About: I also have experience caring for cats and understand that they each have their own personalities and routines. I’m comfortable handling feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving them space when they need it. I’ve cared for cats in friends’ homes and always make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well looked after while their owners are away.
About: I have taken care of animals my whole life, having 9 pet dogs, 2 pet cats, 4 ducks, and 4 chickens. I love all animals and caring for them. I am a college soccer player so I love to be active, I am always taking my dogs for runs and walks! I would love to help out anyone in need of someone to watch their sweet pets! When I am home from school, (Dec/Jan/May/June/July) I am practically on my own schedule. I train soccer and workout on my own time, so during these months I am very available! Previously, when I am taking care of a pet at a client’s home I will ask the owner what they typically do for their pets during the day and try to replicate that as best as I can for the pets!

About: I’m different from other cat sitters because I don’t just “check in” on cats—I take the time to truly care for them. I understand that every cat has their own personality, routines, and boundaries, and I respect all of it. Whether your cat is playful, shy, anxious, or a total diva, I move at their pace and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and litter habits, give genuine affection (when welcomed), and always prioritize a calm, clean environment. To me, cat sitting isn’t just a job—it’s building trust with your cat and peace of mind for you. 🐾

“Jennifer is the ultimate dog whisper. She is great with all of our pets, she is dependable, timely, and is a good communicator. I can rest assured that my babies are in good hands.”

I've had over a thousand dog of all shapes and sizes come through my home and currently I own one dog and my parents own 3 dogs, 4 bunnies, and many reptiles. I've had animals in my life all my life I own a dog. So pet care is a daily task of my life. I love taking my dog to the park and long hikes and I've always had a real love for animals as a whole. My dog is super alllergenic so I've had dogs that require medications every few hours. I would say being on top of meds and consistency is always a top goal. Making sure they aren't having symptoms and daily exercise and play time is a priority as just like us dogs can become depressed cooped up. I have a large suv so taking dogs on rides of any size or multiple is no issue for me. hiking and exploring is always a fun time for me and my puppy and I hope to share it with yours.

About: I've had dogs my entire life and started dog sitting at a young age. I currently have 2 dogs and would gladly welcome your pet into the mix. I feel that dogs truly are our best friends so you can rest assured they will be well taken care of when they're with me. I've watched puppies, seniors and I've even watched a dog that just got out of surgery. I freelance as a photographer and I spend part of my day editing which means plenty of time with your dog! I will make sure your pet gets lots of attention and play time. I walk the dogs daily and have a TON of toys. I have 2 dogs that can play with and keep your dog company. I have crates if needed as well. Dogs will be leashed in my yard at all times but I have parks near by to make sure they get exercise.
About: We have over 40 years of experience. We've had dogs our whole lives growing up. We have an eight -year-old 10 pound male Yorky & a two-year-old 90 pound male Bernese Mountain dog, both very loving. We have a big backyard with a fence. 2 1/2 acres of woods with trails to play in & for fun walks. My 4 kids even love dogs! Our dogs are like our kids. Every pet we had has a special place in our hearts. I am partly remote worker. My husband and young children are home all day. We have no problem with scheduling. We only require 24 hours notice. We have a big kitchen and dining room open space. We have a big backyard. The backyard is completely fenced in. We have a big dog crate depending on the dogs preference how to sleep.
“I was very happy with the care Sam received. Brenda is very patient and knowledgeable. Sam was very shy and she worked with that. He loved running with her. Her daughter was amazing with him. He followed her everywhere. He also got along with Brenda’s pets. I have already booked her again.”

About: I currently have 4 husky pups that are very well socialized and would love more friends to play with. I also work with rescue groups to help pups in need. I have never met a pup I didn’t love! I currently work from home. Your pet will hardly be in a create and will be treated just like one of mine. Many potty breaks throughout the day. I often get on the floor and play so they know I am part of the pack. Toys? Well let’s just say there is not a shortage of toys in the house. Every room we visit has a “toy box”. Treats? No shortage of those here either but, I like to make them earn them - like enforcing commands they already know and rewarding them for going potty. I have almost a half acre with a fully fenced in back yard. Your pet will go out multiple times a day. I also foster and rescue pups so I am very good with socializing new pups with mine. They have previously lived with smaller pups such as a Jack Russell and Yorkie and they loved them to pieces. They also attend “daycare” and “overnight camp” in order to keep them socialized. I also feel like meet and greets are important to ensure your pup(s) interact well with mine. Safety is my number one concern. As I have stated mine are well socialized and I want nothing more to help others socialize theirs as well. Safety is a top priority in my home. I do accept puppies you well you just need to message me separately is we can discuss. My yard is fully fenced in and almost a 1/2 acre. I stop my work day to play fetch it for them for about an hour.

