About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have cared for them and do everything necessary to give them the best life. I have cared for multiple fosters as well. My schedule is flexible so I have the time to invest in taking care of your pet. Whether it is to play with them in the yard or take them for a walk. I am very watchful and mindful of dogs, knowing they can get into things. So I am right there to make sure they are properly cared for.
“Trudy was timely and professional, spent time playing with/petting my cats while I was away! It is nice to have somebody give them human interaction rather than a stop and go. Would book again!”

“Olivia is absolutely fantastic! We have some pretty skittish and shy kitties and they took to her like nobody else. We got daily notifications, photos, and even a few videos. We'll definitely choose Olivia in the future if we need a cat sitter again.”

“I was in need of a new sitter for my cat and I found Emma! She was very responsive to my requests for bookings. She even did a meet and greet with Tux and I which was very reassuring. I had a last minute change in plans and Emma was able to be flexible with her schedule. Tux and I already have our next booking set up with her.”

“We can’t recommend having Caitlin care for your pets enough!! She takes such great care of our puppy and makes sure he gets lots of love and exercise when she visits! We will continue to book with her whenever our puppy needs care 😊”

“Mikayla was so great with our cats, even when they got into trouble and made a mess. She sent us great photos and I'm confident that our cats were well cared for while we were gone!”

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

“Chressie did a wonderful job checking in on our pups on Saturday and Sunday when we were gone for most of the day. Even though it was a last-minute request she was very flexible & gave several options for a meet & greet. She did great with all our quirky dogs. She sent updates & pictures & was professional & prompt! She even brought our packages inside!”

“Miss Madison is amazing! She took such great care of both my babies. She boarded my senior dog and did drop in visits on my cat. Madison also has a senior dog so it was nice for him to have a companion he could keep up with! She sent lots of pictures and updates during my trip that gave me the warm and fuzzies that my animals were in great care. I plan to book with her again soon! Thank you again Miss Madison!”

“Elain arrived promptly for the bathing and grooming appointment for my dog. She was very calm, confident, comfortable and and efficient with the bathing and blow dry. I will definitely continue to have her come regularly to bath and groom my long haired dogs. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so they’ve always been a big part of my world! My family dogs had a few litters over the years, which taught me a lot about caring for both puppies and their mamas. Now I have a pup of my own, and I absolutely love being a dog mom! I work during the week, but I’m always around to help out on weekends if I’m in town! I’m also totally open to jumping in after work whenever needed! I’ll care for your pet like they’re my own! I have a sweet dog who absolutely loves other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in buddy while you’re away if they need!

“Jamie was very flexible with me and Ziggy! She took great care of my sweet baby, and put up with her chaos :) It was the first time leaving my fur baby alone and she gave me reassurance and comfort that she was in good hands.”

“What a phenomenal first experience with Rover & Christina! She was kind, welcoming, very understanding and genuine! She has a beautiful fenced in yard and my boy had a blast. She sent pictures and updates. Hopefully she and her daughter will be available the next time we're in town. Excellent job!!”

About: I provide loving, attentive care for dogs in the Sioux Falls area and have years of experience caring for my family’s and relatives’ dogs while they’re on vacation. Your pup will be treated like part of the family in a safe, comfortable home environment. My home features a fully fenced backyard, upper and lower living levels, and one of my favorite (and most dogs’ favorite!) features—a full glass sunroom that overlooks the backyard. It’s the perfect spot for dogs to relax, soak up the sun, and keep an eye out for rabbits and other wildlife. I have a 1.5-year-old chiweenie named Copper who is very active, friendly, and gets along well with all dogs. Before Copper, I had my chug, Kewley, for 16.5 wonderful years, so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Copper is crate trained and is crated during short outings like when I attend church. Weather permitting, we go on daily walks, and your dog will be welcome to join us! For long term stays, we may also enjoy visiting small dog parks almost daily to burn off energy and have fun. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so pets get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Weather permitting we will go on walks and possibly the dog park if all parties are ok with that. I will send daily pics/videos throughout the stay. Some photos may be consider professional portraits :) I live alone with my ChiWeenie Copper as mentioned. My neighborhood is full of dogs and the people are friendly. Overall, it is a quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Pets can be crated at anytime if owner prefers. I plan on not having more than 3-4 dogs at a time. Small-Medium size dogs only.
“Oliver loved being at Lauren and Corey’s house. They took great care of him and made our first experience with Rover wonderful. We will definitely be contacting them again when we need care for him in the future.”

