With the pictures sent to us and the continuous contact through texts we could feel at ease that she was in great hands. Being a big fan of rescuers and adopting dogs and cats from animal these organizations, (18 cats and dogs in the last 20 years), I can tell you that not only do I plan on using her again, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else other than her. I was almost worried he wouldn’t want to come back home!”

About: I have always loved animals and understand the importance of compassion, responsibility and trust when caring for pets. I volunteered for 10 years fostering lost and or abandoned pets. I take pride in being responsible and trustworthy. Pets are safe, cared for and treated like family. Available full time! Retired, no children. Neighborhood park within walking distance. Feeding schedules and medication instructions followed. Photos of your pet provided during your absence. Fenced yard. Child free home. Crate provided if needed. Retired, now spending the next chapter of my life doing something I truly enjoy and feel passionate about-caring for animals.
“I am so grateful to have found Chris and Tommie to care for and play with my shih tzu and corgi. My pups have a blast there and come home looking fit and well cared for. What makes this home special is the playtime with both other dogs and with the owners who treat them like family.”

“We had the best experience with Auntie Ty! I had a last minute business trip and needed someone to watch my fur baby and she stepped in and exceeded my expectations. Caring, thoughtful, attentive and sent my pictures everyday which were the highlight of my very busy work week. I highly recommend Ty!”

“Rashad was great! My cat Mao had a great time getting all the cuddles he could while I was away, and Rashad was super patient and accommodating when I had to extend Mao’s stay by a day and a half due to unforeseen travel complications. This was a great boarding experience and I would absolutely book again. 10/10”

“Madeline was amazing with our French bulldog!! Sincerely a 10/10. She sent lots of pictures, and updated us throughout the week! We were super nervous since this was our first time on Rover but would highly recommend her. Next time we leave we will check in with her first. Thanks Madeline!!”

“Shoshana (and her family) was the perfect sitter for my senior dog. She provided plenty of updates and was amazing with keeping my dog happy while I was away. Her house setup is perfect for dogs, especially dogs that enjoy hanging out with other pups. I truly appreciate her care for Reagan while I was away and recommend her services for anyone else looking for a reliable sitter to provide loving care for their pets.”

“Brooke was awesome. My cat is very nervous but she felt right at home with Brooke from day one! Book her! You will not have to worry about your furry loved one at all.”

“Best experience ever! I left my 14 weeks old puppy with Letty over Thanksgiving. I was extremely nervous about leaving my baby with someone new, but I didn't have a choice. Letty was absolutely amazing with Legacy. She sent me pictures all week of them playing and having a great time. Thank you so much for keeping my baby for me! I'll definitely be using her again!”

About: I ran my own house cleaning business for 10 years which in turn began my pet sitting. We have our very own chonky Manx cat named Cricket. I love cats and dogs. I’m looking to add more families in the Arlington and Lakeland area. I’m happy to do a free meet and greet with you and your fur babies.

About: Hey, I’m Caroline!😊 I have had pets all of my life including dogs(small&large), cats, and even guinea pigs! I would love to help care for your sweet babies whenever the time comes🩷 I currently work a part-time job at a nutrition shop! I usually work during the day, so no biggie if you need a night sitter! I am comfortable doing anything asked in your home! Whether it’s kenneling up or free roaming. I can walk them if you don’t have a fence or let them play in the yard!

About: I am a cat lover. I think dogs are great, too. But, I prefer to have a cat living in my house. I love dogs that live in other people's houses. ;) I have many years of cat care experience, even with the feisty and sassy ones. I had to get a rabies booster on my wedding because I had tried to rescue a sweet kitten 28 days before my wedding, and it bit through the skin on my wrist!

About: I have absolutely adored cats for as long as I can remember. I love that you have to earn their trust, and that the connection with them is so unique and deep. They all have their own personalities, and I love seeing them interact with things around the house. I had Winston, a senior orange boy that we found on the streets of a rural area that passed from oral cancer, and currently have one chatty black cat that we found on craigslist named Pope, and a black + tabby kitten duo named Monster & Mavis that we rescued in north Memphis without their mom when they were itty bitty! They are my pride and joy and I would absolutely love to meet your cats as well!
“Mrs. Sarah was amazing with the babies and our little Harley normally takes a couple of visit by the time she warms up and stops barking at you but it didn’t take long (the same day ) she didn’t bark much. She attentive and sweet to the babies. Mrs. Sarah is definitely the pup whisperer 😁”

“Alayna was incredible with our dog and cat! She was so easy to talk to and get ahold of when we needed something and we came back to happy healthy animals! So grateful for all her hard work!”

