“Melissa watched our golden doodle over Christmas and did a wonderful job! We got daily updates and pictures of him involved in their family activities. I have no doubt he got the care he needed. Highly recommend!”

“Christina was amazing with our young dog, she sent pics and texts letting us know how Hazel was doing. She had great communication and made us feel so comfortable while we were gone. Hazel enjoyed their large fenced in backyard and got along great with the other dogs. We have already booked Christina again for next time we leave town. I feel so grateful to have found such a great and trusted person to watch our puppy.”

“Krysten is wonderful with Addie. Great quick communication with questions about care and habits of Addie to enhance her quality of care. Nice photos throughout her weekend stay to keep us informed of her wellbeing at a new sitter's home. Will rebook again for sure!”

“Melissa‘s kindness, sincerity, and genuine warmth shine through from the moment you meet her. Her home has that same welcoming energy –comfortable safe and full of thoughtful touches. The meat-and-greet Melissa offered before the stay was generous and reassuring, and Copper, her pup, was the perfect host - basically the mayor of hospitality town! He welcomed Peanut like an old friend and immediately showed her around. Melissa was flexible, thoughtful, and attentive, and she sent photos and videos throughout Peanut’s stay that absolutely made my day. Peanut came home ready for a nap, content, and clearly well-cared for - the Holy Trinity of a perfect pup vacation! Copper even taught Peanut how to go down the stairs, which definitely deserves its own merit badge. I am grateful for people like Melissa who create a safe, honest, and welcoming space for visiting pups. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, trustworthy, and genuinely caring home for their dog. You almost want to ask if she offers human boarding too. Melissa is agem – five stars, many tail wags, and a standing ovation from Peanut.”

“Lauren and Corey took great care of our pups and were great to work with. We have stubborn English bulldogs and we felt like they were in great hands the whole time. Thank you so much!”

“Angi was amazing! She worked with us to meet before hand and was very flexible with pick up time. She sent lots of pictures and videos. She was very accommodating for my dog’s feeding schedule which made me feel very comfortable! I know my Izzy had a great time!”

“Jayne (and her family) wer AMAZING! They readily helped us when we were in a bind. Throughout our dog's time there, she sent us pictures of him and kept us updated. The whole family treated him as their own. They even put out a stocking for him at Christmas! I cannot say enough good thyings about Jayne. I will DEFINITELY book with her again!”

“Paige was so friendly! She was an amazing communicator and sent us constant updates on how our ‘baby’ was doing. You can tell our dog was really loved on! I would definitely rebook with Paige!”

“Mikayla was awesome! she was able to help out last minute and treated our boy so well! I loved the treats and holiday pictures she took of our pup! Good communication and very flexible! i would highly recommend!”

“We are SO happy with the care Marnie/Jeffery & family gave to our Luna! They went above and beyond for our girl and kept us updated as they watched her! We couldn’t be happier and will definitely bring our girl back to them! This was our first time using Rover and we could be happier with the care Luna got and how affordable!! THANK YOU!”

“We highly recommend Anna! She sent pictures and updates so we knew our dog was happy and safe. Our dog warmed up to her family quickly and had a great stay. We will definitely be booking with Anna again in the future!”
“Jamie and her family were very accommodating. My pup felt at home the moment we walked in the door. Even though my dog isn’t used to being around other dogs, she was very comfortable and the other dogs were very well behaved. We will definitely choose Jamie again!!”

“Melissa and her family where fantastic with our babies. Anna and Olaf looked to be very comfortable and loved. She updated us thought our vacation and we felt that she and her family welcomed our babies with such care. We will definitely be booking with her in the future. About: Hi! I’m Jaden! An animal lover, active homebody, and someone who truly understands how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. 🤍 I strive to create a calm, loving, and comfortable environment where pets feel safe, cared for, and genuinely welcomed.. not just “watched.” Whether your pet loves adventure, playtime, cuddles, slow mornings, or simply having someone nearby, I do my best to match their individual needs and personality. I have experience with both dogs and cats of various ages, temperaments, and energy levels through Rover as well as personal pet care experience. I’m especially attentive to communication and love keeping pet parents updated with thoughtful messages, photos, and little moments throughout their stay so you can feel connected and at ease while away. A little about me: • Active lifestyle — great for walks, play, and enrichment • Calm and patient personality • Clean, cozy, pet-loving environment • Comfortable with routines, medications, and special instructions • Big believer that pets deserve love, structure, and safety I know every animal is different, and I truly care about making sure they feel secure, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! 🐾 I have a pretty flexible work schedule so I can accommodate to most last minute needs. Personal preference would be afternoons for walking dogs but of course any time you need, I will make work! Besides from outdoor play, indoor environmental stimulation is also a priority. I love to snuggle with animals to establish safety and trust. My cat has her own cat tree that she loves as well.
“Josie watched our dog for four days while we were gone on vacation. She was in communication with us throughout our trip. She was flexible with drop off and pick up times. From the pics we received, our dog looked like she had a lot of fun playing and relaxing too. She has been sleeping since we got her home.😊 I would book Josie again.”