“Paige was great with communication. She kept up with frequent updates and pictures while caring for our dog, any and all questions we had were answered in a timely manner. I would trust her in the future to dog sit for us anytime.”

About: Hi I’m Josie! :) Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them genuinely makes me happy. I offer boarding, daycare, walks, house sitting, and drop-in visits with a calm, attentive, hands-on approach to care. I’m home full-time so I have a flexible schedule & provide a safe environment where dogs can feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly at ease. I have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make sure each dog feels understood, cared for, & comfortable when in my care. Because I’m home throughout the day, dogs get lots of supervision, attention, outdoor time, affection, play, and enrichment. I love creating an environment where dogs will get mental stimulation and interaction tailored to their personality and energy level. Whether your dog loves playing, exploring, relaxing in the sun, sniffing around outside, or just staying close by, I adjust their day to what makes them happiest, and I make sure to send lots of updates while doing so! :) I have a fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, explore, sunbathe, and play while being closely supervised. Dogs in my care are provided with toys, puzzles/sniffing games, outdoor time, water play, walks, and one-on-one interaction. My dog Ivy is very friendly, laid back, calm, and enjoys being around other dogs. She loves having another dog around to play with, relax beside, or explore with, and gets along great and is very respectful with other furry friends. 😊 With owner approval, I’m happy to take dogs on trail walks, city walks, sniff walks, or a walk to the nearby starbucks for some pup cups ( with approval ) If not no worries—we have plenty of enrichment, playtime, and exercise opportunities right at home. Doggy daycare is a great option for pups who need company while you’re at work, running errands, need a break in their routine / week, or simply want a fun day or couple of hours filled with enrichment, play, attention, and exercise instead of being home alone or spending long hours in a kennel. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from high-energy breeds to anxious or shy pups who need a little extra patience. If I host multiple dogs, it’s only when all owners are comfortable with it and the dogs are a good fit. Otherwise, your dog will receive my full attention and care. I understand that trusting someone with your pet—and sometimes your home—is a big deal. You can expect reliability, clear communication, love for your pet, and respect for your space while you’re away. Whether you’re heading out of town, have a busy work schedule, need care during the day, or simply want peace of mind while you’re away, I’m here to care for your dog as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for every step of the way. Your pup’s safety and wellbeing are my #1 priority! Please feel free to message me if you’d like to set up a meet and greet, book a service, or if you have any questions about my care. 🐾

About: I have been dog sitting and babysitting for as long as I can remember! I come from a small town, so I spent lots of time going to neighbors’ houses and letting them out while they went on vacation. I have watched pets ranging from the ages 4 months to 16 years. I work from home so can accept daycare or overnight boarding at my place. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced in backyard for all of the potty breaks and I can also bring them on short walks if requested. I live in a zero-entry, one-level home with no steps which is great for pets with bad joints.

“I was very happy with my dogs stay with Morgan. I was nervous because my dog has only stayed with one other family in 7 years. She was so warm and welcoming. I was sent a picture shortly after we dropped off that he was already settling in. She kept me updated and answered my messages almost immediately. I am so happy I have someone now that I can feel comfortable leaving George with again when we have to leave town.”

“Olivia had great communication and offered to help with short notice. It was so nice knowing we could leave for a long period of time and Baxter was taken care of! She took him for a walk and made sure he had fresh water after. Love all the pictures! I will definitely reach out to her again!”

About: My husband and I got our own dog, Indie, about 2 years ago! We know how important it is to feel confident and secure in the person who is caring for your fur baby. I will treat your pup like my own and do everything I can to put your mind at ease :) I will have lots of free time to spend with your pup Friday-Monday, in addition to a few random days throughout the week this summer! Reach out with any questions and I’ll hopefully be able to make something work! I live in a townhome that offers a non-fenced in backyard and sidewalks for walking! I have plenty of space for your pet to play. My dog, Indie, will have the best time with your dog :) In your home, I am willing to cater to anything you and your pet are needing!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I work from home full time. This gives me the flexibility to be there for your pup throughout the day while still managing my workload responsibly. Your dog will enjoy having someone around to give them attention, playtime, and the personal care they deserve! Working from home makes pet care easy for me to fit in, since I can handle walks, feeding, and playtime during breaks while still giving the pets constant supervision without disrupting my work. I live in a one-bedroom apartment where I can host pets, and I’m also able to provide walks and potty breaks. I’m flexible and always open to clear communication with owners.
About: I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.

