“What a blessing it was for us to find Saffron. Days before our Thanksgiving vacation we were stuck without a sitter for our boy Levi. I decided to give Rover a try and found Saffron. Within a couple days we did a meet and greet and she brought Fiona and Shrek to meet Levi and they all got along wonderfully! About: Our family raised and cared for our 15 year old Miniature Schnauzer baby until she recently passed the rainbow bridge. We have opened our home to puppies and adult dogs since her passing and have loved spoiling all of the babies big and small, young and old! I work from home and am able to provide constant love and attention to your babies inside the home. I also am extremely flexible and can come visit your babies at the times you request in your home and spend time with them outside or out of their crate. I have a fenced back yard and a neighborhood with sidewalks where I can walk with your babies if you want them to stay with me. If you choose to keep your baby at your home I will make sure they have love, exercise and time outside of their crate.

“Can't give enough compliments to Tara and her family! I have been traveling a lot with my dog and ran into dilemmas when I couldn't bring him certain places with me. Knowing he would be an anxious mess staying in an unfamiliar setting, I looked for nearby sitters and was amazed at Tara's quick response on such short notice. Her neighborhood is perfect for dog walking and her home is clean, safe, and comfortable. Her children are so respectful and were wonderful helpers during Crusoe's stay. I received photos of him enjoying time outside and of course cuddling with the little ones! I rebooked again with Tara the next day and won't hesitate to do so next time we're in town!”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and currently share my home with two dogs of my own so I know what it takes to make pups happy, comfortable, and keep them entertained. Norman, our resident over the top friendly Golden Retriever and his little big sister sidekick Hallie, our corgi/rat terrier mix can't wait to host a new friend! I have a flexible schedule, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day-not just squeezed in around a 9-to-5. My schedule is otherwise wide open- which means lots of walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day and evening. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I have a fenced yard where dogs can play and relax without worry. My home is a smoke-free, pet-friendly environment, and I keep a close eye on all dogs in my care, especially during the first few days as they settle in. About: I just moved to Charleston, but have been a pet sitter for many families in Georgia, Florida, and Colorado. I was a live in nanny for 2 years, and during that time, the family got a puppy that I helped take care of. I also have a senior cat who I rescued as a kitten. I absolutely love animals and have had many different pets throughout my life (bearded dragon, dog, cats, fish, bunnies, geckos, snake, turtle, etc.). I am a part time wedding planner and substitute teacher, so I make my own schedule. I have a 5 year old daughter that I drop off at school at 7:15am and pick up at 2:30pm, so I have the whole day to do whatever I need to do without her. She also loves pets, so if your pet likes children, she may join after school! I have a screened in patio and am on the first level in my apartment building. We have lots of trees/greenery in the complex and there are many parks nearby. If I am in your home, I will treat it just like mine. I do ask that my 5 year old daughter is welcome in your home for overnights, and she can stay in the same bed as me.

About: I work from home, and I am able to provide constant supervision, homemade treats, daily exercise, dog park adventures, and a friendly playmate in Alvin my Boston Terrier. I work from home Monday through Friday 7 AM to 5 PM which means your dog will have plenty of attention, supervision and companionship through the day with my Boston terrier Alvin who loves making new friends and enjoys having a playmate during the day. We typically take (3) 15 minute walk through the neighborhood each day and visit the Charleston County Dog park for about 45 minutes most afternoons, giving the dogs extra time to socialize, explore and exercise. Alvin is my first dog and I’ve dedicated a lot of time to learning and caring about his canine needs I have gone online and taking dog training courses and Alvin has learned lots of fun tricks Alvin and I are also learning to paddleboard. My house feature a fenced in backyard (fence is new) and a doggie door leading into a sunroom, giving dogs the freedom to move between indoor and outdoors. I also have a 12-year-old cat, who prefers to stay in the master bedroom but does have some interaction with the visiting dogs. Your pet safety and comfort are my top priorities. Freshwater is always available in large bowls that are clean daily and refilled multiple times throughout the day. I also keep basic pet care on hand. Alvin is friendly playful and enjoy spending time with other dogs. We take regular neighborhood walks and visit the Dog park several times each week allowing additional exercise, and socialization. While I’m comfortable on routine care instruction I’m not able to administrate medicines that require special handling or medical procedures. Please discuss any care needs before booking to ensure I can provide the best experience for your pet.

(Dogs, cats, snakes, guinea pigs, fish, etc) I love animals so much and would love to watch your pets when you are in need of someone! Pet care is something I am very used to in my routine since I have always had pets of my own, so it’s a normal daily routine for me, no problem! I make sure to walk dogs daily, clean up any accidents or messes immediately, separate dogs during feeding times if necessary, always let dogs outside immediately when they alert me that they need to go etc.