“Wonderful, wonderful dog sitter. She was totally committed to making Bella's stay a good one. Her dog turned out to be a great playmate. Bella comes on strong, not all dogs enjoy her. Highly recommend!”

“a wonderful sitter with a great amount of care put into her work! followed care instructions perfectly. would leave my baby in her care again! good picture updates and detailed notes were left for every visit.”

About: I have had multiple dogs, young and old, throughout my life. I’ve had a Shih Tzu, golden lab, fostered multiple pit bulls, and currently have two cats at home. I am comfortable with both high energy and high maintenance dogs, and am able to run with a dog who can’t seem to walk at a normal pace. Currently, I have two cats and a bunny, giving me background on the best care for any other pet needs! I am currently working part-time remotely, making my work schedule very convenient for any sitting needs. I am a full-time student at USD, pursing Finance, where I have classes only on Tuesdays, Thursdays from 9:00-1:45 p.m. Because I live in a town home complex that is unfenced, and have two cats at home, I am unable to sit at my location. But, I have a lot of experience with dog sitting at others homes, from neighbors, to family friends, to my parents clients when needed!

“Mikayla was so great with our cats, even when they got into trouble and made a mess. She sent us great photos and I'm confident that our cats were well cared for while we were gone!”

“We can’t recommend having Caitlin care for your pets enough!! She takes such great care of our puppy and makes sure he gets lots of love and exercise when she visits! We will continue to book with her whenever our puppy needs care 😊”

“Trudy Is awesome! We were nervous to leave our cat at first as she was young and had a bit of social anxiety, but Trudy eased all our fears. Very engaged and adaptive to pets needs and owner requests. Would highly recommend Trudy for any pet needs you have!”

“Zach did a wonderful job taking care of my kitties and mice! Though he didn't have a lot of experience with mice, he jumped right in and was ready to learn! He was reliable and even came back over when my lock wasn't working correctly to make sure my animals weren't alone! Thank you!”

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

“Chressie did a wonderful job checking in on our pups on Saturday and Sunday when we were gone for most of the day. Even though it was a last-minute request she was very flexible & gave several options for a meet & greet. She did great with all our quirky dogs. She sent updates & pictures & was professional & prompt! She even brought our packages inside!”
About: I am a 30 year old RN in Sioux Falls. I grew up on a farm in the country and my entire life we had dogs and other animals in the family. My dog prior to moving was a pitbull/lab mix. I raised him from a puppy until his last days where I was sleeping with him on the garage floor. I definitely learned how to manage a muscular dog thanks to him. I now have a Merle Great Dane, Meeko. He loves playing with other dogs and even tries playing with cats. I have a 3.5 year old son and 1.5 year old daughter. I work three, 12 hour shifts a week, differing days of week, and every third weekend. I switch between days and nights with a majority on days so I am pretty flexible! I only take bookings for daycare or boarding when I'm off work unless your dog is used to being kenneled for 10-12 hours. If just needing drop in visits, I am able to do those before/after work. I have a fenced backyard and my dog loves playing with any sized dog. I have babysat for dogs from weiner dog to other great dane sized. A lot of outside time is offered to burn off energy. That also gives them a break from my wild toddler and baby.
About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have cared for them and do everything necessary to give them the best life. I have cared for multiple fosters as well. My schedule is flexible so I have the time to invest in taking care of your pet. Whether it is to play with them in the yard or take them for a walk. I am very watchful and mindful of dogs, knowing they can get into things. So I am right there to make sure they are properly cared for.

“Christina has a fantastic fenced in backyard and a very friendly dog. You can tell she enjoys interacting with the dogs too! She sent some videos and pics to let us know how they were doing. We can tell they had an absolute blast with her family! We barely made it in the door and they both flopped over from being tired! We will be definitely be repeat customers!! THANK YOU!!!!!”