About: My name is Leanna. I’ve had pets (big and small) my entire life and for the past 2 years, I’ve been caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs and of a variety of breeds. I’m new to working for Rover and I'm excited for the opportunity to meet your pets. I was a volunteer for a shelter for a little over a year so I have quite a bit of experience under my belt as well. I recently graduated college with a degree in occupational therapy and currently awaiting to take my certification exam; so I have plenty of free time to serve your pets. If you have any questions don’t be afraid to shoot me a message and ask away. I take care of my own 10-month-old puppy named Pax on a daily basis. Also, I help care for three large breed dogs named Neno, Cali, and Smokey. For my puppy Pax, I cook his food weekly and feed him 2-3 times per day, I manage all of his grooming and of course, play in the yard and go on walks with him. I love to pamper and make Pax happy and I would enjoy doing the same for your pets.
“This was my first experience using Rover and I have to say that this won't be my last! I was very wary of letting someone whom I didn't know come over to take care of my dog but talking with Genavieve beforehand made me feel comfortable. Our arrangement allowed me to have a weekend out without having to worry about my pup's safety and health and it's the most I could have asked for. She was very helpful and I would reccomend her to everyone.”

“Robert was amazing. He's very sweet and attentive and JuJu loved him. When we returned everything was fine. Robert video chatted with us, sent video, and pics every day we were away. He let himself into our home and we had 0 issues! I would definitely book with Robert again and again!”

About: I've had cats for 20+ years of my life. I've worked with rescues to foster kittens and help find them new homes as well as supported special needs cats. Rest assured your fluffy feline friend will get all the love and attention they require while you are gone, whether it's just short drop-ins or I need to stay for a little while and keep them company. At this time I can not board cats in my home.
“Hannah was a very attentive sitter to our cat, Hardee, and she updated me with messages daily, sometimes 2x/day. Hardee takes meds and she was astute in giving his meds and following instructions. She sent great photos of him as well which was comforting to us. I would recommend Hannah highly!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs (and all kinds of pets!) for as long as I can remember. Growing up surrounded by animals and pet sitting for families in my community has given me years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. From playful puppies to senior sweethearts, I’ve truly seen it all—and I love every minute of it. What sets me apart is not just my experience, but the genuine joy I find in building trust with animals and giving them personalized, loving care. Dogs are my favorite animals, and getting to care for them professionally feels like a dream come true. I'm patient, dependable, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’ve also cared for guinea pigs, fish, birds, and bunnies—so I’m happy to help with your non-canine companions too! Whether you’re heading out of town or just need an extra hand, you can count on me to keep your pets happy, safe, and loved. I'm a college student who has 2 full days of class on Tuesdays and Thursdays (8:00am-5:00pm), 2 half days of class on Mondays and Wednesdays (8:00am-12:00pm OR 1:00pm-5:00pm), and Friday off! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it my mission to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, peaceful walks around the neighborhood, or just snuggling up on the couch, I give each pet the attention, affection, and comfort they need while their family is away. I follow all feeding schedules closely and make sure they’re eating, drinking, and taking any necessary medications on time. I’m also happy to send photo or video updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

“I do thank her for clarifying information and also thank you for being a good sitter for my dog while his regular sitter is off rover for 2 months. She is very sweet and has a nice home that uno loves . My drop off time was 8am- 9am , she started my day care I have not even arrived yet I always try to come at the last time listed which would be 9am . Also if you could include information on profile of what was told to me of … but for me anything after 10 PM is extended care since that’s my wind-down time, so there is an added charge, So that others know . I will likely book her when I don’t have events to attend I am use to end time of 11:30 with rover . I will definitely use her again when my other sitters are not available.”

“Highly recommend. This is the first time I've had to leave my dog and I'm so thankful I found Dana. She is the sweetest and treated my dog as if he were her own. Will definitely use her again!”

About: I have always been an animal lover and had pets all my life. I have rescued and fostered many dogs and have also been a foster fail a few times because I became so attached. I am down to one pup now named Charlie. He is my pride and joy and he is spoiled rotten. I have volunteered at the Humane Society , been a pet sitter for many of my friends in the past. So I decided why not do it as a job and then I can be around them a lot more. So that's what I am doing. I have lots of references that will vouch that I indeed do love animals. I am retired since 2009 and do work a very part-time job. So I can give your fur babies all the attention they require and need. I can care for pets in my home as long as they would get along with my dog, Charlie. There would have to be an initial meeting first to determine that.
“What a great sitter. About: I’ve been a pet owner for 35 plus years. Currently we all work hard to maintain our cat Cricket’s luxurious life of sleep treats eat and repeat. I also made quite a few animal friends as a Caregiver! With 10 years experience being a Housekeeper I had the privilege of meeting some special 4 legged family members who in turn I began to pet sit for. I’ve done lots of drop in visits for cats and dogs. Now that I’m a semi-empty nester with one child still in college I’d love to meet and help with your pet. Thanks for considering me! I’m currently a homemaker and volunteer with our church including Sunday School and a Kids church teacher. I have lots availability at the moment and openings for weekdays and weekends. My backyard is fenced and I have one indoor cat. I prefer to do drop ins or daily walks at this time weekdays and weekends.
About: I have been asked to pet sit for neighborhood families multiple times in the past. Everyone who knows me knows that I love and care for all animals, big and small, fuzzy or scaly. People know that when they choose me to pet sit their pet is being treated like a member of the family even while they are away. I also was a member of my local shelter's doggy day camp when I lived in Knoxville. This program was a volunteer project that took shelter dogs out and about for a day of love and fun! I have some experience with giving medications and injections to dogs, cats, and snakes. I also have experience with senior dogs (one of my own is nearly blind and deaf). I can take care of reptiles and mammals (anywhere from ferrets to puppies) and I am currently working towards becoming a certified veterinary technician to help better care for animals' needs. At the moment my schedule is completely free for any service required! If needed I can stay at your home and provide around the clock supervision or just stop by every few hours. I can provide your pet with walks, outtings, and playtime as often as you desire! I am open to flexible, short-term, long-term, and last minute requests, but clients that book first will get first priority. There are a few nearby parks that my dog and I like to visit to get some exercise in. My dog Luna loves to play with other dogs and have fun! I am absolutely willing to do a little traveling and take your buddy to their favorite parks or even research to find new pet friendly spots for them to explore!
“Such a jewel we are blessed to have get helping with our fur baby. Lucci took to her the moment he saw her and that made us feel pleased at our choice. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

