“I can’t say enough good things about Meghan. We got to meet her for a face to face walk through before our trip and we both were instantly comfortable with her. We told her the cats were uncomfortable with new people and not to be surprised if they didn’t come out much, but from her very first visit, she sent us tons of pictures of them all swarming around her for pets. I was shocked how quickly they accepted her and welcomed her into the house. Communication was excellent at each visit and she went above and beyond not just to do what we asked but to actually take the time to love on each of the cats and even play with them with some of their favorite cat toys and give them treats. About: Dogs have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember, and my experience extends beyond Rover through years of caring for family and friends pets. I have experience with puppies, seniors, dogs with medical needs and a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have two dogs of my own who are complete opposites, one is a high energy working breed and the other is happiest relaxing on the couch. Caring for both has taught me that every dog has different needs and deserves an individualized approach. High energy dogs are absolutely welcome here and will have plenty of opportunities for both physical exercise and mental stimulation throughout their stay. Pet care is already built into my daily routine. I work from home from 8-4, which allows me to be available all throughout the day and provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, exercise, and attention as needed. I believe it’s far more important to adapt to a dog’s lifestyle rather than to force them to adapt to mine. If your dog has a specific routine, I am happy to maintain it during their stay. Safety is my highest priority when caring for each dog. I introduce dogs carefully if they have not already met, I monitor their interactions closely, and never leave dogs together unsupervised. If for some reason dogs are not a good match, I am comfortable keeping them separated and rotating them as needed so everyone gets the exercise, individual attention, and comfort they need. All dogs are fed separately in different rooms, and I intentionally limit the number of dogs I accept at one time so I can provide appropriate supervision. My home has a fenced in yard, baby gates, crates, and multiple areas where dogs can safely relax or decompress. I am also comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions.

I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Puppies are able to roam the entire backyard.

My kids also really enjoy picking up the dog poop while we are on walks (hey, I’ll take that as a win!) part of the money goes to them for being the best helpers. My husband works full time from home. Someone is always home and available to take care of your pet. We have sports on Saturday morning where we are gone for 3 hours, other than that we are typically home We do not have a fenced yard, but we have 3 kids who love taking the animals out with us and helping with walks. About: I looked after and cared for my family’s two dogs as a teen and am 1 year into being a work from home dog dad for our English Golden, Archie. I can walk, feed, play and otherwise entertain your pets as I do my own. I work from home doing an 8am-4pm office job fully remote. I have many breaks throughout the day as the job is on call/as needed. I use this spare time to enrich our puppies life with exercise, playtime, and training. Weekends are usually free unless I am out of town. I have a fenced in back yard for easy outside time and a small neighborhood for walks. I have a 1 year old English Golden Retriever named Archie who loves to play and make new friends. I can kennel dogs at night if needed. Archie’s night time routine involves his crate which he prefers to go to at night for sleeping. On an average day we alternate between lounging by the hearth, playing frisbee/ball outside to get laps in, naps, and of course walks around lunch time and shortly after work. I can come to your house for check ins or walks and if needed can pick up/drop off your pet for boarding at my place.

Of course they well have full access to the entire house but I all pups need their own space. I have a fenced yard with a tall privacy fence so potty breaks are secure and will be fully supervised. I want all pups comfortable. I can offer walks throughout the day for additional charge. My time is very flexible. I create my own schedule at my job so I can make anything happen with proper notice. I’m open to help whenever and wherever. I have two friendly pups who love other dogs. I have been trained in dog behavior and feel confident to know when a dog needs a break, uncomfortable, etc.. I’m quick to react and pay attention at all times.