“Ozzie received the best care this week, and I’m incredibly grateful. He wasn’t feeling well, but thanks to her patience, attention, and genuine love for animals, he’s now back to his happy self. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I truly appreciate everything and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I provide loving, attentive care for dogs in the Sioux Falls area and have years of experience caring for my family’s and relatives’ dogs while they’re on vacation. Your pup will be treated like part of the family in a safe, comfortable home environment. My home features a fully fenced backyard, upper and lower living levels, and one of my favorite (and most dogs’ favorite!) features—a full glass sunroom that overlooks the backyard. It’s the perfect spot for dogs to relax, soak up the sun, and keep an eye out for rabbits and other wildlife. I have a 1.5-year-old chiweenie named Copper who is very active, friendly, and gets along well with all dogs. Before Copper, I had my chug, Kewley, for 16.5 wonderful years, so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Copper is crate trained and is crated during short outings like when I attend church. Weather permitting, we go on daily walks, and your dog will be welcome to join us! For long term stays, we may also enjoy visiting small dog parks almost daily to burn off energy and have fun. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so pets get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Weather permitting we will go on walks and possibly the dog park if all parties are ok with that. I will send daily pics/videos throughout the stay. Some photos may be consider professional portraits :) I live alone with my ChiWeenie Copper as mentioned. My neighborhood is full of dogs and the people are friendly. Overall, it is a quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Pets can be crated at anytime if owner prefers. I plan on not having more than 3-4 dogs at a time. Small-Medium size dogs only.
“Paige was great with communication. She kept up with frequent updates and pictures while caring for our dog, any and all questions we had were answered in a timely manner. I would trust her in the future to dog sit for us anytime.”

“Oliver loved being at Lauren and Corey’s house. They took great care of him and made our first experience with Rover wonderful. We will definitely be contacting them again when we need care for him in the future.”

“Absolutely fantastic!!! Her family took such good care of Oakley and sent updates often and was so accommodating and responsive. Oakley had the best time. Absolutely will be using again :)”

“Mikayla was amazing with RJ. She communicated very well about the happenings with RJ. The daily pictures helped ease my mind that he really was on. Not that I ever had a doubt, but RJ does have an opinion of his own and will let you know all about it. Each day, he came home very tuckered out.”

“Anna and her family are great! We used her daycare services while we had some work being done at our house and she was super flexible when we needed to adjust days last minute. Anna takes such good care of our pup, I highly recommend her!”

“Jordan Thank you for the special love you give Sylbie when we leave her with you. She is anxious to start her day with you, which means allot to us as we know she is being well cared for and loved. Thank You!!! Terry”

