“Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”

About: I have been the neighborhood pet sitter for years. Neighbors trusted me with their senior dogs of 11 and 14, their dogs that had unending energy, puppies of around 1 or so, and cats and even fish too. I love going to the Greenville humane society and walking dogs of all kinds that have no home, and I have also worked on a couple farms taking care of dogs and cats and other farm animals as well. The only time I didn't have a dog in my care was when I was in college living in dorm rooms, and even then I went to the local shelter to walk and love on puppies while mine were back home. About: I grew up with animals my whole life. I have 3 cats at home but love taking care of the pups! I have been helping my friend's with dog sitting over the years. I love playing with them and caring for them! I'm in school full time and have a couple of my courses online. My schedule is fairly flexible and I can work around different times. Whether that be early morning or later nights. I take caring for pets very seriously. I'm attentive to their behavior changes and possible ailments. I'm not one to sit on my phone during my visits. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 20 and I have had my dog for 14 years. I love animals and love be able to help people! I work full time from home and have a dog living with me. I am able to care for dogs all day and still work I have a fenced in yard with lots of grass to explore! I have comfy furniture outside too for the pups to relax on! I recently lost my Greyhound to cancer and am eager to provide loving care for other dogs. About: I have raised Shih Tzus for the past 15 years while at times also having cats, goats, and chickens. Currently have 1 fur baby- a 12 year old shih tzu who is very easy to get along with! I do have children but they are very used to animals and very sweet with them! I’m currently a stay at home mom with my newest baby so I will be home all day everyday with the exception of running quick errands. I have a nice sized large to play with your dog! We leash walk up and down the street and sometimes at the downtown park.

“Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”
