“Stephanie was great! She was really good about communicating with me and responded quickly. When I had a timing mix-up she was flexible and worked around my schedule. I had never left my kitten at another house before, so she allowed me to do a little day care for free before the actual dates I was gone to allow him to get used to the environment which was so nice. She also had two very sweet but super active dogs and a friendly cat. My kitty is pretty chill and adjusted well but I could see all of the other animals (especially the dogs) potentially being a lot for a skiddish/anxious animal to handle. At the end of the day I got Kuzco back a very happy cat and I would definitely trust her to watch him again :) Thank you!!”

“We left our sweet kitty Elora with Angela and her family over Christmas. We were very grateful for her to accommodate her and bring her into her families celebration. Elora seemed to get along just fine with her and her animals and came home just as content as when we dropped her off. The only thing I would mention for anyone with chemical sensitives Elora did come home smelling like a lot of artificial fragrances as did everything we dropped her off with and needed a good bath (she was not pleased about that) as we are chemical sensitive. This has nothing to do with the quality of care, and the genuine heart of Angela and her family just something to be aware of for those who have chemical sensitivities to artificial fragrances which is why I have rated 4 stars.”

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm so I have extended experience with horses, goats, cows, dogs, and cats. I regularly watch a friend's cats when they are out of town. I can feed, bathe, administer oral or topical medicine, walk, and play with pets. I currently have 1 elderly dog that is docile and friendly. I am able to care for senior dogs and dogs with additional needs or medical needs as I have experience through my own as well as caring for others' animals. Rover is my job and source of income. I am extremely available. My only obligations are doctor appointments that are not able to be online. All other times of the week I am looking forward to helping others care for their furry loved ones. My dog truly family. He allowed on furniture and supervised play in our open yard. He loves sunbathing and playing with toys. I can, and am used to, administering medicine on a schedule. I am a long distance runner so long walks and extended play time is no issue at all! The following is a look into our daily life. We begin the day with a walk before food. We play outside and sunbathe around noon. In the later afternoon we go on an extended walk/run followed by food. Before bed we always play with him and take him out before bed. At night he will get up and walk to the door to go out. Since I am a light sleeper I am able to wake up for him.

I'm pretty strict when it comes to Suki's diet and exercise routine. She gets fed twice a day with a slow feeder to avoid any mishaps, and I make sure to keep her brain active with mentally stimulating games when we're not out and about. Speaking of which, we hit the dog park 3-5 times a week and go on hikes and runs at the lake. Suki's a ball of energy and loves playing fetch, so be prepared to throw that ball a few times! Now, let me be honest with you. It's highly unlikely, but on occasion, Suki might come along for a walk or a drop-in visit and hang out in my car. Don't worry, she's super chill and won't leave any fur behind. Beginning in August, my availability will shift as I start graduate school, and I will primarily be available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, meals (if needed), potty breaks, exercise, and attention tailored to their personality. For walks, I focus on safety, consistency, and making sure your dog gets both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I pay attention to weather conditions, energy levels, and each dog's comfort and confidence. I also keep an eye on the little things. As someone who has cared for animals for many years, I know that changes in appetite, energy, mobility, or behavior can be important. If I notice something unusual, I will communicate it promptly. In a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the household itself. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, and for you to come home to a happy pet and a home just as you left it.
