beyond while she watched Hawkeye sending pictures, updates, and made him feel very at home.”

“We are new puppy owners and boarded our dog for the first overnight stay with Marissa. Marissa was wonderful and so caring to our sweet puppy who had some separation anxiety. Would 100% referral her to others as drop off/pick up was easy and her communication was fantastic. We are using her again in a few weeks so now will be a repeat customer.”

“Great experience with Michelle and Bryce! Our dogs loved staying with them and you could really tell they loved them so much! Would highly recommend!”
“Klea was a great caretaker for Wilson! She has a puppy of her own and both dogs got along really well. Klea took good care of Wilson, and Wilson was clearly very comfortable with her. She provided lots of photos/updates and clearly communicated with me before, during, and after. We will definitely book again with her!”

“Lorie is the best! Our dog loves her, gets so excited when we pull in. She gives him so much love, lives in a very dog friendly house and has many places for him to snuggle up. Lorie sends daily photos and updates and is very responsive.”

“Abigail was so sweet with my puppy, trying to understand what the puppy needs and providing closely. Also thank you for taking last minute ask for the sitting request. Absolutely the best!”

“Ashley provided great care to our two dogs! She was super responsive and sent daily pics and depictions on what was happening. We would definitely send our dogs her way again!”

“Rachael was super nice and very responsive. Great fenced backyard oasis for my dog pepper. Also a cute neighborhood for walks. Pepper was so excited and happy when we picked her up! Will definitely work with Rachael again!!!”

“Jonathan is spot on in his profile when he says he won't be the cheapest option but he's the most valuable option. He's a professional when it comes to working with animals and not just a guy offering up his place for some extra cash (not that there's anything wrong with that). He took our two Goldendoodles for a five day boarding stay and they loved it. We initially did a meet & greet and then did a daycare day a week before boarding so the dogs got to know him a bit before hand. They were so excited to go back when we dropped them off for boarding which gave us such peace of mind leaving for our trip. We will definitely use Jonathan again.”

“Allison, and her sweet kids, treated my senior dog as if she was their own. She gave great narrated videos so that I really felt connected while out of town! Terrific!”