About: I have helped out many friends and family members with checking in and caring for their pets while being away. As a proud dog owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone reliable, trustworthy, caring, and professional to check in on your sweet pup. I currently work from home Monday through Friday, and have flexibility to go check in on pets during breaks. Weekends I also work part time, so I have extra time available to check in on pets! I will always ask for detailed instructions when having to enter your home. I want to always make sure to treat your pet with love and respect, and also be respectful to and in your home.
About: I have my own fur babies of 5 cats and one 16 year old dog. House is a little chaotic but loving and caring. Each animal has their own needs and I provide them with everything in the world and more. Anything that will work around my college schedule will be most beneficial. Part time jobs can be hard in this economy especially with 18 credit hours this semester. Being able to cuddle and hangout with animals while I can maintain school work sounds like a blast. Your pets are not just pets but they are your babies. I will take care of them like I take care of my own fur babies. They will become one of my fur babies while I take care of them. My pets get their medicine on time, fed on time, and always have water available. Litter boxes get cleaned regularly to keep up with odors.
About: I have raised and sold puppies for over 10 years. Many friends and family have relied on me to care for their pets over short and long periods of time. I love dogs so much and I am looking forward to watching a lot of cute and loving doggies. 😊 I’m currently not working in the summers because I’m a teacher, but during the school year I work part time so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your furry babies. I’m free mostly on weekdays, but I can also work many weekends. My yard is not fenced in, but I do have an underground electric fence. I can easily crate your pet if needed, or give them 24/7 attention if needed. I also have two very nice golden retrieves that can keep your fur babies company. 😊 I'm currently not working in the summers because I'm a teacher, but during the school year I work part time so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your furry babies. About: I've spent decades taking care of dogs and puppies. More than willing to walk and play with your pooch and do pop-ins. As for the training I do not have any certifications but both of my current dogs have general obedience and tricks as well. I have also trained my GSP personally for upland bird hunting. I am a full time teacher and also have a second job in the summer as well. This will be more if I can fit you guys into my schedule to pick up more hours in the summer. Whatever you need me to do for them I am more than happy to. I will probably not bring them over to board at my home just because I have two dogs and a cat at my house. Just safer to make sure everyone is comfortable.
About: I have had multiple dogs, young and old, throughout my life. I’ve had a Shih Tzu, golden lab, fostered multiple pit bulls, and currently have two cats at home. I am comfortable with both high energy and high maintenance dogs, and am able to run with a dog who can’t seem to walk at a normal pace. Currently, I have two cats and a bunny, giving me background on the best care for any other pet needs! I am currently working part-time remotely, making my work schedule very convenient for any sitting needs. I am a full-time student at USD, pursing Finance, where I have classes only on Tuesdays, Thursdays from 9:00-1:45 p.m. Because I live in a town home complex that is unfenced, and have two cats at home, I am unable to sit at my location. But, I have a lot of experience with dog sitting at others homes, from neighbors, to family friends, to my parents clients when needed!

“I’m so glad we booked Fritz’s first boarding with Larysa. Since he’s still young, we were nervous about leaving him, even for a day, but Larysa made the experience great for him and us. We had to book a last minute boarding, but she was super accommodating and kind about it. She kept us updated with photos the whole time, and we could see Fritz was really being loved and cared for. By the time we picked him up, he was super comfortable there and seemed to absolutely love Larysa’s sweet older dog, Carter! We have another trip coming up soon, and we will definitely be booking with Larysa again. Highly recommend you book with Larysa for boarding with your doggies!”

“I booked Justin last minute and couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment we connected, he was super responsive, professional, and genuinely caring. My dog immediately felt comfortable, and I got regular updates (with the cutest photos!) that gave me total peace of mind. It’s clear Justin truly loves animals and takes his work seriously. When we got home, my pup was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I feel beyond lucky to have found such a fantastic sitter on short notice. Highly, highly recommend – will definitely book again!”

“Lindsay and her family always take such good care of my pup. With a smaller dog, that often takes a bit to warm up to folks, it’s a huge reassurance that he’s always treated like family at Lindsay’s.”
