“Our German shepherd (Zeus) is a very anxious, does not like other dogs, does not take treats from people either, some may say aggressive but really, he’s just scared.we needed to find a person that could handle him, in other words know how to take the lead, show him “it’s okay” . We were amazed at how quickly she created a bond with him! Jack has the talent/skill and knowledge for taking care of big anxious dogs and sassy ones too. Recommend 10 out of 10. About: I currently have 2 dogs and 3 cats, and I have had fur babies my whole life. I currently work part-time at a doggy daycare, and take care of about 100+ dogs a day. I also have had experience dog sitting as well as cat sitting in the past! I work part-time currently, but am cutting back on my hours, so I will be available a lot of the time to care for puppies and not so puppies and even cats. I also am on summer break until August from school, so that isn’t a factor either. Currently I spend a lot of time playing with my own pups at home, but we also have them crate trained, and e-collar trained, so that is something that I am completely comfortable with if that is something you have in your home!

No shortage of those here either but, I like to make them earn them - like enforcing commands they already know and rewarding them for going potty. I also feel like meet and greets are important to ensure your pup(s) interact well with mine. Safety is my number one concern. As I have stated mine are well socialized and I want nothing more to help others socialize theirs as well. Safety is a top priority in my home. I stop my work day to play fetch it for them for about an hour.

About: I have owned/cared for cats for as long as I can remember. I am currently an owner of 3 cats and 1 dog and have tons of experience caring for cats/dogs of family and friends. I genuinely love spending time with animals and giving them the attention/affection they need. I have experience with exercising, feeding, giving medication, and administering first aid to pets. I am home evenings and weekends, and we work together to provide structure, security, and consistent monitoring. Whether a pup thrives with structured crate rest or enjoys calm, supervised sunroom naps, we tailor stays responsibly rather than one-size-fits-all. I work full-time as an insurance producer in Monroe, NC from 8–5, Monday through Friday. I’m home all day on weekends, and during the week, my husband is at our homestead full-time and helps provide care and supervision. Since we work as a team, your pets will never be left alone for long periods. I’m also available for morning or evening drop-ins and walks depending on location and schedule! We live on a peaceful 10-acre homestead. We do not allow free play with other pets - so you know that your furry friend is safe and sound the entire stay! They will have supervised playtime with other pups from the same household, or with just our staff! Our top priority is a safe stay.
About: My experience comes from owning my own pets (goats,chickens,ducks,dogs,cats,bunnies,guinea pigs,hamsters) and petsitting (yes, even even horses, pigs, snakes and bugs). In previous years, I fostered for countless animal rescue groups and shelters, whether it was just volunteering or fostering puppies or senior dogs in need. I currently own a pitbull/lab rescue, Cali, who I trust with few people. I completely understand the anxiety when it comes to trusting someone new to watch over your pup. This is why I prioritize communication, forming relationships with both pets and parents, sending frequent updates and paying close attention to details/routines provided to me. After each visit, you can always expect to find water bowls to be clean and full, leashes hung up and everything just as you left it except this time with a happy and tired pup! About: My family owned dogs and cats all my life. Once I got old enough to take on responsibility, I started feeding, bathing, walking, and cleaning up after my pets. I love pets of all kind and I've owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and guinea pigs. I currently have 8 dogs of my own which are 7 American bullies and one Boston Terrier (Abel, Nyx, Hella, Cash, Holly, Buckshot, Zarah, and Maddie) a gecko named Leroy, and a baby quaker parrot, named Sully. About: I've lived with and loved all animals since I was tiny, and have a special gift for non-verbal communication with critters. My experience includes our own mini-farm, working my aunt's petting zoo, interning at a therapeutic riding program, and most recently at working at Project2Heal for the past year.