“First time dog parent. First time Rover app user. So glad Monty & I connected with Raquel. From first point of contact, meet and greet, day one and day two of doggy care was absolutely amazing. Raquel is a genuine, authentic, dog care provider. Communication ✅. Care Expectations Met ✅. Very Responsive✅. Professional✅. Personable✅. She’s passionate about caring for dogs and it is shown through her attentiveness to the well-being of dogs while under her care. Raquel’s sitter etiquette is superb. To see her love on Monty at drop-off and pick up gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was being left in good hands. To make things even better she shared updates via pics and videos throughout the day on each doggy daycare visit. Hands down, we’ll be re-booking Raquel. #RaquelROCKS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 32yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys and a daughter. They are 1yr, 4yr, and a 11yr. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being a mother to my kids. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. Any other way I will not neglect the animal nor abuse, I feel that’s an awful thing to do! Like I said you have to treat the animals as just as if was my own because they are human beings just in a different way! I work from home. So basically I be at home the majority of the day. So I have time on my hands to fit pet care in my schedule! I make sure they are well love as much love I give to my boys and daughter! I also will take them on walks as needed to get the nature outdoors!
About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life! Before I moved to SC 3 years ago, I spent a few years working for a non-profit animal shelter in Louisiana. My job included cleaning kennels, feeding/watering, medicine administration, socialization, preparation for adoption/freedom rides, and of course lots and lots of pets and cuddles. I currently have 2 large rescue dogs (Cooper-5, Moo-3) and 1 rescue cat (Josephine-1) with my fiancé (Matthew-29). We love to take the animals on daily walks and hikes on long weekends! My purpose in life is to make sure my pets live a better life than me. And they definitely do! I have a very flexible full time job that allows me to be home most of the time. I make sure my dogs get daily walks and my cat’s litter box is cleaned daily! And enrichment activities on days where the weather doesn’t cooperate. My pets are my life. They are always up to date on their vaccinations, kennel trained, and always on a leash when not inside our home/fence. They also get clipped in when we go on truck rides. Moo has had to undergo TPLO surgery on one of her legs so I have plenty of patience for a 8 week recovery for a hyper active dog. Including administering her medication, doing her daily stretches and icing, as well as making sure she got outside time by pushing her in a cart on walks.
About: Hi! I’m Lorena, a dependable and caring pet sitter with a lifelong love for dogs. I work from home, so your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also have 15 years of experience caring for my own Miniature Schnauzer from puppyhood through her senior years, including medication and special care needs. I understand how important it is to feel confident your pet is safe and loved while you’re away. I follow routines closely and provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I look forward to caring for your furry family member! I work from home so Pepper and I will have an extra friend to keep us company during the day. We go outside several times during the day. We do not have a fence, however I take Pepper on walks on the leash very often. Your dog can sleep on its bed, we also have an extra bed.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a couple of years throughout high school and I would love to care for your babies now that I’m in college. I am a full time student and work part time but I am free before 11 and after 4:30 M/ Tu/ TH and after all day W/F. I grew up with dogs and have always had a kind heart for them since I was little. I will definitely take care of all your dogs needs
About: I have owned/cared for cats for as long as I can remember. I am currently an owner of 3 cats and 1 dog and have tons of experience caring for cats/dogs of family and friends. I genuinely love spending time with animals and giving them the attention/affection they need. I have experience with exercising, feeding, giving medication, and administering first aid to pets. I am a stay-at-home husband (and soon to be father) so my schedule is extremely flexible and I have reliable transportation. I’m available weekends and weekdays including evenings. My own pup is high energy/high anxiety (but he absolutely loves other dogs!) so I can understand that every pet has individualized needs. I am happy to work with any owner on a case by case basis to determine what works best for their pet. I can do home visits or could potentially house pets at my residence. We have a large backyard sitting on about 8 acres of land. Dogs love it here!
“Scott and his wife Brittney were great to work with! My mother-in-law was staying with our dogs Echo & Loki while my husband and I were travelling for a week and we wanted to find someone to walk our pups daily for her. Scott was very friendly and quick to reply while messaging him about our request and easy to work with. The meet and greet went well and the pups enjoyed meeting both him and Brittney. They went above and beyond by going with us for a walk around the neighborhood during the meet and then also coming over again to do a walk with just them and the pups! We knew our pups were going to be taken care of! Everything seemed to go well while we were away and the pups were exercised daily. We would definitely use Scott and Brittney for dog walkers if needed in the future.”

