“Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm so I have extended experience with horses, goats, cows, dogs, and cats. I regularly watch a friend's cats when they are out of town. I can feed, bathe, administer oral or topical medicine, walk, and play with pets. I currently have 1 elderly dog that is docile and friendly. I am able to care for senior dogs and dogs with additional needs or medical needs as I have experience through my own as well as caring for others' animals. I am currently saving up for my unpaid internship in music therapy. I am extremely available. My only obligations are one class on Monday's and Friday's. She loves sunbathing and playing with toys. I can, and am used to, administering medicine on a schedule. I am a long distance runner so long walks and extended play time is no issue at all! The following is a look into our daily life. We begin the day with a walk before food and medicine. We play outside and sunbathe around noon. In the later afternoon we go on an extended walk/run followed by food and medicine. Before bed we always play with her and take her out before bed. At night she often needs to go out multiple times a night so I take her whenever I hear her cues.

About: I've always liked to rescue animals and care for them from a young age. So lots of my family and friends would bring animals to me or trust me to petsit for them. I've not only cared for dogs and cats, but also turtles, toads, and a few birds. I'm currently solely attending classes so I have plenty of availability for your pets to always feel well cared for during their stay with me! I have a fenced patio, luckily there are a few pet friendly parks that surround me. I follow any instructions given for your pet care to a T since no one knows your pet like you do. About: Hello! My name is Emily and I have owned animals for my entire life and have very much experience with them. From Tiny Critters to over thousand pound horses-they tend to like me and I love them all! I am a farrier, meaning that I trim and shoe horses hooves, so I do work a couple of hours at least once a week but I spend as much time with my clients pets as I can because I can only imagine how they feel when their people aren’t home and I would want someone to do the same for my fur babies. Dogs, Cats, and/or Critters may sleep in the bed with me or wherever they wish to sleep, as long as they and happy and comfortable! I can’t wait to meet your pets! About: I’ve always had dogs and cats... My #1 goal is living in the country and having lots! I currently live in fountain inn & have one dog, so we’re getting there 😉😊 We go on lots of walks as my street is a one way in/one way out. I do not live on a busy road, and the houses are spaced out a bit in my neighborhood compared to newer construction. My land is used for lots of ball chasing & zoomies. I’m a RN of 20+ years, mother to 3, and a floral preservation artist. I recently resigned from my RN role, and stepped away from the medical field following my mother’s passing, I’ve been working on an Etsy shop, and spending the summer with my boys. Pet sitting fits into my routine as a stay at home mom/artist. Any potential RN roles in the future would be remote. My house is located on a golf course and includes one acre of land. A portion of that land is fenced directly behind my home and another portion is wide open space. We have an older dog named Esme. She is a female and spayed/microchipped. She’s a mix that came from the Humane Society in Greenville and truly the best dog I’ve ever had. She is indoor/outdoor and does not require a lead. Any guest would be able to follow her same schedule, which is to go in and out Very regularly whether on a lead or in the back fenced yard. I have plenty of space in my home if your dog is crated at night, and I also allow Esme (& yours if approved) to be on the couches in the living room. I keep them covered with regularly laundered throws Washed twice weekly and as needed.
About: I have done pet sitting for several years and love all types and sizes of dogs and cats as well as other animals. I believe our pets are a very important family member and should be treated as such. I have had large dogs in the past as well as small dogs. I will care for your dog as if it was my own family member. I will spend time talking to your dog or cat as well as walking with your dog and interacting with them to include playtime with them if that is what you desire. I do work a 9-5 pm job Monday - Friday and and Saturdays 9-1 pm which means I would be unavailable during these hours to care for your pet. I am able to stay overnight and feed them in the morning and then come back to your home and stay with them for the evening but am not available to let them out during the day. Your pet will be in the loving care of someone that appreciates and enjoys pets. I have also done extensive foster care with dogs restoring them to good health from sometimes a not so nice situation. I have also fostered puppies until they were housebroken so that they could then be adopted out to a loving family as well. If you are wanting someone to stay with your pets in the evenings I would definitely be happy to do so.

Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”