I’m currently unemployed so I have a very open schedule for watching your dogs and cats! I typically let my own dogs out about 4-5 times a day, and they each have their own feeding schedule that I attend to as needed. I am very flexible right now, and would also be available to do fluids, injections, and other specific medical and behavioral needs (e.g., extra walks, extra play time, etc.). I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs, and two sweet cats, to keep your furbaby company. I am comfortable crating dogs and have an extra crate for a small-medium dog. One of my dogs is a senior dog with special needs, so I am perfectly comfortable housing and caring for dogs who have their own special needs. I also have a dog with epilepsy so I am very used to dealing with seizures and the safety precautions that go along with them. These dogs have also never met a stranger, and our home is an overall very welcoming environment to all creatures (I even have a pet spider!).

About: I've dog sat for friends from time to time. I have never had my own dog, due to moving internationally so many times as a military family. However, I've always enjoyed other people's dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and sizes. I have a lot of experience caring for people which has resulted in me possessing the patience, tact, and empathy necessary for interacting with animals, as well. I have recently resigned from my toxic and stressful government job and am available for any and all opportunities for drop-in pet care and dog walking that do not conflict with commitments to my kids' events. I will care for pets in their owner's homes, with respect for the owner's property and privacy as well as respect for the pet's space and temperament. I will follow directions and meet any special requests for drop-in visits or walks. I am more than capable and willing to play with, exercise, brush, bathe, medicate, feed, and clean up after your pet according to your specifications. I'm a life time manager of risk and analyzer of safety. I am an Air Force veteran and former federal law enforcement. I've cared for many human children in many different and even challenging scenarios, for many parents, without incident. I have been a certified lifeguard, water safety instructor, and child passenger safety technician. Safety and trust are very important to me and I want you and your pet to feel very comfortable with me when it comes to those things.

I have no problem providing medications to any animals and have experience with seniors. I love dogs of all sizes, especially huge dogs! I am available 24/7 and am extremely flexible with scheduling! About: I am an animal lover who has made my career for 15 years as of 2024 as a pet stylist and doggy daycare supervisor. I have been called the dog whisperer! Every pet I have met and/ or groomed is part of my family. I am most available as an overnight sitter as I currently have a day job. Most of my clients’ pets are used to this schedule already. I have passed multiple safety tests in pet care and became a Certified groomer through a 2 year apprenticeship program at Petco Germantown in 2009. I have also worked at Hollywood Feed and two doggy daycares as the sole groomer and manager of the salon.

My family relies on me to watch their animals. They have a cat who is diabetic so they heavily rely on me to give him his shot at the correct times. I have grown up with animals my whole life. I’ll be working part time while in college. So this works perfectly. I want this to be my only job while in school so therefore I can spend more time playing and loving on your fur babies. I can check on dogs before and after school. Usually I’ll have class 2 days out of the week. I have 3 dogs of my own so you can put all your trust into me. I am a BIG animal lover. I can do what the owner wants me to do to make sure the dog feels safe and more comfortable. As long as it’s reasonable! I will play fetch with your dogs so by the time I leave they’ll be passed out. I’ll love on them and even send as many pictures as the owner would want to make the owner feel ever more comfortable.

I guarantee I have seen it all, and am prepared to deal with any situation as it comes my way. My coworkers and friends have often referred to me as the pet whisper because of this. My Bella had a blast and enjoyed all the extra activities that Gage had her doing, as playing extra time, daily walks, and just a great pet sitter. He truly loves and cares for dogs. Also, he provided the pickup and drop off service. He was on time and very accommodating since I was out of town so he had to deal with a different person twice. He was caring and took notes and call in advance to the appropriate contact to schedule pick up and drop off. I just can't thank you enough that we found Gage at the last minute. I am looking forward to continue having him as Bella's sitter when needed.”