“This was Scribble’s 1st time staying at someone’s house without us. We were nervous. Jessica was amazing with Scribble! She arranged for Scribble to have her own space until Scribble felt comfortable. She provided us with regular updates, pictures, & a video! This was a great experience for Scribble & these nervous fur-baby parents! Highly recommended!!”

“The absolute best family! They made sure Rockie was well taken care of & treated her as their own. I can tell Rockie enjoyed her stay & fell in love with her new friends! I was so nervous with this being my first time booking & she is my baby lol, but Ximena & Travis kept me updated and sent pictures throughout her stay.”

“Laura was amazing with our golden! He had the best time with her! She sent us updates and pictures throughout his time with her. He enjoyed his walks with her and playing with her golden! “Victoria was amazing!! This is the first time we have booked through Rover and we needed someone to watch our cat Macaroon last minute so that my family could go on vacation. Macaroon had an amazing time and made some friends during her stay. Victoria treated Macaroon as her own and gave goodie bag while leaving, so sweet of her. We definitely use her next time.”

“Christina is a wonderful pet sitter. Her personality is very nice and you can tell she is an animal lover. Her house is clean and set up great to accommodate her furry visitors. The fenced back yard is a plus and I know our dog Bella loved being outside occasionally. I appreciate that Christina sends pictures and it is obvious Bella is happy. I would highly recommend that you can entrust Christina with your beloved pet.”

“Our two bulldogs had a wonderful stay with Matthew and his family. We received excellent communication, daily photos and knew are pups were being treated with attentive care including lots of walks and play time. We would definitely use Matthew again for pet-sitting services. Thank you so much!”

“Paola was wonderful with Riley. He took to her right away, letting me know she was a good person because dogs have six sense about those things. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. I would never hesitate about leaving my fur baby with Paola because she loved him like I would at home. She kept me informed with text and pictures of how he was doing. I highly recommend her if you ever need to leave your fur baby, they will be cared for Paola. 😊”

“First time ever using Chrissy for my 5 month pup she was wonderful sending pictures and updates on how my dog was doing . I loved that she was treated like a family pet allowed to not be crate all day , she was able to jump on couch and feel like home , play outside and join the other dogs for playtime . I highly recommend crissy care 5 stars ⭐️”

“Brent was amazing with our dog Barry!! Our little guy is super anxious and it takes someone with a lot of patience and experience to handle him and Brent definitely was that person! Would recommend him over and over again! Best dog sitter we have come across and so glad we found him 🙏🏻🙌🏻”

“Kaylee was very communicative before and during Toby’s stay… She was so easy to make arrangements with and she sent pictures and videos while we were gone. Her location was wonderfully convenient (close to the I-77 exit). She treated Toby very well - you can tell she is a true animal lover at heart. We will definitely bring him back again!”

“Morgan was fantastic with our two big dogs. They can be a lot but she had them relaxed and playing their hearts out. Morgan seems to have a gift with animals and it really comes through in the way she interacts with them and how comfortable she makes them. Cannot recommend her enough.”

“Shelby is an excellent boarding hostess. She is patient and kind and she and her 2 dogs made Shadow feel right at home. She sent photos and is an excellent communicator. We will call Shelby again!”

“This was our 1st time using Rover for our 2 cats. The cats got their own private room and Leigh kept me posted on how they were doing. I’d definitely board them with Leigh again.”

“My fur babies were so well loved and cared for during their stay. I felt completely comfortable with them staying there and loved seeing photos of the family cuddling with my pups. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone looking for a great place for their pets to stay.”