About: Hi! I’m Stephanie, and I absolutely love pups! 🐾 I grew up with dogs and now have a 4-year-old staffy mix named Cricket and another who is 5 months old named Louie. They are both very friendly, loves other dogs, adore people, and usually becomes best friends with every dog who stays with us! We go to parks daily and love when new furry friends join us. I can keep your pup at my home during the day and accommodate any feeding or health needs. We get out at least twice a day, giving plenty of opportunity for exercise and playtime. Your dog will get lots of attention, socialization, and safe, monitored play. We also enjoy hikes and outdoor adventures! I drive a Subaru Forester, so there’s plenty of room to transport multiple dogs if your pup enjoys exploring. My pups are treat-motivated, and I’m happy to share treats with your dog if that’s something they enjoy—just let me know what works best for them. We’d love to meet your pup and make them feel part of our adventures here in Sioux Falls! I have a pup of my own that I take out hiking, running, or long walks daily. She loves other dogs and we would love to have yours tag along on our adventures or stay at home and play! My pup is free to roam around the house when I'm home or away. She also has a crate that she loves and is able to stay in there if that would make your dog more comfortable! My house is a dog friendly one with a unfenced yard that we are ablet to run and play in. I feed my dog twice a day and she is ok being fed around other dogs, but I am able to separate them during feeding time if that is necessary. My dog is also ok sharing toys so if yours enjoys playing with toys my dog would love to share what she has!
About: Hi everyone - I was a mom to older English Bulldogs who have recently passed and understand the need for a sitter at times. I used to use a dog sitter myself during the day and understand how hard it can be to get home sometimes! Now that my doggos are no longer with me, I would love to help you out. I work from home so can accept daycare or overnight boarding at my place. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced in backyard for all of the potty breaks and I can also bring them on short walks if requested. I live in a zero-entry, one-level home with no steps which is great for pets with bad joints.
About: Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm so happy to be here! I have 15 years of experience caring for and walking my own dogs, and sitting for friends and family. I know the importance of getting some exercise in for your fur friend, and how challenging it can be to find the time some days! So I am here to help, let me take care of that task for you! I enjoy walking and being outdoors and I'd love to have your pup accompany me! I also own my own home with a fully fenced in backyard, and I work full time from home, so if you need boarding or daycare services, my home would be great for you! I have two pups of my own that absolutely love other dogs, so if you are ok with that, we'd love to care for and keep your pup with us, too! I work from home full time, so it’s easy to attend to my pups (and yours!) during the workday. I can make a lunch hour walk or drop work easily. And afternoons and evenings are pretty open! I have a fully fenced in yard and I am able to let my dogs out as often as they need, and they would be perfect companions for your pups when staying here as well
About: I work remotely so I’m home most of the day☺️ This allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day! My husband and I are both dog lovers and have a dog of our own, Carter, a 9 y.o. black lab/blue heeler mix. She’s very friendly, easygoing, and gets along great with other dogs🐶 We don’t have kids, so our home is calm and quiet, and the dogs get lots of attention🥰 They’re welcome on the furniture if that’s what they’re used to at home, and we have a large fenced yard where they can safely run and play. We also live in a safe, dog-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for regular walks! I’ll treat your pup like part of the family and do my BEST to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re here🥰 Feel free to reach out with any questions about availability or how boarding/daycare works, I’m always happy to help!☺️ Because I work remotely, I’m home most of the day and able to give dogs lots of attention🥰 Walks and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my routine I only take up to 2 dogs per day to keep things calm, comfortable, and low-stress for everyone. I treat every dog like family and work from home, so they get plenty of attention and supervision! My home is clean, pet-friendly, with a large fenced yard for safe playtime, and I always follow each dog’s routine to help them feel at ease🙂

“Olivia was amazing with our dog and went above and beyond to help care for her when we were out of town. So grateful to have had her help and will definitely book again in the future!”

About: I have experience caring for animals of all ages, from playful ones who need socialization and routine to seniors who may require medication, special diets, or extra comfort and attention. I take the time to build trust at each pet’s pace, ensuring they feel safe and relaxed while you're away. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is receiving loving, reliable care. I’m currently working part time during the summer, and attend college full time. My schedule during the academic year is pretty flexible! I can always work around times. I have my own dog who LOVES to play with others. He goes to doggy daycare almost everyday so he is very social. I also have a cat, who can be social at times but she is usually pretty content with other cats.
“Grace is the BEST! She was my regular dog walker. She was very responsive and helped me get all the schesuling in the app. My dog, who can be timid with strangers, loves her. My schedule changed every week and she was always flexible. When I would get called for extra shifts, she would do her best to add the days to her schedule. I wish she was still in my area. She would still be my #1 dog walker. Can't say enough good things about her!!!”

I love dogs so much and I am looking forward to watching a lot of cute and loving doggies. 😊 I’m currently not working in the summers because I’m a teacher, but during the school year I work part time so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your furry babies. I’m free mostly on weekdays, but I can also work many weekends. My yard is not fenced in, but I do have an underground electric fence. I can easily crate your pet if needed, or give them 24/7 attention if needed.

About: Hi!

“Zach has watched our highly anxious dog twice now and he has done such a great job both times!! We can enjoy our vacations knowing our dog is in such great hands with Zach!”

“Shayla is very responsive and great to work with. She treats your dog like one of her own. She has an awesome large fenced in back yard with so much space to play. I loved all the pictures and updates she sends. Will definitely be back for more stays!”

“Amber and Calissa deserve a 10 star rating. This was our First time using Rover. I did not know what to expect. These ladies go above and beyond. I received many adorable pictures of Honey out walking, napping, and snuggling. Honey, even got to go to a baseball game and in a paddleboard ride. Thanks for everything ladies!!”

“Amazing!! What a wonderful family to watch our fur baby while we were on vacation! She sent us pictures and videos multiple times in the few days that we were away! We very much felt that our dog was included in their family life and was cared about.. Thank you guys so much!!!”

“Michelle and her family have been a godsend to our family. Not only have their family been wonderful to work with, our dog gets treated just like family while there. Her son has even formed a special bond with our dog. I highly recommend her and we won't ever look back at doing the typical dog kennels again!”
